Service has lots of persistent annoying bugs, but don’t cause any major harm. Hosting is fine.

I've had a phenomenal experience with both their Game Hosting and VPS services.
The performance is really good, better than anything else for that price that I could find.

I ran into a minor issue with their panel. But out of nowhere, they reached out to ask me if there is anything they could improve with their service. I told them about my issue and it was fixed within two days. Absolutely incredible!

I can only recommend them. The VPS is fantastic, I've been having a lot of fun messing around with that and the Game Server worked really well for me. It had 200+ Minecraft mods with 10 or so people online with no issues.

The only issue I have is that I feel like the Game Server panel has gotten a little bit too loaded with functions/features over time.
Which I personally really enjoy, but I feel like it could be a bit overwhelming for beginners.
Maybe there could be a "Simple" and an "Advanced" mode for the Game Server Panel.

Overall 5-Stars, the only criticism I have is that it has too many features and I think that speaks for itself.

Responses to tickets are very fast and helpful. No problems with the services provided either.

Pyro is one of the best hosting services I've ever used in huge part due to its customer service. They helped me get an old random game working on their servers and were able to get it working almost instantly and work with me to figure out how to get it set up. Have had extremely pleasant experiences navigating their game dashboard and the price of their servers is extremely competitive.

Yall are the best, seriously. I'd pay for your team's dinner at a fancy restaurant if I could. Two times I've asked yall for help and two times you have delivered WAY more than I had expected. If there is a heaven, I will personally fistfight god to ensure you all get a place there.

The price for what we wanted is pretty damn good compared to what I used to buy, The server we bought runs quite well and is easy as heck to set up!

Their admin panel is has been much easier to use than what I've seen on other hosting services. The server has been incredibly stable despite the complexities of modern 300 mod packs.

The servers are amazing, and the customer support is very good. I’m from New Zealand, so having Oceania servers is really important to me, and they were the only provider I found that offered them. I had an issue at the start of my plan, which was my fault, but after I contacted support, they got back to me within two days, fixed the problem, and credited my account. The panel is easy to navigate and very intuitive. I would highly recommend them. Definitely worth the price.

Heya just wanted to let everybody know about the new, nowadays experience which Pyro gives.
Pyro was heavily screwed over in the past and despite this they did not give up, they rebuilt, they remade what was took and they reintroduced amazing hardware.

If you want to know how good the CPS is, on Vanilla, without C2ME so only 1 main threat, it's 120cps using chunky, 70 is considered amazing.
With Lithosphere it's 50 CPS, still amazing considering how hefty that world generation can be.
Servers start in 11 seconds with mods, a decrease from what i've seen in the past, which is normally 25 seconds to start up a server with mods.

So, I had an issue, I contacted staff and they responded in 2 minutes, an actual, genuine response to my ticket which was open, it was also very quick to check stuff out on my server.

The only issue Pyro currently has is that Pyrodactyl is still being worked on, it's not polished and it doesn't have every QOL, despite this it's still a great experience to use all of it's unique gimmicks to aid in server development.

So just, when you're checking ratings if you've read all this, remember that Pyro does have issues but Hardware wise and Support wise it's great, hell they even offer to transfer servers and optimize modpacks.
An incredibly talented team, hated by one incident which was not their fault, I would recommend looking into it as you'll find the full story I'm sure.

Went above and beyond for updating and handling ddos protection and the setup of our VPS. Definetly not stuff that was expected of them they just went the extra mile to put in that effort.

Servers are fine I guess and prices are meh. Terrible customer service and refund policy. Cancelled my server within 12 hours of ordering it and they want to just credit my account when I literally explained the reason for the cancellation is I have a good enough dedicated server in my home already. “To maintain a consistent experience for everyone on the platform” seems like a consistently bad one. Also horrible SFTP, dropped connection every few seconds I literally had to install my whole 326 mod server through the panel 🤢

Tried to order a server, was blocked by maxmind.. when I made a ticket I got no reply after a week.

Wouldn't recommend if support is important to you.

I've been looking for a new Minecraft server host ever since the one I used prior went under. Not only does Pyro offer an interface that lets you edit every aspect of your server without restriction, it's a very user-friendly experience as well. Their hardware also eliminates a plethora of performance issues entirely; having less to worry about is never a complaint in my books!

The staff are extremely helpful, and went to great lengths to ensure my server migration experience was as smooth as possible. Give Pyro a shot with your next Minecraft server hosting experience! :D

Very good server, but sadly the customer service is a bit slow and not very helpful when it comes to complex things.

within 2 hours (after support hours, when they are NOT obligated to respond to tickets AT ALL btw) they split my 10GB 8vCore game server into two 4GB 4vCore ones, credited me the diffiffrence AND unused time on the 10GB game server.
10/10 host, HIGHLY recommend. I use Pyro for ANYTHING publicly facing, or that is recommended to not be hosted on local hardware in my homelab.

I bought a server from them and had a tough time trying to get things setup via modrinth. I submitted a ticket with them trying to find where to set this up. They then added the button. They offered to set it up for me included in cost however I stated I wanted to do this on my own. When I reached out asking why the setup tool installed the client version I was left alone for 3 and half days. I had to reach back out to them many times to finally get an answer. I had asked if they be willing to give me a refund since I never really used the serviced that was offered. They said that "Your outside of the seven day refund window." When telling them I requested it within the windows they then changed course and it was not that and it was "considered on a case-by-case basis and are at our sole discretion." Which seemed unprofessional. I do not recommend them in their current state. They need to grow more before they make sense for a server owner.
