Rafting New Zealand Avis 

Had the absolute best time! Everything was so organised and structured. Such a good river for someone who has never done white water rafting before. We had Evan as our guide and he was an absolute blessing and the best!! Would definitely recommend this and having Evan as you’re instructor!!

Our family of five had an amazing time. Kids, aged 4,7 and 10, loved it and want to go back. We stayed warm with all of the gear supplied and would definitely recommend Rafting New Zealand.

Great river expedition. It was fun and safe. Really enjoyable. The guide was knowledgeable about local Maori legends and the wildlife of the river.

What a fantastic rafting/fishing trip on the Whakapapa with Jesse. You access parts of the river that only a raft can get to especially when the river is flowing at 9 cumecs. Jesse is a very skilled raftsman and guide. The Whakapapa has always been a big fish river for me with fish that fight very hard. It certainly didn’t disappoint.

My husband chose this as his birthday present and he was rapt in the whole experience. Hek was an awesome guide, right down to his Dad jokes. Never having done this before I found it really exciting bouncing down the Rapids but also never felt in any danger. 2 hours of river travel went so fast. We did the trip under Covid level 2 and the team did a great job doing everything to keep bubbles safe. Well done everyone. We are in our 60s and I would recommend this trip to all age groups.

We had the most awesome experience ever. Jess was brilliant we always felt safe and yet we had a really exciting time on the river. Jess’s local knowledge was excellent. We got some great photos of our rafting the rapids and the whole day was a memory to treasure.

Fantastic - the whole experience was great! Very organized team. Trip was amazing, great scenery, and great fun. Both my husband and I, and our kids (10 and 12 years) had an amazing time - both down the rapids and jumping off the cliff. Would highly recommend.

We took our four teenage children on this trip (13, 14 and 2x 16). It was a great 1st rafting trip to do. Definitely nothing too challenging. Left us all wanting to do more. All the staff were lovely from start to finish. The stories on the bus up to the river were great. Highly recommended as a first trip on the water.

We had a wonderful experience with the family rafting trip. We were with our two boys 5 & 7 and the staff couldn't have been any more organized, professional friendly and reassuring.

The issuing of gear was very slick and they had excellent range of sizing from small sizing o extra tall. The hot chocolate and chocolate fish stop midway and the hotdog and drink at the end were great extras.

I would definitely recommend and we can't wait till the boys are 10 to go on longer trips:)

We did the morning run with Gabe. Friendly & professional right from sign in. Good equipment, great info on local history even on the drive out (from Jessie),awesome fun rapids & Gabe has the best dad jokes. Highly recommend for first timers or if you have rafted else where.

This is the best adventure to do as a family. Exciting, fun but also felt pretty safe the whole trip. Gabe was fantastic and our raft was full of laughter. Highly recommend to all.

We did the level 2 Family rafting experience as it was the first time for our 8 and 10 yr old. We all loved it, an 1.5 hr with plenty of rapids ensured excitement for the kids and ourselves. Jess, our guide, was very responsible, knowledgeable (also on the wildlife in the beautiful river!) and made the trip very memorable. Can't wait to get them to the Level 3 in a cpl years!

It was an amazing experience, from the point of booking to the end of the rafting. Fantastic service, very friendly and helpful staff, great organisation and planning and brilliant facilities. My kids loved it and we shall be there agin very soon!!

We had a flipping good Time. Staff knew their stuff and did it effectively. Staff knew the name of all the rapids and the local history. It was great to have hot chocolate and chocolate fish on the river.

Awesome wicked day out!!! We loved every minute of it. The whole adventure and the guides were awesome! So much fun would 100% be back in a heartbeat.
