Primal Strength Avis 

From start to (almost) finish, Ali at Primal has been great. Working around our needs and amending our order when we wanted to add things on (go for the primal eco matting flooring, it’s well worth it!).
Shout out also to the delivery driver, we have access issues and even though he turned up in a larger vehicle he confidently said he was a professional driver and it was no problem.
We can’t wait to get our home gym finished and set up now.

Last week, I ordered a Primal Performance Series Curved Treadmill for my home gym. Before purchasing, I reached out to the team to better understand the equipment, and Ali T. provided outstanding support. He took the time to ensure the product was the right fit for my specific needs, offering honest, clear guidance on both the treadmill's capabilities and its limitations (e.g. no magnetic resistance). As a first-time customer, I was thoroughly impressed by the responsive and thoughtful service. Now that the treadmill has arrived, I found the setup to be straightforward, and the build quality is truly top-tier—it feels as solid as a tank. I've just purchased the Primal Personal Series Ultimate Half Rack With Lat Pulldown & Low Row from Primal Fitness, and I couldn't be happier! The quality of the equipment is outstanding—solid, heavy-duty, and the welding and painting are spot on. The included accessories and attachments add fantastic value for money, making the whole package even more impressive. Delivery was speedy, and I really appreciated the clear communication and flexibility in choosing a date that suited me.
The rack itself feels incredibly sturdy and safe, and the smooth pulleys make every workout a pleasure. The monolifts offer superb comfort and extra peace of mind during heavy lifts. Customer service was top-notch throughout; a special thanks to Gail Dyce for her prompt, helpful responses and ongoing support. I’ll definitely be shopping with Primal Fitness again and can wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking for quality gym equipment!

With an RRP stated as £9:99 it's just pure profiteering to be selling at £11:99.

I recently refurbished our home gym and chose Primal Strength equipment. This included Leg Press / Hack Squat machine , Quad curl/Ham curl machine , Pull Down rack , abs and weight benches and also a range of accessories and attachments .Iin total the order had a value of approx £3500 - £4000.

I will break my review down into 4 elements

1.Ease of ordering and communication on delivery

Web page is easy to use , descriptions are very clear , clarity of current stock and back order , ordering process , payment options and conformation of order was flawless.
After the order was placed there was clear communication and choice of receiving part delivery or waiting for all items to be delivered together. I opted for the latter and received everything in approx 2 weeks with updates on dispatch etc. So all satisfactory.

2.Quality of items and ease of assembly and ease of use.

Design and build quality on all items is outstanding. Assembly was pretty straightforward , all fasteners were supplied and set out on printed card to ensure correct fastener is selected , all parts present etc. Equipment is heavy gauge steel and very stable when assembled . Quality of coating is exceptional , nothing chipped during assembly . All components lined up and manufacturing tolerances are tight to ensure post assembly stability but no issues with fit up and build. Quality Control process during manufacture is obviously very good.
Instructions are clear - if you can do IKEA you won't have any issues with Primal Strength and what was good to see was that some potential mistakes that could be made were highlighted to ensure they did not happen.

3.Interface with Primal Strength and Customer Service.

The person we dealt with in Customer service was Jaz Lake and the quality of customer service and response was exceptional. Rapid response on a couple of queries we raised and always extremely polite and articulate.
One component for the Pull Down Rig was damaged in transit ( the sheet metal cowl that covers the weight stack) and response from Jaz included firstly an apology for the occurrence and then detailed information on what we needed to do with a link to the appropriate form to complete and how to resolve the issue using the process Primal Strength has in place.
Accidents and damage in transit will occur and it is the response from the company/supplier that defines customer satisfaction . Jaz Lake and the Primal Strength process exceeded my expectations.

4.Some suggestions I would make to Primal Strength

Whilst my overall experience with Primal Strength was extremely good there was an area for improvement I would suggest.

I am sure the the damage to the Pull Down Machine sheet metal cowl occurred while loading the item , I am 99% sure it happened late in the delivery chain , the loading for the final part of the delivery was loaded badly , pallet truck could not access the load so it was probably loaded with a forklift and whilst the other components were robust enough to withstand this , the sheet metal cowl was not . The packaging was damaged so whoever loaded the truck knew about the damage but did not say anything. The delivery driver highlighted the fact that she did not load the truck but was also clear that it had been badly loaded . I helped her to get the items off the pallet and onto the pallet truck . Some kind of follow up is needed by Primal Strength into this incident to ensure suitable standards are maintained with delivery subcontractors . The equipment got all the way from China without being damaged but could not get Aberdeen to Banchory without damage.

In summary my overall view of Primal Strength is very good - equipment works really well and looks very professional in our home gym - at the end of the day day this is the most important thing . Communication and interface is really good and the people we dealt with obviously care about what they do.

I will continue to buy from Primal Strength.

I’ve bought many things from Primal Strength and have never had any issues with them. I did have one instance where my last order was missing a box, but this was sorted out brilliantly by Gail Dyce. Her communication was amazing throughout, and she was very apologetic about the delays I had to deal with. She was extremely understanding, patient, and sympathetic.
