Totally disorganized

Totally disorganized, they had no idea what was going on, I got accused of being rude when he was so rude and asked me at 3pm if I had read the email they sent this morning. I told him if he could tell me what the email said as I hadn’t checked. He said he was just gonna remove my child if I wasn’t willing to do emails?! I see many people gave them a 1 star review! I see why

Pro football my ass

I signed up to a free trial off the back of my friend having her son here, and my son arrived late because the place was hard to find, I had to call a head office in Manchester where the head office is and the football pitch is in mitcham. Make it make sense the coaches have no direct numbers you can contact them on!
Children are locked up in a small pitch like cage and it just seems like their are to many kids to coach ratio, surely a coach cannot train that many children to go on to a real team having no 1-1 experience with any of them or any individuality, I observed for the best part of 10 minutes and knew instantly my son wasn’t taking part in this rubbish, no professionalism, just space and opportunity for children to kick a ball like what u can do in the park! No real skill development I could see would ever happen here as far as I’m concerned! I see they prey on people that don’t really know much about football mostly woman who are trying to get their sons into the sport due to the eagerness of their child wanting to play absolutely not me! My nephews all played in clubs and I know what real football training looks like and this ain’t it I would never waste £60 a month on something that would never advance my son or let him play in a match for real.

At the end of the session I had to walk to the coach and ask him about how it went and I was told you will get feedback on an email and a link to sign up for payment! Whatttt ridiculous generic email was sent talking about my son showed great ball mastery we arrived late so how did you pick that up in a matter of 20 minutes when my son didn’t even do much but fall over! This is rubbish I knew straight away I was then called by the Manchester office and asked if I am signing up and how everything went, and this just seems like a head office money making company because why are you calling parents, would Tesla or bmw call someone that just came to have a free test drive their cars sell themselve, if your as good as you say you are why chase the parents and offer free kits and free sessions again if Im unhappy never ever send your child here!

Absolute joke of a company

Absolute joke of a company. Robbing parents and chaotic coaching. This academy is a complete rip-off. They charged me a £58 "notice period" fee plus an extra £29 for sessions my son didn't even attend. They trap parents in automated billing cycles and take your money for services not rendered. My son already plays for a football club, and I brought him here specifically to develop his technical skills. Instead, it was a crowded, chaotic mess with absolutely no structure, no individual help, and nothing at all to help a player improve. They take on far too many kids at once, and the players just kick the ball around randomly like they are playing at a local park, which they could do for free.Worse, my son is 10 years old and they forced him to train alongside 5 and 6-year-old toddlers. This is a complete waste of time for a club player's development and a massive safety hazard. Other parents are leaving identical 1-star reviews every single week complaining about the exact same changing coaches and terrible organization. It is a systematic corporate cash-grab with zero care for real football progression. Save your money and find a proper local skills coach.

Don't know where they got the pro title…

Don't know where they got the pro title from, absolutely shocking from start to finish 🙄 took my 5 year old to the free session today, no knowledge to my child I had to approach the coach too tell them that my child is new starting his session. They said ok what's his name, & said yeah got him on the list told the children to go inside onto the pinch. Maybe 5 mintues later another coach had arrive no introduction, which would of been nice for the new starters was like my child was shoved in a corner with 4 other kids not one coach had knowledge the kids. was left to tackle a ball by themselves now towards the end for the last 9 mins is the first time I seen one of the coach watch them for like what 5 seconds if that they was more bothered with the x2 groups at the front / middle one off the coach *said im coming out ive had enough * now as the session had finished the second coach just said if your parents there then you can leave now that was just the icing on the cake no safeguarding they barely knew the kids names let alone whos parent was for each child they must of been at least 20 plus kids and two coach one was on his phone though out the session.. no where on earth am I signing my child up too that and paying £58 a month booked a session elsewhere

Really poor experience

Really poor experience, they call it pro academy training but it is not what so ever, its a club that introduces children to football who have never played before. But they state on there site that children get signed up and scouted, This is not true.
The coaches teach the children at 8 years old to throw the ball in when it goes out and at there age this should not be taught to them. My son is in the academy and he started to throw the ball in on a match and had to get taken to one side and asked why he was throwing the ball in, it just made him confused. They teach bad habits and do not train them properly, its a money maker more than a player maker. Please do not waste your time and do your homework before signing your child up.
If your child just wants a kick around and a run about then this is for you.

