Can't promote this company enough. I use them every month and have never had any sort of a negative experience, nicola is always happy to help and is very friendly I honestly wouldn't use any other company you really need to add an extra star so I can give a six

Thank you for this review from a cask sale in May 2025.
As we discussed at great length prior to auctioning your cask, many people were overcharged for casks by brokers and third parties and this is well documented across UK Media. Despite this, you decided to sell your cask and it met the mutually agreed reserve price which meant it was sold to highest bidder.
I am sorry that you feel you didn’t get the price you feel it was worth compared to what you initially paid but this isn’t something that PWA can control unfortunately.

I was winning several bottles, and all of a sudden auction closed and I lost some of them with no chance to bid again. Then the cost of shipping one bottle was overkill.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us this review - I am sorry that you felt this should be 1/5 stars.
Our auctions run for 7 days and closes from 8pm UK time and this is shown on our website, newsletters and all social media posts. The countdown on our website shows how long the auction has left and refreshes each time another bid is placed after 8pm.
I have checked our system and can see that there weren't any bids placed from your account over the course of the live auction so I am sorry that it closed before you were able to view and bid.
With regards to shipping, all the delivery costs are shown on our website and can be viewed at any time, particularly before bidding takes place. We also offer free storage for 60 days which I can see that you have used previously. This allows customers to combine the shipping of more than one auction.
