Normally use this car park with no…

Normally use this car park with no problems but on this occasion hit with a fine for being slightly over a white line that I never noticed. I couldn't have parked any closer to the car next to me or I wouldn't have got out my door !!! That's the last time I will use this car park. . definitely avoid 😡 oh and returning bus took forever to come pick up a crowd of freezing cold passengers at 2am.....lots of complaints!

CANNOT BE TRUSTED

I received a hefty fine for allegedly not parking completely within a marked bay. To be honest, with all the leaves and muck on the ground in this badly maintained, badly lit car park it is difficult to see where the bays start and end.
However, more importantly, I actually asked staff in the office after parking up and before getting on the shuttle if where I was parked was OK and was told it was. I have tried to appeal but NCP who actually own/run this carpark have completely ignored this aspect. Whether they haven't bothered to ask the member of staff or they did but they have denied it I don't know. Either way, NCP cannot be trusted.

I wouldn't use this car park again in any case. It doesn't feel safe, especially if you cannot trust the management and staff.

DO NOT USE THIS CAR PARK AND AVOID NCP COMPLETELY IF YOU CAN.

One star too much

One star too much. Do not use this company. Service not fit for purpose. Received a parking fine for parking in the dark with no lighting and only one visible space. Fine received for parking in only space available. They clearly over sell and use disputable practices to make their money. Please look elsewhere for parking. Never had an issue with nay of other companies. I am clearly not only one.

Very very poor lit car park

Very very poor lit car park , which makes it impossible to park in the dark! Then hit you with a £100 find for not parking in the bays that are suppose to be marked clear but you can’t see , stay clear and use other car parks in the area , also bus very unreliable and over all poor service

Flight delay and charge you £55

Our flight was delayed by over 3 hours and due to the t&c had to pay £55 to be let out of the car park a bit extreme considering we only paid £20 for the 3 days charged 7 cars from our flight so making a fortune please do not book this car park as delays are not the customers fault

Smiles through the darkness and a bit of festive cheer.

We were held up at stanstead for 3 hours, arrived at Edinburgh tired, fed up and soooooo glad to be home……. Then we remembered our parking would be well over too…. So we get to the reception in the dark miserable as sin and we were greeted by two smiling faces in the dark, Graham and Andy from the nightshift, well they were lovely, very understanding and genuinely helpful and polite, when we next need to find parking at the airport we will definitely use here again.
Thanks guys you really did lighten the mood of an incredibly bad day.

Edinburgh PremiAir is risky

The car park is in a pretty poor state, no investment has been made to either mark spaces or provide signage.

On arrival there were about 3 available spaces, we got the last one. Dozens of cars were already parked on verges, many looked to have parked in a panic on any available spot.

The return pickup took 30+ minutes. Only one bus so the driver had probably gone for a sh*t, not sure what else might have caused such a delay!

There’s other choices at Edinburgh so I’ll go back to using them. Obviously it’s just a car park, but looking at the amount of verge parking there’s a genuine risk with PremiAir that you won’t get a space, which is a risk no one needs at 4am!!

I have booked parking with this company…

I have booked parking with this company before and had no problems however on this occasion I am completely dissatisfied with them I had booked parking with them for 5 days at a cost of£42 my flight was then cancelled and I sent an email to them informing them of the cancellation no reply another email was sent on returning to car park I was informed that I had to pay £110 in excess charges for 3 days the flight was cancelled due air traffic controllers strike and delay was through no fault of my own I feel this was excessive and would advise anyone against using premiair Edinburgh

Avoid this company at all costs.
We arrived ahead of time and followed the directions given on booking. On arrival (Sat Nav confirmed) we found traffic cones and barriers at the entrance. Another customer was driving out and told us the car park was closed. We drove further round and found a member of staff wearing a high vis jacket. We told him we had booked our car into NCP Premiair, he told us that car park was closed. He had no idea if the car park had relocated and couldn’t help any further.
We called the telephone number on the booking form but were not given an option to speak to anyone. We drove around Edinburgh airport and spoke with a mobile security team but they couldn’t help either. We tried another parking company nearby but they were full. We had no choice but to use the main airport parking.
We emailed the NCP before our flight informing them of the issues we had experienced. They said they were open and it was basically our fault for using the wrong car park and would not acknowledge any issues. They refused to refund our money and also refused compensation. They would not accept that having barriers at the entrance and a member of staff telling customers they were shut was a good enough reason to refund fees.
They suggested we complain to the British Carparking Authority.
We returned to the NCP car park when we arrived back in Edinburgh and found it still had barriers up and a sign saying no access to airport parking.
Total cost of alternative parking for 5 days was £170 plus the £30 for NCP so over £200.
This company’s attitude is appalling.

