This was honestly one of our best days on Maui! Captain Justin was amazing as well as his crew! They were able to accommodate all skill levels with ease and made our entire party of 14 feel comfortable and welcomed. Lunch and drinks were amazing. And I can’t believe I’m saying this but that was the cleanest, nicest boat bathroom I have ever been in!

The crew was wonderful and cheerful. We were lucky to get some snorkeling in given that the tail end of the hurricane/tropical storm had just passed through. The swells were too high for a look at the sea turtles. Lunch and drinks were great and we were able to see some of the coastline and coves.

This tour was an unforgettable…
This tour was an unforgettable experience. It is just beautiful out there and the staff made it so much better. Justin, the captain, briefed about the tour in the beginning and everything went as per the plan. We did snorkeling at Molokini bay and at another stop as well for about an hour. The whole staff was very focused on everybody's safety throughout, specially when people were in the water.
I was amazed to know that they not only move the boat but also work as chefs and bartenders, and are good at it!
Food was great. Cookies from Sienna were delicious. Overall very good memories, will definitely do this again! And a big thank you!

You picked up on something most guests never notice: the same people running the boat and keeping an eye on everyone in the water are the ones cooking and pouring afterward. Molokini Crater plus a second stop makes for a full morning, and we're glad it stuck with you. Come back and see us!

Very fun and safe experience!
This was my and my 16 year old’s first time snorkeling. The crew, and especially the captain, made us feel extremely welcome and cared for. They were all kind and professional, and the captain has a great and funny personality! On top of that, the boat is absolutely beautiful! We had an incredible experience and recommend this excursion to anyone visiting Maui who likes to have fun, eat good food and see some beautiful sites in the ocean!

We loved our time aboard the Pride of Maui Elau (2 adults and older teenager). Safety, snorkel locations, clean and large bathrooms, service of the crew, members, delicious food and flowing drinks were top notch. Highly recommend.

What a great one to read, Mahalo! Our ʻElua crew puts real work into exactly the things you called out, and hearing that the snorkel spots and the food landed with all three of you means a lot (teenagers being a famously tough crowd). Come see us again next time you're on Maui.
UPSET
Really, you are asking for my rating after I ignore the first email...there was a reason why. I tried calling (no answer) and replied to a text message (got reply back saying it was a NO REPLY TEXTING number). I emailed because we missed the boat due to an accident on the fwy (out of our control) and to see if we could get partial refund. I did not expect to get a full refund. Just thinking about it makes my upset, because it was our last day on Maui and we were celebrating my husband birthday. It left a sour taste in my mouth. I will tell you that I will not (ever) book with you guys again...especially the amount of money that went (literally) down the toilet. If any of my friends and family ask, I will not recommend it.

Mahalo for taking the time to write this, and I'm sorry your husband's birthday ended the way it did. Missing a trip on your last day here is a rough way to close out a vacation.
For context: our crew spoke with you by phone before we left the dock, and we held the boat until 5:45 that evening, past our scheduled departure, and past the point that was fair to the guests already aboard who'd arrived on time for the sunset. Because departures are fixed and your seats were held and unavailable to anyone else, we're not able to refund a missed check-in, which is why we offered to move your booking to another date at no charge.
You're also right that our reminder texts come from a booking-system number that can't receive replies. That's something we can make clearer.
If you're ever back on Maui, we'd still like to get you out on the water. That reschedule offer doesn't expire.
I would not recommend
The boat was fantastic and the crew was nice.
The snorkeling was disappointing. We were taken to destinations that were 95% dead reef, which meant there was little to observe snorkeling. The food was also highly processed and not good. We paid a premium for this tour and it was not worth it.

We're sorry the snorkeling experience didn't meet your expectations. Ocean conditions and reef health can vary from site to site, and our captains choose snorkeling locations based on the safest and best available conditions that day.
We also wanted to clarify that our onboard meals are prepared fresh by our crew. Breakfast and lunch are made onboard, with fresh sides and house-made items prepared in our kitchen, so we're sorry to hear the menu wasn't to your taste. We appreciate you sharing your perspective and wish you all the best.

Five Stars from a Mom and Daughter!
We had an incredible experience with Pride of Maui on our snorkeling trip! From the moment we arrived, the crew made us feel welcome, safe, and well taken care of. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely seemed to enjoy making sure everyone had an amazing day.
My daughter and I had such a wonderful time together. The snorkeling locations were beautiful, with crystal-clear water and so much colorful marine life to see. The equipment was in great condition, the food was delicious, and the entire trip was organized from start to finish. We especially appreciated how attentive the crew was to guests of all experience levels, making everyone feel comfortable in the water.
This was one of the highlights of our trip to Maui and created memories that my daughter and I will cherish for years to come. We highly recommend Pride of Maui to anyone looking for a fun, relaxing, and unforgettable snorkeling adventure. Mahalo to the entire crew for such a special day!

This was a great snorkel tour experience. Our group of 7, including 4 teen boys, loved it. Snuba was an add on and they loved it. Do not miss!

Our experience was amazing , crew and captain was very polite, attentive and courtesy, boat is in excellent conditions, clean and beautiful.
Only little thing is the breakfast is to sweet for early time , can introduce others salty things like toast, white bread or some sauces or bacon, just suggestions.
