So I recently signed up during their promotion "The Eternal Väinämöinen". Which is their new AI assistant.. Have to say its been working well and its almost fun just to put in a ticket to talk to Väinämöinen.
Kinda new at this, but so far my experience has been very good. While there was a few hiccups in the beginning, the value I receive from the service has definitely made it worth while.. The HDD is ok, but the SSD is definitely the plan to get.. Major perks is the bonus disk, the longer you stay the more disk space you receive!! Can't go wrong. Quite the fun for not a lot of money!!

Even if you only want to repair your ratio

Useless AI in ticket system that does not do anything. The service quality/price is horrible. Customer support is non existing. Never going to buy anything from this company.

Solid and honest work. When my old server node started struggling due to degraded hardware, the support team didn't use generic scripts. They provided a deeply technical analysis of the I/O bottleneck and immediately authorized a migration. Over 444 GB of data was securely transferred to a brand-new, fast node with lighttpd. The new server is incredibly stable, and all 502 errors are completely gone. Excellent service!

My first seedbox attempt, I picked the Eternal Väinämöinen plan because it advertised 10 TB upload traffic, 1 TB disk, and 1 GB RAM for €1.99/month.

The listing claimed a RAID5 HDD setup and a 10 Gbps network, which sounded solid for the price.

What I actually experienced

Storage bottleneck: with the RAID5 HDD array, I consistently hit I/O limits under load, making it hard to sustain more than one fast torrent reliably.

Variable speeds: you might see brief bursts of decent speed, but sustained performance never matched the advertised network capacity; I/O contention often throttled transfers.

Overall feel: the node tends to feel overloaded and frequently clogged, which affects reliability for multiple concurrent torrents.

---Pros---

- Very affordable entry price.
- AI support was unexpectedly helpful and responsive.

---Cons---

- Cannot reliably sustain more than one (maybe 2 if the node is not loaded at the moment) fast torrents; transfers get throttled and limited by disk I/O, not the advertised 10 Gbps NIC.

---Bottom line---

If you want to test things out like me, or you're after the lowest price and only sporadically seed a single torrent, it might work.

For serious use, I’d look for better I/O performance or a plan with SSDs or a higher I/O priority.

PS: I think 2* was not fair, 4* is better taking into consideration the price.

I was told the truth and Cie admitted issue has been on their side. Speed slowliness or stop s had been beautifully addressed to my satisfaction. Really good experience. Cheers.

I wasn't able to log into my seedbox on borealis for some reason. They responded back very quickly. They identified my problem and it took time to solve it but it worked. Very happy with all the correspondence explaining it all even though I'm not much of a techie.

very few issues in all that time, and prompt fixes when service was interrupted.

Rock solid performance, exactly as specified. Minimal downtime, and fast reponse when there are the problems (only a few over the last 10 years!).

These guys are absolute morons. I bought the product on their site, they said I was committing fraud and didn’t offer that service. Total morons.

Ive been with pulsed media over 4 years now and I have had great service with timely responses and assistance whenever technical issues came up. Im pretty happy with them.

I have been a customer for many years, although I don’t remember exactly since when. That’s not important to me — I don’t count the years, and I have no intention of looking for another provider.
A lot has changed in the world, but the price of the package I chose has stayed the same for years. For the price of two cinema tickets, I think it’s unbeatable.
I’m not a technical expert and I don’t really understand how everything works. Unfortunately, I had a problem with the server twice, but both times my issue was solved quickly.
The second time, Aleski helped me step by step. I’d like to thank him here as well!
Highly recommended.

For the most part there decent but if you go too much over your allotted data they will disable your account even if you just renewed your 3 year service and wont give you any kind of refund or credit towards upgrading your plan to something more appropriate for your data usage

Good prices but support has always been a bit, well shall we say... curt. Liking very much its new Väinämöinen AI agent, though, which may transform my experience!
