The delivery driver didn't wait for a…
The delivery driver didn't wait for a reply and just dropped it at the front door where it stayed for 2 days! All contents obviously all went off. Not everyone goes out every day. Especially when your retired. Money is tight too! Had the parcel been left at the back door where I've asked them to leave it, if I dont answer. I would have seen it the same day.
After speaking to customer services. There best offer was to give me a 25% discount. On a pention to lose the first lot of money on a stupid delivery driver leaving the item on the front step in blistering 30° heat was all the money I had for the month. Never did they offer any money back. Only spend more and we will then help you out a bit.
I will never order from them again. In my business, I f I'd had an old person tell me what I'd said. I'd of taken the hit and sent either a refund and got the money back from Yodel. Or still contacted Yodel about their drivers incompetence and sent a new batch of pasties. None of that was ever offered........
As you can see, they did reply to me just saying exactly the same thing when I complained.....
It's obviously an ai response letter, it's not a person or if it is the just click on a stencil and send!
Even after saying it was on the doorstep for 2 days before I went out and saw it. They still add, if id looked around an hour and complained....... HELLO! I TOLD YOU I DIDN'T FIND IT FOR 2 DAYS!!!!!
Anyway, as I said. Ill never buy from them again.... not all old people check emails all the time! I'm one of them. If I'd had a text, which is more helpful than email, I'd of known it was there. In my day that's all we had... phone calls and texts. But hey. Who gives a flying f@#k about old people now and if they can afford to eat when they order food for a month on-line. I'm just a number. Right? Customer service? You have plenty more. Why bother with complaints right????? Oh and if I didn't have to put a 1☆ I wouldn't have.

I do understand your frustration and I'm sorry you have been disappointed by this experience.
The delivery notifications sent by DPD are an important part of the delivery process, as they provide customers with updates, the estimated one-hour delivery timeslot, and confirmation once a parcel has been delivered. Unfortunately, there is no way for us to verify whether the driver knocked on arrival. However, the tracking shows the parcel was delivered within the timeslot provided and a delivery notification was issued.
I can also see that when you contacted us regarding this matter, it was the first notification we had received of any issue, more than 48 hours after the delivery had taken place. We do advise customers to notify us of any delivery concerns as soon as possible, ideally within an hour of delivery, so that we can investigate whilst the information remains available with the courier.
I appreciate your comments regarding your personal circumstances. However, as we were not made aware of the issue within a reasonable timeframe and the delivery was completed in line with the tracking information available to us, I am unable to offer a free replacement or refund in these circumstances.
Our offer as a gesture of goodwill still stands and we would be happy to offer a reshipment at a 25% reduction.

Frozen uncooked pasties
Frozen uncooked pasties, so you can cook them from frozen at home. Its the best way to get the real taste of Cornwall. These always taste as good as my memories of living in Cornwall. Always arrive still frozen and placed into the freezer, ready to be taken out, and cooked when i need the perfect pasty.

When I was a kid we all ways came to Cornwall for our holidays and right Proper pasties and cream teas and bought a load of boxes back of pasties with use. They remind me of myself when I was a kid again. So don't change 1 damn thing

We would like to reassure you that this is not the result of any cutbacks. Our pasties are made to a set recipe and ingredient ratio, with consistent portion sizes and fillings. We have not made any reductions to the meat content or product specification.
We have also not received similar feedback regarding a lack of meat content, and the majority of our customers are very happy with both the filling and flavour of our pasties.
That said, we appreciate that expectations and preferences can vary, and we're sorry that the product was not to your taste. We do value all feedback and will share your comments with our production team for review.

The pasties were almost thawed out on arrival, and that made them difficult to handle, without breaking them!
I found the pasties had little meat in them
and the jumbo sausage rolls were tasteless!
