Worst car company ever. Purchased a car 6 weeks ago they never registered the warranty even after chasing numerous times and now have gone into liquidation and the car has a very expensive fault!

Steer well clear of these people, travelled 3hrs to collect range rover car not even cleaned so had to wait, after 3 weeks bad vibration on steering wheel and engine light on, found out front wheel nuts were only hand tight wheel nuts missing & EGR valve needed replacing, eventually warranty covered EGR Valve, now DPF filter has disintegrated causing more damage to EGR valve, still sitting on my drive with engine light on not getting any response from Quirks so now going through finance company to resolve or return car. & do not take out the extra warranty as these people are a joke did not want to know about anything once they paid for the EGR, when i had the diagnostic completed independantly from a high performace car dealership found another 6 fault codes previously deleted. Your choice, worse decision i ever made.

Not a good experience

Avoid dealing with salesman pete!! Failed to describe scratch down the side of the car. Happy to take £500 deposit and refused to refund it to pressure me into buying the car. Avoided my messages and calls for 2 months and only got my deposit returned after talking with the owner

I purchased a Porsche Panamera 4S on 5 March for £39,000, and unfortunately my experience has been very disappointing.

Before buying, I spoke to Chris over the phone, and he sent me a video assuring me that the car was in excellent condition. I then travelled six hours for a round trip to view it. As I arrived late at the showroom, I was only able to inspect the exterior and interior and could not take the car for a test drive. Based on what I saw and what I had been told, I decided to proceed with the purchase and paid an additional fee to have the car delivered to Nottingham.

However, problems began immediately upon delivery:

The car was supplied with only one key, which had not been disclosed at any point prior to purchase. When I raised this with Chris, he agreed to contribute £200 towards the cost of obtaining a replacement key, but this information should have been made clear from the outset.
The automatic start/stop system is not functioning. I took the car to a local Porsche specialist, who identified that the PCM system appears to have been tampered with, possibly by a previous owner. As a result, the issue may be difficult or even impossible to fix.
I reported this fault to Chris and showed him the issue via a video call. However, he dismissed the concern by referring to a generic Google search suggesting that the issue could be a common software glitch.
When I requested to return the car due to these undisclosed faults, the dealership refused. They stated that the issue was the responsibility of Porsche and not theirs.
In addition, I later discovered that the front left tyre was below the legal limit, which required me to replace both front tyres within 15 days of purchasing the vehicle.

Overall, I feel that I was misled. I was assured that all necessary checks had been carried out before the car was listed for sale, but this does not appear to have been the case.

I have evidence to support all of the above and would strongly advise others to exercise caution when dealing with this company.

I bought an Audi Etron from Quirks. From the first time I called to enquire about the car, I got a good feel for them as a company. I was nervous as I haven't bought a used car for more than 15 years as I have bought new from main dealers, but Peter was great to deal with and put me at ease, so much so that I travelled all the way from Sheffield to Essex to collect the car. The guys at Quirks collected me from the train station and the transaction was very smooth with no issues at all. The car is great and we would buy from them again. Thank you Peter and the team!

I had a very positive experience buying my car from this garage. All of the sales team were friendly, professional, and very efficient, making the whole process quick and stress-free. The car itself is excellent and exactly as described, with no issues at all. They even arranged delivery of the car straight to my home, which was a great added convenience. I would highly recommend this garage.

Dominic was extremely helpful. Being in Birmingham, he sent us a few videos to give a comprehensive view of the car we were interested in. He also provided us with a decent PX value for my Seat Ibiza. He kept communicating with us through the week to sort a finance package that suited our budget. When we came to pick up the car, it was all ready with new brake pads and tyres in. Drove it away within an hour.

Excellent service and communication from start to finish, highly recommended.

Purchased a Volvo XC40 a couple of weeks ago and the overall experience was very good. From the initial enquiry to collecting the car a week later was a smooth transition. Peter was my point of contact from start to finish and was a pleasure to deal with. Following the test drive, he wasn't constantly calling and putting pressure on me to make a decision. The price given for the part exchange of my V90 was fair (more than offered by others) and he undertook the small amount of work required on the XC40 which we identified in the initial inspection. On collection, the vehicle had been fully valeted and cleaned. When looking into the extended warranty, Dominic did some additional research and found that it would be more cost effective for me to do so with Volvo directly, which was nice to see that they were putting the customer first. The only slight issue was the original key had been misplaced, but this was forwarded on to me securely once located. The car drives nicely and wouldn't have any hesitation in recommending the dealership to others or buying from them again.