Since trying to cancel they have tried to take an extra months payment from me and said its 30days notice that I have to pay, its really poor.

Dont waste your money

We've decided not to enroll our son after an unproductive complimentary session. We observed a lack of professional oversight, with only two coaches for over 20 children, who mostly engaged in unstructured football kicking without clear objectives. Many children were left unsupervised, and both coaches were on their phones during the session. 📵👨‍👦‍👦⚽ #Coaching #Supervision #Football

There were large groups of children playing on a small pitch, and the coaching and supervision were not adequate. On 03/06/2026, this lack of proper supervision contributed to minor injuries. Some children were also playing incorrectly due to insufficient coaching and guidance. Improved supervision and better coaching would help ensure both safety and skill development.

Pro football!? More like poor football!…

Pro Football Academy was sold to us as being quality, individual coaching and well structured learning, but in reality it's a load of children chaotically kicking balls around. The introduction day had X2 coaches training and a head coach observing/welcoming people. It 'seemed' to be quite professional and well organised.
By the 2nd official session that we joined (they'd given us a complimentary free session for joining & cancelled another due to half term- so attended induction and x3 sessions in total), they went down from X2 coaches to only X1 coach with 16-18 children on the training pitch...
It was absolute chaos- no guidance, no structure, children even asking to do something else or doing their own thing. Certainly no individual coaching as advertised...the coach sporadically looked over at certain individuals during the mayhem and said 'good', or 'keep going'...
The children were clearly confused at the instructions that were given and bored of the tasks- the coach barely doing anything to 'actually' coach them and not enthusiastic in the slightest. Basically said to the group 'do this' did a quick, 5 second demo, then said 'now you do it'. Children were running into each other in all directions and getting irate whilst it was a free for all, smashing balls around everywhere and making their own rules up in their unsupervised mini games for the last 30 minutes (approx x6 children per x3 groups/ teams of x3 against x3- again, no thought process on age or abilities, just thrown together and told to play)
Nothing like what we'd expected from a 'pro' academy.
Children were also allowed to leave freely, without confirming who their parent/guardian was, which is incredibly concerning.
My child instantly came out saying 'I hate it- I don't want to go back'
On cancelling our subscription and complaining, I'm told that they usually have a ratio of 1:10/1:15 max, which is still mind-blowing.
You pay an additional £14 for cancellation fee- no offer for a refund for the remaining sessions, (despite complaining only 2 official paid sessions in) Just given a poor excuse that they will look into it, that they had not expected so many first trial attendees as well as subscribed kids attending that session and a confirmation that our subscription had been cancelled, but that our child can still attend practice up until the specific date! Shocking!
My child could learn more on how to do football skills at the park with me, and I have zero experience!
Definitely save your money and go elsewhere. Really isn't worth the hype they make it out to be and we certainly won't be wearing the free merch that they provide- money is clearly their main focus here!

Coach’s do not pay any attention to the kids at all. My son is 7 and he has some brilliant footy skills which were never noticed due to the coaches being on the phone or not paying attention. My son has gone into a team and is thriving, when I cancelled they wanted a payment of £43 even though we had 3 sessions left I had already paid for.

Absolute waste of time.

Absolute waste of time.

Attended a free trial with my 11 year old who wanted some extra training sessions for himself alongside his club sessions.

This was an absolute s**show to say the least of 48 kids showed up of various ages 5 through to 14 at a look. 2 Coaches. He is the first issue coach ratios should be 1:8 for younger kids and 1:10 for older kids not that alot of coaching happened largely because of the lack of coaching experience amd the amount of kids.

