EDIT- my vehicle was not treated as a priority and had to arrive on recovery as it was not drivable due to the way it was sold to me. Yes there has been communication with countless delays and 3 weeks is not a timely manner to fix a car that is a ‘priority’
Purchased a car end of May, 2 months in oil leak took to mechanic who said he won’t touch it as the car was sold to me glued together and botched. (Worth mentioning I’ve heard from many other customers that they’ve also had awful outcomes and glued parts) they have had my car almost three weeks ‘repairing’ but delaying every time. Legally within 6 months I’ve had to give them a chance to fix within ‘timely manner’ however this is taking the piss with internal issues and delays and I hope they know I’m not leaving it like this. I’ve been told countless dates for collection and excuses with delays and other cars when my car was supposedly a priority. Never purchase from this garage do not recommend awful customer service, glued faulty cars and bad repairs.

We acknowledge that your vehicle is currently on site with ourselves. As the vehicle arrived with us via recovery, rather than through a pre-arranged workshop booking, it did not have a confirmed booking slot within our workshop scheduling system. Notwithstanding this, we have treated the vehicle as a priority and have continued to progress the necessary investigations and repairs as promptly as possible.
I can also see that we have remained in regular and ongoing communication with you via email since the vehicle was dropped off, providing updates as the repair has progressed. We are sorry that the timescales previously discussed have not been maintained. This is certainly not intentional, and we appreciate the inconvenience this has caused.
We have provided you with a further deadline for an update, and I can confirm that we will provide you with a full and final update on the position with your vehicle and the repair by the deadline agreed with you yesterday.
We appreciate your patience while we work to bring this matter to a conclusion and remain committed to resolving the outstanding issues with your vehicle as promptly as possible.

Avoid- premium prices with zero care and dangerous car defects
Viewed a Sportage at Prestige Cars Kent 03/04 (WV23)- appointment booked 5 days before and they called to confirm I’m attending the day before.
Arrived to find car is not prepped, front corner panel has had some damage with other scuffs/ dents on body. Wheel arch cover needed removing from damage.
Total disregard for wasting our time. We chose Prestige Cars based on reviews- paying a premium for substandard cars and service. Excuses given about lack of time to prep etc but happy to charge higher admin fee and only mentioning fuel fee on arrival.
They only offered to drop off the car after fixing all the issues. It needed mechanical work doing too and no trust in their “175 point” check so can’t accept delivery without checking.
An issue with the tracking or alignment was pointed out by my brother on the test drive. The salesperson tried to dismiss a dangerous tracking/alignment defect as "lane assist” which is a serious safety concern for a vehicle being sold to the public.
They charge a premium admin fee £249 for not even the bare minimum to prepare the car. As a travelling nurse I need a reliable car and thought Prestige Cars were a trustworthy business I’d be able to buy hassle free, there’s two of us out of pocket now after trusting their reviews and lack of transparency. All style over substance. Be sure to take a mechanic with you because unfortunately they’ll hide serious faults and take advantage of you
