stupid online queuer

this is stupid. i was told that about had about 1 hour left in the queue until it was my turn. i waited 6 hours just to be told it’s out of stock. the worst part is that people were logging on and grabbing the ps5 with only waiting 5 or 10 mins in the queue. You really need to fix this. It’s not really a queue if it lets people randomly join ahead of you. my and my 7 friends all had this problem. we waited on game from 9am until 3pm to get the ps5 but we never got to the end of the queue because new queuers joined causing us to be put back at the begging of the queue. you as a company should rethink the name of your company from queue-it to queue scam

Queue-It software fails Covid19 vaccine appointment.

Was put in a queue for a covid19 vaccine appointment. After waiting I was randomly allotted a low number in a queue of many thousands (for slightly more than 1,000 available appointments). Instead of being redirected to the appointment website, my assigned number was "rejected" and I was kicked out of the queue. It appears that as many as 50% of the queue members suffered a similar technical issue. I have no idea why the hand-off from Queue-It failed, but that should not be my concern. That should be the concern of Queue-It, who I expect is getting paid to make sure these hand-offs work smoothly.

Queued up for an hour and a half then…

Queued up for an hour and a half then pressed the checkout on completion and then was logged out of the website same thing happened to my friend

Broken system

First issue: Doesn't alert you when you've reached the top of the queue. Why not ask for permission to send notifications, or highlight the browser tab? Very frustrating when you've been in a queue of 100,000 people! Do you expect us to just stare at the tab all day long?

Second issue: Randomly puts you back in the queue. I managed to get through to the website I was waiting for, then one minute later when I was ready to check out I had to rejoin the queue!

Regarding the first issue: our product can ask for permission to send notifications, or highlight the browser tab. However, not all browsers support this functionality, and the configuration of these notifications is controlled by the website owner.

Upålideligt og dermed med i praksis ubrugeligt system

Smides af køen når det er ens tur. Nothing more. nothing less.

Som så mange andre her har opleves bliver man smidt af køen når det er ens tur. Da jeg omsider kunne komme til (efter dong lyd) og jeg forsøger at klikke mig videre får jeg blot denne besked:

"Kønummeret er ikke længere gyldigt
Kønumre er gyldige i 10 minutter, men dit er ikke længere gyldigt. Klik på knappen for at få et nyt nummer".

Hvorefter ens eneste mulighed er at starte forfra. Detaljeret besked.

"Du gik i kø 07.12.2020 13.08.43. Det var din tur 07.12.2020 14.02.00 og dit kø-nummer var gyldigt til 07.12.2020 14.12.00. Klik på knappen nedenfor for at få en ny plads sidst i køen."

Derudover er det estimerede tidspunkt for hvornår man kan forvente at logge på end ikke i nærheden af at være i tråd med virkeligheden. Da jeg startede min tur i køen fik jeg oplyst 10 minutter. Der gik så over en time med det resultat at man blot bliver smidt af.

avoid shopping if you get a virtual queue. Queue-it minutes are virtual (and no resemblance to real time)

the timings are so wrong, queue with an estimate of 5 minutes, but gave up after 30 mins. Every time I see Queue-it instead of the shopping website I despair. You sit there after a couple of minutes being told your wait time is a minute, but never getting there. At least if you were honest at the start, I'd find something else to do. My online shopping could wait. Its the false expectations which are so annoying.

The speed of the queue is controlled by the website owner, who can decide to increase or decrease the wait time for technical reasons. This means that estimated time of arrival can fluctuate. If queue speed is increased, the estimated time of arrival goes down. When queue speed decreases, then the estimated time of arrival tends to increase.

Utter trash service

Utter trash service. I can only imagine that customers using this service, are either being bribed, blackmailed or suffering from extreme ignorance. I've seen this crappy queue site being used with many providers lately and half the time, when you finally get to the front of the queue, you get an error;

"There has been an error, and your queue number has been rejected. We have reported the issue, and apologize for any inconvenience. Unfortunately, you will need to click the button below to get a new place at the end of the queue."

Your service has ONE JOB to get right and you fail at it over and over again. You do not deserve to be in business.

bad customer experience

The problem is actually more in the design of the systems needing to use this service (e.g. thefa.com). But my "experience" is that it is rubbish. Sorry queue-it, I'm sure you work in some places, but to queue indefinitely for football admin tasks and then to be randomly kicked-off the site and re-queued is an awful user experience.

Piece of advice for e-commerce sites looking to use this service

This should never, ever be used for an e-commerce site. I will 100% go to another website to buy my things elsewhere. Rather, pay for more server capacity and the cost will be well made-up for in paying customers who aren’t forced to wait for this trash service that doesn’t even work. It will make your brand look cheap and old fashioned.

Generally, ecommerce sites use our product during high-demand events to prevent website overload, often as a complimentary service to scaling. Queue-it acts as a safety net that constantly monitors website and app traffic levels, activating the queue only when traffic exceeds the thresholds the site has configured.

Remove this trash third party software from your site or we will all go somewhere else!

What a single brain called idea to have a queuing system on a website! This just shows that large companies are so close to going under when they can’t afford the low scalable costs to increase their server capacity appropriately (Iaas, Saas) and they cheap out on some terrible, poorly implemented pointless third party trashy software idea! The sales people at queue it must have been on a mission to sign up these retailers! I hope they aren’t in a long contract! From now on I’m going to stop using retailers that use this terrible system, and go somewhere else! Please remove this trash from your website!

Worst system ever

Worst system ever! I went from a wait time of “less than a minute” to 18 minutes in about 20 seconds. The times seem completely random..I honestly think they’re made up. Disregard the waiting time listed and be prepared for incredible frustration. GARBAGE!!!!

Thredbo used this system and it was…

Thredbo used this system and it was awful. The system crashed then logged me out and I got put to the back of the line. Another 12hour wait and its 4.40am in the morning here in Canberra got another 10min till I'm back in.
A family member also logged onto the Queue-It system to book Thredbo lift passes and he was in the queue after me my number in line was 5488 and he was 5952 yet he got in 15minutes before me? how does that work. Don't use this system very frustrating from a customer that is still waiting to book my ski tickets.
Sorry now telling me Ive got another 18min till I'm back in.

Coronavirus Shopping

Online stores using this dreadful service to try and make the websites seem as though they’re busy when in reality they have very little customers actually on them.

Forms are not saved due to meaningless errors

Forms are not saved. Forms cannot be submitted. Javascript validation of form fields is incompatible with form filling addons and extensions. I have manually entered the same form data 15 times today. Always an error. Never a meaningful explanation. Terrible software that belongs in the 1990s.