We used parking as a blue badge holder…

We used parking as a blue badge holder I noticed the was a disabled space available I asked reception if I could use it no problem I was told then parked my car waiting on the bus the same person who told me it was fine to park there approached me told me I would need to move from disabled space as they need it for mini bus I was also told if I hurry bus will wait and the woman wouldn’t give there name . If you’re disabled avoid

Absolute shambles

Absolute shambles
We arrived, car park had sign on stating full, we did manage to get in after pushing buzzer a couple of times as pre booked
Had to walk to their other car park to catch the bus,
Returned, got bus, dropped off at other car park and had to walk to car park 2 for our car.
Our car battery had died, hubby walked around to their office to borrow some jump leads, guy was unhelpful, no jump leads… 2 full car parks with hundreds of cars and they don’t have battery pack just in case…
No help offered, told to call AA,,,
I have asthma and mobility issues and not one worker came to help or even check on us despite it being late at night and minus 1
Thank god we were not a young family with babies or elderly and just left
Would never book again, secure air parks much better service

Don’t expect to get any refund if you…

Don’t expect to get any refund if you have to cancel. My car broke down and my confirmation email had no information how to cancel. No phone number or email. Would be so easy to add a link if the company was bothered at all.
I finally researched some general number for a company called enjoytravel that hadn’t been mentioned in the entire booking process. It isn’t a 24/7 helpline and parking doesn’t have any direct phoneline at all.
It said you need to call the help center to cancel. There was no response until 10 am. I was supposed to be called back but wasn’t. I was told I could sent an email only then and it turned out that it was too late now (by less than 2 hours) to cancel. First I was told it should have been 24h before beginning of booking, when I said I tried but no response it changed to midnight the day before. Phone lines wouldn’t have been open then either. A later chat was terminated by agent Nina E. who wasn’t accommodating.
All seems very customer unfriendly, not bothered to provide necessary information with booking confirmation or help. My complaint wasn’t addressed in any way. Waste of time and money. Won’t use again.

Was the cheapest but not the best far…

Was the cheapest but not the best far from it. Very little road markings and loads of potholes. When we can back had a long wait and he had whatI thought was a full bus. as he was dropping people back into the car park he was picking people up going to the airport it was standing room only and had when we reached our car we could hardly move the isles was jammed with people with cases and he was going to drive off again we had to tell him to stop, there where loads of people trying to get off. He should drop people of first before he collects his new customers. Will definetly not use again. Plus getting out was a problem no clear road markings.

AVOID deserves 0 STARS

The car park from start to finish was a disaster, pot holes everywhere

1. The bus took 25 minutes to pick up at 6:00am

2. On return the bus driver saw us and deliberately drove away with 2 on the bus at 11:00am

3. Waited 30 minutes for bus to come back (10 minutes they advertise joke)

4.Got on the bus driver didn't offer any help

5. This is were it gets interesting bus stopped we got off and the bus drove away, he didn't tell us that he dropped at other car parks and as he didn't announce the carpark we were literally dumped at wrong car park, meaning we had to trundle up the road and find our own way to the car park and find our car, this was horrendous as my husband has Parkinsons and struggles to walk to say I was angry is an under statement

Be prepared to walk!!

As mentioned by a number of reviewers basic service is good, barrier not working when we arrived as sign said car park was full but got help immediately via call button and got access as we were prebooked. That all said, same issue as we had 6 months ago when we last used this car park - bus service shocking. Time taken is no where near what is advertised. At 6.30am we waited for 15 mins and with no sense of any help or support had to walk to terminal to ensure we didn't miss our flight, which with large luggage wasn't easy and takes
15 mins at a quick pace. When passing bus stop at terminal still no sign of any bus! That's now 3rd time we've had to walk so we think we've given ample opportunity for improvement. Definetly won't use this service again.

DIY Parking !!

No proper Reception for checking in. Park your own car, then what!? I found someone to ask where I get the shuttle bus Bus to Airport & back ok, but apparently the bus serves THREE car parks and no one tells you which is which. So I got off at the wrong car park & couldn’t find car. I wouldn’t go back there!

Scammers

Turned up to the car park and there was a queue in, an NCP guy who worked at the carparks told us the area was overbooked and FULL!!!! i had to drive off and find alternative parking and almost missed my flight, submitted complaint on 5th and still nothing back , avoid they are a scam.

Was good at the start but not now…

When we returned to Edinburgh, around 20 of us had to wait for around 30mins for a bus to the carpark. It was -2C and there were some really small children too. When the bus arrived it was absolutely freezing and there was no heating on it. All the windows were steamed up or frozen so we had no idea when to get off as we couldn’t see the stop we were at.