After spending 20 minutes of the hour sessions dividing up kids into very poorly aged teams older kids with younger kids they had basically a kick about you could do at your local playing field. (That te kids could have organised faster than the coaches) after 20 minutes of that they then did a short 3 on 3 drill which again took 10 minutes to organise before doing it and then some shots at goal for the older kids. But being 25 of them they got 2 shots each.

Recieved a join membership email saying what my boys strong points and area for improvement was... how they worked this out with 2 coaches watching 45 kids they've just met not knowing what there names are is beyond me total guess work on a generic email. Emails and texts that don't stop unless you block them very pushy.

It is nothing like it is sold to you on the website. No 1-1 guidance, no training, no qualified coaches, No acadamy vibe. Don't waste your money better of spending the £60 monthly fee that I was told by someone who goes everyweek on 2 x 1 on 1 sessions or paying £10 a session at your local development centre. Absolute Scam

Unorganised and unprofessional no structure no proper coaching, and no real support for the children. It felt like the focus is more on filling spaces than actually helping kids develop.
The coach was very rude and made an inappropriate comment towards my son in front of others which was upsetting and unacceptable.

Based on my experience I would not consider this a safe or supportive environment for children.

Slick marketing, poor company.

Went to a trial session, not very impressed, loads of kids, not enough staff, kids couldn’t hear what they were being asked to do, and instruction was poor, no correction instructions given when kids were getting things wrong. One child got hurt in a tackle during a mini game but the coaches were too busy talking to each other to notice.
I then received multiple emails, texts and finally a call asking if I wanted to sign up, offered discounts, free kit, all very sales oriented. Works out at about £15 a session, if you get to all of them, which we never would, if you manage 40 sessions a year that’s £17:50 a session. Join your local football team and get the same training for a fraction of the cost, use YouTube and take your kid to the park to practice, you don’t need these lot in your life. Avoid.

Avoid this place at all costs!

Avoid this place at all costs!
This people are the more irresponsible, rude, they don’t care at all about the customers or kids ! It’s all about money . After almost a year my son practiced in this academy quite ok because he love football despite we wasn’t too happy because the trainings are exactly the same , no improvement, no matches no motivation at all , when Winter weather started I just wanted to pause the membership and cancel it for couple of months , when I wanted to do this , nobody pick up the phone , nobody called me just by messages , same day I requested this “by message “ because I couldn’t find any another way, I received a info from my bank account where this people charged me 50£ in a day where is not even my agreement monthly payment day , nothing just because I requested this , no info no notice no call no one care , disgusting treatment , terrible after a year , bring more kids to them , it’s absolutely unacceptable , they took with no permission or notice or anything 50£ from my account. I’m looking forward to see what I will do with my solicitor because this is completely illegal . I’ll make sure in all social media and in all places possible to tell everyone about this treatment for everyone avoid this place . Until today I’m still waiting for someone give an explanation about this.

Went to view the Northampton session a week before we started.

I think this academy is all about…money

I think this academy is all about making money and not teaching kids football and tactics
Every time I was attending my son session I have only seen a crowd of kids whenever the ball was no position on field no tactics
No passing mind sets

No placing kids on the pitch due to what a coach will see the player is better for

To be honest he was better trained on his school session where I thought will be some mediocre learning comparing to a “Pro Football Academy”

Waste of money

The coaches show up there just to get their money into their pockets and that’s it

I know no all the kids are made for sports and football but is a shame that you are crushing some kids dreams for money

Ok if you just want an unstructured kick about

My son attended a free trial session with his local academy. Upon arrival the coach said what’s your name. Ok, over there. Then waved him onto the pitch. No introduction. Only two coaches for 18 kids but one coach was just joining in the football and messing about with the kids. The other coach was playing football also. Not at any point did the kids receive any ‘coaching’ or guidance. No drills. Just unstructured games. Coach or kids never spoke to my son once or said goodbye either. Very poor. I’d be fuming if I paid for this monthly. The quality of coaching is the worst I’ve seen. I don’t think they have the right to call themselves ‘pro’ or an academy. Neither are an accurate representation of what they advertise on the internet!
