Queenofspecs Avis 

After researching the Internet for hours for gold rimmed half moon spectacles I found exactly what I wanted on Queenofspecs website.
I placed my order online which was an easy process.
I laterr received a telephone call from the owner as I had forgotten to attach my prescription requirements.
I explained I required the spectacles with plain lenses for my Santa events.
My order arrived a few days later which was well packaged.
I'm absolutely delighted with the quality and service and highly recommend Queenofspecs.

Specs are just what I need and they arrived in reasonable time

I came across Queen of Specs at the vintage market on the promenade. A pair of lovely specs caught my eye and tried them on. They were a good fit and was reasonably priced. Steph advised that they could fit prescription lenses and all the frames were sustainably sourced. The service I received from Steph and her father was excellent from the beginning and Steph kindly delivered my glasses to my doorstep. I am really happy to have found and supported a local independent business.

I came across Queen of Specs at Cheltenham Vintage Market and found a lovely pair of vintage Vienna Line frames, having searched for a pair in various opticians and not found anything I liked. The frames are in perfect condition, they were adjusted to fit me and fitted with new prescription lenses. Lovely friendly service and great communication - would recommend!

my frame broke, and the large multiple didn't have the frame ( the prescription lenses were fine and they were zeiss so I didn't really want to change them £££)

As an optometrist I asked around for this discontinued frame and it wasn't in any of the stores, it was 2 or so years since it was discontinued. But these guys had it, cheaper than the multiples and delivered it Rapidly

Pros:

Cons (as an International Buyer):
- Damaged glasses upon arrival: Regrettably, my order arrived with noticeable damage to the lenses, including black marks. I recommend implementing more robust packaging to prevent issues during longer transit. However, despite the damage, the glasses remain wearable.

I searched high and low for these glasses and could I only locate these one of a glasses in stock at your store. They are beautiful! I had previously had these glasses years ago but they broke and I couldn’t find them anywhere. I am so thankful to have these glasses again!!!!

Got the glasses I wanted and a nice little chocolate to. Nicely presented.

I still haven’t received my frames. It’s been almost a month now.

I am over-the-moon happy with my purchase -- from initial contact with the owner, Steph, who defines "customer service" to the selection of frames offered at Queen of Specs, to Royal Mail that put our USPS to shame by the efficiency of its delivery of my frames (about one week, passing through Customs and all). If unique, fashion-forward, or retro are your style, you're sure to find something of interest at Queen of Specs. My frames arrived in excellent condition, two complete with cases and cleaning cloth, and a couple of extras from the shop owner, including several, individually wrapped pieces of chocolate as an extra treat and an extra cleaning cloth. Her prices are very fair, so give her a try and help her business grow. We need more ethical sellers like Steph in the marketplace! Start to finish, this experience with Queen of Specs has been an A+!!! See something you like? Do not hesitate. I wish I had the budget to buy another frame or two. My frames are even more interesting up close than online -- and I liked what I saw online! If you choose Queen of Specs, hopefully, you will be as happy as I am!!!
