Radfords pie company Avis 

I have not tried the pies I ordered the reason for the 3*review is because they will not answer a email. My order was delivered in a week all correct so why the bad score. The delivery company didn't even bother to knock on the door. My box sat on my doorstep for 2 hours, I only knew it was there because a neighbour caught someone going to pinch it. I have emailed the company 3 times and not got a response. I will not order another pie from this company.

Im giving them 5 stars. Ive only placed my order today. Radfords have said the delivery time will be three weeks. So im not expecting them to be here for tgree weeks. Good grief, what do people want. Some complaining of too salty. Salt brings out the taste. I will update my review when they arrive and haearen them.

We were not at home when our pie order was delivered & even though I had requested notification of a delivery date on my original order.
We were not informed of a delivery date for our pie order even though Radford Pie Company said an email had been sent to me but when I asked for a copy of the email the company ignored me!

Pies are very nice. We were given 2 pies by family member. My husband had the steak and I had chicken.
Husband says, very moist, nicely seasoned.
I had chicken pie, pastry was lovely, chicken breast lovely but the white jelly substance put me off a little.
Would buy some but given reviews I'm concerned they may not turn up.

Placed an order for nearly £80 but no product received. Ordered steak pies for Christmas but now going to have to find another supplier at short notice and out of pocket. Will be going to trading standards as this is theft. NOT HAPPY

The best pies I have had,I know you have to wait two weeks,you just have to remember to order early,I just hope they do not put the price up to make them unaffordable.When I did have to contact them they came back by email the next day.

I have to say the best pies I’ve eaten , I used to swear by M&S , I tried two different ingredients and what a treat, full packed with meat and the pastry to die for,
No gristle full of tender pieces of meat, definitely be buying from them in the future,
I’ve told friends and family about these delicious pies

Although took a long time for delivery every pie we have ordered and eaten has been exceptional! Jam packed is really true of all fillings and the pastry melts in your mouth. Definately will order again but far in advance of need and they cook well after being frozen as well as fresh. Top notch pies!

Best pies I’ve ever had I will be ordering again.

Can anybody help as we cannot get in touch with radfords. I ordered 3 different orders 2 for my daughters and I for myself 2 have arrived but still waiting for 1 to arrive.. I have tried and tried the email to no effect. I am £45 out of pocket. Are they going to pocket the money. With no delivery. HELP??

Made a special trip from Preston to try the pies. The shop was busy with only one lady serving who was complaining that there were too many customers, she didn’t have time to put more pies in the oven!
She said she wasn’t a Radford and didn’t get to have 18 holidays a year!!!
We tried the peppered steak and steak and Stilton. The pies were indeed lovely and well filled but could hardly taste or see any stilton, a bit disappointing.
Asked if they had any unbaked pies to take home but was given a forceful NO, we don’t do them.
Bought a meat and potato to reheat today, hope they reheat well……….

We came from north yorkshire to try Radford pies and I must admit they are the best pies ever,full of meat,pastery just melts in your mouth , 5stars keep up the good work,and will be back in to take some home with us up .

Quality, Quality, Quality, without doubt, the best pies I have ever eaten, and I have eaten a lot of pies, my wife has ordered them twice, and from here on they will be the only pies we buy

Great pies, lovely filling and well cooked. Pastry exceptional. Customer services were great but needed to be - first delivery list as courier tried delivery to wrong house before returning to depot, replacement worse given very, very precise instructions that courier ignored in full. Small car chase to catch him and his little white van up. He claims our house didn't exist which was a surprise given that I've lived there 25 years ! Would buy again BUT pick the pies up in person

Most of these pies will cost you over £3 each now and the quality of fillings are horrible.
Radford pies from Lancashire are top quality fillings and all pies are full to the crust.

Really didn’t want to give a 1 star. This company have the worst customer service. After numerous emails regarding a missing order for my elderly mom disgraceful quick enough to take the money. You should be ashamed Radfords perhaps less time on social media and more time in your company

This company is so poorly run, we spend on average £100 per order and recently the Quality is poor, the gravy / sauce is like gloop and not very appetising, we had 5 Pies damaged and even after 4 Emails to rectify not 1 reply, I guess its hard to find the time whilst on your 18th Holiday in 20 months, well I won't be helping to fund the 19th, we're done with this lot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Genuine and honest review coming from a food enthusiast. Pies arrived on time and safely in a good cool box, no issue with arrival at all. However we found the pie fillings to be really, really OVER powering with salt!! Especially the mince meat and steak, we also found the apple pie filling not very sweet at all and very bland in flavour. Sorry we wont be re ordering anytime soon.

Absolutely love Radfords pies. Full to the brim with meat/chicken with tasty gravy. Pastry is crisp and delicious. Took about 2 weeks to deliver but their website does state this. They are wrapped bubble wrap and delivered chilled in a polystyrene box. I just wish I could give them back to boxes to use again, but I guess this isn’t cost effective. The best pies I’ve ever eaten!! Thank you Radfords.
