Lovely designs on dresses but I have to…

Lovely designs on dresses but I have to admit that the quality and thickness of the dresses weren't what I was expecting from an award winning premium brand, especially as the price of the items are extortionate. The material was quite thin. Will still buy from them but would never pay full price, I would only purchase sale price items.

Excellent

Very happy with the service, shipping time, and quality. I bought a cardigan with custom monogram for a friend's daughter, with next day delivery. The cardigan was monogrammed on the same day and received the day after! Highly recommended. My friend also loved the gift.

Don't trust the listings - horrendous customer service

I bought a children's cot duvet cover on 27 November and was sent several emails saying I would receive it within 5-7 business days. 9 business days later after receiving no further communication I emailed to follow up, and received no response. I had to email saying I was worried my money was taken fraudulently to get a response, only to be told it would be another 2-3 weeks before the package would get to me. 2 days later I was emailed to say the item was out of stock. Horrendous customer service and experience.

Don’t buy from this company

Spent a lot of money buying dresses for my daughter for a wedding and had to pay delivery costs on top. No returns label included so tried to get hold of someone to ask how to proceed. After several attempts, got through to someone on the phone who was helpful but advised I had to return at my own expense. It’s now over a month since I returned the item (sent tracked) and there’s been no acknowledgement of the return and no refund given to date. I am more than £160 out of pocket and unable to get hold of anyone. Getting the voice mail again.

I bought a coat in the Summer

I bought a coat in the Summer. My daughter wore it 2 or 3 times and the snap came off. The coat closes only by small snaps, and the way that it was made the snap cant get sewn back. So I have no use from the coat.

Totally appalling service!

Totally appalling service!! Ordered a small child’s birthday present with next day delivery…didn’t notify me until the evening that ‘next day’ delivery doesn’t mean that on a Friday (even though they took my money!………only comment when I phoned was ‘sorry’ and ‘I will give your feedback to customer services’. Premium product with sub standard service!

Mystery bag- stay away from it

Mystery bag

So, I saw the reviews on the RR site for a girls mystery bag, 4.7. Great right?

My partner and I love almost every item from Rachel Riley so it didn’t seem like a gamble. We got a vest of some sort (I didn’t think they did vests), a shirt and probably one of the most awful dresses they ever made. £59! I feel like I’ve been mugged! Stay well away from the mystery bag.

Disappointing! Won't use this site again

Disappointed with baby girls ivory scalloped dress and overpriced. No return labels so additional cost as well as delivery costs. I won't use this sight again someone trading on their name need to consider service improvements to meet customer needs

Thought I was buying a British-made…

Thought I was buying a British-made dress for my granddaughter, not one made in China. I feel severely taken in. Not enough reviews to check up on before I purchased so thought I'd take a chance. Only bought from the company as it implies British made. I suppose it’s my fault for not ringing the company up to ask. Suppose they are using clever advertising information to make it seem like British made.the garment appears good enough I just wanted to buy British manufacturing. Purchaser beware.

Poor service, decent clothing (ish)

Bought a dress and the quality is decent. Not worth £120 but still. Regardless it didnt fit and annoyingly the company doesnt offer free returns so make sure you factor that in. Online stores should always have this and if i’d realised this I wouldnt have purchased.

Check to see if they have repaid you!

I chose Rachel Riley as I knew that the royal children had worn items from her clothing range, and her website says that they are quality products. Furthermore, this was a treat for my niece's children, and I knew that she was unlikely to be familiar with the brand.
I chose two sale items - significant as you yourself have half the time to return them if necessary - and paid the postage to my home address. One item was super, but the other had two areas of stitching on the front which wasn't straight; I might have overlooked this if I hadn't still been paying a considerable sum. I know this can happen and can be missed by quality control. I re-packaged both items straight away and went to the post office, one going off to my niece and the other back to Rachel Riley. I paid '1st class signed for' for both items, including a note to Rachel Riley about how I loved one item, but, unfortunately the 2nd wasn't of the quality I had hoped for.
I allowed for two days for receipt and then 14 days came and went. No acknowledgement of receipt or refund to my credit card account. Finally 24 days later I contacted them, but as it is only an answerphone at the weekend, I received an email two days later to say that my account had been refunded and I replied to a missed call. The lady herself was very pleasant and said that she had called me. She said she did not know why my account had not been credited as it had been received as I had said and communicated to the team for payment. It was only when I said that I am very disappointed that no apology was given either in the email, or by her, that she offered one. I stated that, unfortunately, this would be the first and last time I purchased from Rachel Riley.
My refund has, as yet, to show on my account so I hope this is the last of the matter. I played by their rules - to return sale items within seven and not 14 days - but they need to think about their full-time, hard-working customers too.
