PT Academy Avis

Sofia Shamimi was an excellent coach, genuinely eager to help, great at checking in, and consistently motivating throughout. The course format worked perfectly alongside a full-time job, letting me work through it at my own pace, and Sofia was always able to pick up seamlessly from wherever we'd left off. Highly recommend.

Spoke to Jordan on the phone, extremely helpful. Definitely recommend

If you show even the slightest interest in this company's services, they will absolutely bombard you with solicitous texts and calls.

Quick and easy to onboard with. Cheers Tee.

Great experience fast and simple which makes me everybung go smoothley

The markers dont seem to have a clue. Ive had multiple questions correct the first attempt on both L2 and U3 which were marked wrong - referred - when i did get it correct. They no longer have a support email and its seemingly an AI chatbot which is very unhelpful.
They claim to have a 14 day marking period but you can wait over a month. Go elsewhere.

Spoke to Tee Isaac to get some more information about the different courses bundles provided at PT Academy. He took the time to discuss multiple options and helped choose the most suited one to myself. Nice straightforward process, would recommend to anyone.

Tee was great help, very easy to talk to and answered all questions I had

Great communication with courses easily connectable

Tee at PT Academy was great to deal with. Really knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and actually listened to what I needed. He’s also got a great personality and sense of humour, which made the whole experience even better.

Didn’t feel pushy at all, just helpful and straightforward. Answered all my questions and made everything simple. Proper 5-star service—would definitely recommend.

A very client focus and customer oriented company which truly is their to support their clients in need. I had a very helpful experience with the manager Anthony and I am extremely grateful for his pleasant support.
Thank you PT academy

Tee was amazing! He had all the answers I needed for any questions I asked, as I’m with a disability he comforted me with his confidence of completing the course I wanted to do compared to other companies. Could not have spoken to a kind and more genuine person over the phone.

Had Sofia helping me as my mentor and couldn't recommend her more. She was really easy to talk to and extremely helpful throughout my time with her. Great communication, knowledge and overall experience. Thank you Sofia!

My experience has been great! Sofia and I have been in touch throughout the whole process and great learning!

Really loved my level 2 gym instructor and level 3 Personal trainer course with mentor Sofia Shamimi. She was always available for questions and feedback and was very professional in her approach for my assessments, making me feel at ease. Really welcoming and reassuring!!! I'm now qualified!!! Thank you :)

I had an excellent experience with PT Academy while completing my Level 2 and Level 3 Personal Training qualifications. Sofia was outstanding throughout the entire process — her professionalism, knowledge, and support truly made a difference.

She guided me every step of the way, always making sure I understood everything clearly and felt confident in my abilities. Her approach is both encouraging and highly professional, which created the perfect environment to learn and grow.

I couldn’t be happier with my journey and feel proud to be qualified through PT Academy. Choosing them was one of the best decisions I could have made, and I highly recommend them to anyone looking to start or advance their career in fitness.

I wanted to leave a special message of gratitude to my amazing tutor Sofia! I couldn’t have asked for a better tutor and mentor on PT Academy’s Level 3 Personal Trainer course, which I have just successfully passed! She was truly exceptional from the first day right up until the end of the course. A supportive, empathetic and incredibly patient tutor who always went above and beyond.

Her knowledge is outstanding, and she explains things clearly and thoroughly, which made learning feel both engaging and enjoyable. Her availability beyond the scheduled course hours meant she was there to answer questions, offer guidance/corrections and encourage progress whenever I needed it. She was always able to alleviate any self-doubts I had during the course, which is why she’s such an incredible tutor!

Sofia’s supportive, mentoring approach helped me not just complete the course, but feel genuinely ready and empowered as a future personal trainer about to embark on a new career path. To put it simply: she’s pretty awesome! :)

I’d also like to say a special thank you to Anthony in head office who was really supportive during the course, shout out to Liam at the gym who was super helpful and last but not least(!) our online tutor David, who was absolutely brilliant. As I may not get the chance to write a separate review for David, I just want to say he is incredibly knowledgable and has a wealth of experience in the industry, spanning more than 20 years! He was supportive, patient and his lessons were excellent and taught to a very high standard!

If you’re thinking about becoming a personal trainer, you’d be in the best hands at PT Academy, go for it!

Great customer service helped talk through the course and went into detail about everything.

The process was very smooth and Mr Tee was very helpful and gave such good advice on the courses. He made the application process 100% easier. Thank you Mr Tee for you patient and encouraging service. I am really excited and looking forward to train with PT Academy.

I did the L2 and L3 for personal training through PTacademy. The courses are well organised, well supported and smooth to get through. When I signed up, my mentor, Sofia Shamimi, reached out super fast and introduced herself which was really helpful. She also helped a lot whenever I had questions about how to go about completing the course and any other difficulties I had. I had a few injuries and setbacks delaying my practical assessments and she was very understanding, and kept reaching out to ensure I was on top of things. She was very helpful with the practical, convincing me to do it in person rather than recording it, explaining to me the benefits of doing it in person and making it a stress-free experience. During the assessments, she was very welcoming and kind, and very clear with what needed to be done, and asked me a lot of questions, ensuring I had a solid understanding of the course content. She was very helpful regarding the workbooks when it came to marking and making any corrections, summarising where corrections need to be made and made it easy to understand why things needed to changed and what level of detail and theoretical understand I should have and show- it made learning easier and more enjoyable as it made me want to go back and get a deep understanding so I could fix my mistakes and give more in-depth solutions when needed. Overall she made it a very stress-free and smooth and enjoyable course and was a great mentor.
