I ended up getting the system but I did not like the fact that there were hidden fees and didn't get what it was promise over the phone.

This has been the worst experience, and one of the worst purchases of my entire 43 years! Little did I know that I could not cancel after three days. My system still does not work, no one can get to me until after the holiday and that started on Tuesday, it is now Thursday. People that work for ADT Try to make it seem like they are going to help you. They don’t. I would highly recommend finding a local service or go to Best Buy, Costco, Sam’s, anywhere but AT try to make it seem like they are going to help you. They don’t. However, ADT is sure to send you your bill for the month.

ADT is a well known and trustworthy company. Jerry, our installer was great. He came to our home for a consultation, sold us a system, and installed it the same day. He is polite, knowledgeable,and friendly. He always answers his phone when I have questions and comes back to my home if I need him to. I highly recommend him.

I have mixed views on ADT. I decided to get this service based on a coupon I received in the mail for $19.99 a month plus $800 worth of devices and upgrades. It came down to $59.95 a month or there abouts and I did not get the $800 package with video door bell because I do not have a -ground - phone line.
The technician showed up smelling of alcohol and failed to leave me any I formation regarding my system including yard and window signs or an signed agreement. Plus he left his notebook case here and never come back for it.
Disappointed is an understatement!!!

the financial part of my transaction was not truthful, I spent three times more than I was quoted, I was not happy at all with the way prices was quoted to me and then after instillation , was twice more, I did not like that payments was automatically taken out of my account .. quotes was too high given correct numbers after instillation

2 men arrived at my home at 8am, and said they weren't able to see my request for them to come close to 9am. During the install, the experienced installer didn't provide me with the costs upfront until after he installed my panel. Then he charged me for a key fob I didn't order. When I pointed this out, he said most people order the key fob he sold me, and he made a mistake. He said the payment was already completed, and to reverse it would take several phone calls, so I just agreed to pay for it.

I decided not to continue my service. Although my installer was very friendly and knowledgeable, he was not upfront about many of the cost. Several things had already been installed before I knew there was an associated cost. Then he did not bring a motion detector or a stand for the monitor that sat on the side of my bed. He said he would come back two days later to bring the equipment and uninstall the equipment he didn’t tell me had a cost. He never showed up or called. It’s a week later and I have not heard from him or ADT. I am frustrated to say the least. Customer Service is huge to me, so I am very disappointed to say the least. I think they have good security products, but need to be more upfront about EVERY associated cost.

They recommended only what I needed. Didn't try to push any extras. Everything went smoothly. Wonderful experience.

After the installation the technician found out that the signal wouldn’t reach the shop on our property. Once I knew that I changed my mind since the shop was the most crucial aspect to protect. I told him I would have them come back out once our house was done being built and the signal would reach. He went on to grumble and put his head in hands acting annoyed. I was so put off I didn’t say anything. He went on to disconnect the house and just protect the shop, but at the end a cord was going out the window because he was still having trouble with the signal. After a lot of time and money spent I canceled the transaction. I will not be using this service in the future.

I was told I’d get a ring door bell, the whole reason I wanted the system and two outside cameras. After the tech puts the wall monitor he tells me to get those 3 items it’s going to be an extra 299. To install what I was told I’d get free. I shouldn’t have to pay for it if it was promoted and promised to me. Now I have the type of system I don’t want, to me it’s worthless. I’m Wasting my money and time. ADT is a joke. I should’ve just got a camera system and done it myself for no monthly payment. Still might. I’m in my 90 days.

The service technician Eric came out did a fantastic job I got my house secure I recommend ADT all day long

I am new to having a security system in the house! I need to have a Technical Rep come out and answer a few questions about the system operation. It would help me a lot.

I was a bit confused a few days after installation when I received an email from the Funding Resolution Department. It took me 2 days and a couple of calls to straighten out the paper work. That was written up by the Technician
There also was confusion about the credit I was offered and how it was spent. I would have liked an itemization of how the credit was used. Just to insure that the $1,700 credit that I was offered was used.

I do have more of a peace of mind since the installation. I feel more protected.... Just last week a woman a few blocks away was robbed and had her car stolen at gun point in her home, in broad daylight! It’s a scary world at there! I’m happy I have ADT!

Initial experience with technician was excellent. However, I had to call to ask for a user guide, 2 weeks after installation the battery needs replacement, a question about billing was submitted immediately and is still unanswered. I’m concerned that the details after the sale and installation were not very important to ADT.

Worst company I could have ever chosen. Bait and switch from the get go. Everything go was promised over the phone, I was told by the technician was not true. I was told ‘I have to clean up these types of messes all the time.’ The technician was not able to install the equipment I discussed with the phone rep. I cancelled my contract and was still billed monthly charges to a credit card I did not authorize. I scheduled an appointment for uninstall of my equipment and a guy names John showed up and was very rude and condescending to me in my home, and ultimately informed me he would not be uninstalling the equipment because he was there to install a camera that was left on my living room floor by the technician.

They promised things that did not comply, at the time of installation they wanted to charge me everything. When I call to complain The answer was do you want the service or do not?
They did not help me solve the doubts.
