Late delivery
The item arrived in two packages on consecutive days and Pro Marine cheerfully refunded my delivery charge. Otherwise, it's as I ordered and in good condition.

Hi Chris, so sorry for this frustrating situation. On looking into this, we have spoken to the courier to see what happened and it turns out there was a significant fire that broke out at the distribution centre where your items transited through- it has been on the news. This caused knock on effects for many customers in that their work was delayed for the best part of a day. This is the reason the two items got separated. Now that you have had this let down with the courier service you paid extra for, we would be more than happy to refund the cost to you as a way of apology. We will refund back onto the card you originally paid with, it will be with you shortly. Otherwise, we hope you have a great season on the water with the new motor

I think a good measure of a company's integrity is how fast the fix stuff when it goes wrong.
While the delivery was to some extent out of their control, and timed badly with easter, they have apologised and are refunding my express payment.
Shilt happens, Pro marine owned it and recovered nicely :-)

Hi Chris, I'm so sorry for this frustrating situation, we have reached out to you by email as there seems to have been a problem with the courier delivering to you so close to the bank holiday weekend. Unfortunately we have seen some overnight deliveries miss their dates as the couriers were inundated. However we have reached out with a resolution that I hope you are happy with.

Hi Goefrey, we have reached out to you to explain that not all Lewmar parts are kept on the shelf as they have a catalogue of over 13,000 parts. We go into this much more on our delivery page on the website in that sometimes there is a leadtime of around a week for these less sold parts as they are extracted from the warehouse by Lewmar. In the end, I see that we did manage to get the part to you, just not as quick as we had liked. Please accept our apologies but I hope we resolved your complaint as quickly as possible
