I went to the Akron OH location when i…

I went to the Akron OH location when i was recently visiting family near there. They were all great!. My goal was to try a bunch of different pistols before i purchase one. Each of the associates at the rental counter were great in helping me decide which ones to shoot. Also a shout out to Miss Sunday there she super helped me on my first visit and made we want to go back. I wish there was a facility here in the Tucson area....

Never Again

Place was better before new management. Took my son there which I have done on numerous occasions. It's an expensive place to go but there are few options near us. Today they told me that my son couldn't shoot there because he lives in Illinois and isn't 21 years old yet and doesn't have an Illinois FOID card. I live in and went to a facility in Indiana. There is NO LAW that restricts my son from using a firearm in Indiana. I have no idea how this protects them. My previous visit I was by myself and had some cheap ammo that was failing to eject, failing to battery on both my pistols. The RO came up to me and said the last guy that shot himself was having the same issue. Told him I have been shooting before he was even born and said the guy that shot himself must have been an idiot. I was doing nothing wrong and am very versed in firearm safety. I was tempted to never go there again. Today's visit solidified that fact. Now I will never go back regardless because they discriminate against people based on where they live and employ dolts for ROs. Pathetic.

The place seemed like a good place to…

The place seemed like a good place to shoot pistols but range prices are stupid high. Anyway i paid for first time waiver fee and after 2hr shooting my throat was dry so I opened a sealed water bottle I brought with me and the RO kid threatened to kick me out. I joked with him and said OK cause he could have thought it could have been vodka or something. He said I couldn't drink anything because of lead ingestion??? If 60yrs gun smoke exposure would kill me I'd be dead already. Ain't never going back...what a bunch of pussies!

First off the old man who helped me…

First off the old man who helped me couldn’t even do his job correctly. I come in to purchase a firearm he messed up by selling it to me right away instead of the 72 hour period. So now Sal or whatever his name is comes over to try to help the gentleman he was great at first. But as I’m leaving I’m not even given a receipt I came with someone else who also purchased a firearm and was given a receipt and pick up time. We go back I talk to Sal because I’m assuming he must be more knowledgeable but when I walk up to speak with him he acts like he has an issue with me getting a receipt for something I paid in FULL for I didn’t purchase some freaking ammo this is hundreds of dollars of my hard earned money he just gives me the receipt after waiting for about 5 minutes. No eye contact nothing not sure what his issue might’ve been but I work in customer service been doing so for 5+ years and it’s safe to say I won’t ever be back. When this place was shoot point blank I loved it and purchased multiple firearms new management turned this place to sh.t. The guys that work here are just the worst. I couldn’t even leave the parking lot before writing this review.

Horrible service

Horrible service! I went to buy an AR15 package bundle with 2 extra clips and a case that was on sale in Mokena, Illinois. I was told they were in stock. When I got there, the same day they said they were sold out. So, the salesman told me that the Shorewood location had them in stock so to purchase it online and pick it up in 3 days. So while in the store, that day, I purchased the gun online. Three days go by, I call the store and they told me they have the gun but the cases are back ordered. I asked if I can pickup the gun and get case at later date, he told me no. It has to be all together and they will call me. A couple of weeks goes by and nothing. In the mean time, Illinois changes the law on AR15 and my order got canceled. They never called me to tell me that the order was canceled or how to get my refund. I called to see what was going on and if I was locked in since I purchased it before the ban and the salesmen told me no. They never contacted me about a refund or status or anything. I drove to the store to talk to a rude manager in Shorewood, IL who processed my return and told me to check my account in a couple of days for a refund. The service ,staff and communication is horrible at RANGE USA!!

Nice but expensive

Very clean and well organized store. Ranges are well-kept, well lit, and supervised by a range officer. Premium service comes at a premium price, however. Everything in the store is much more expensive than can be found elsewhere. Firearms are way overpriced. For example, a Ruger EC9s can usually be had brand new for around $270. At Range USA, a USED one is priced at $309.

I have never had an issue with an employee, and they all seem pleasant to deal with. Be aware that anyone 18 or older must have a state ID in order to shoot on the range, even if they are a child of person shooting. This is not a state or federal mandate, it is something Range USA has come up with on their own and is enforced without exception. Also, be aware that your ID will be scanned for any purchase or range visit.

My take on it, and it's only my opinion, is that Range USA is a business run by business men, not by firearm enthusiasts, and as such, they have found a niche in the firearms community where they can cater to people who are less familiar with firearms; everything is attractive and accessible, but you are going to pay an "ignorance surcharge" for everything there, and you are going to dance to their tune concerning their rules.

Shoot at their range if you want. It's tough to find a better indoor range. But, when it comes to purchases, do your homework first and save yourself some money by shopping elsewhere.

They Just DONT CARE

My dad and I have been shooting there for years. Have never bought my own gun so i Took advantage of their Black Friday deals and purchased 2 firearms (GLOCK and a TARUS). Took their basic online class about firearms. Paid for a membership. Submitted all my info including drivers license. I walk in to the store in Cincinnati and they really made me feel like an idiot for trying to buy a gun with a Florida DL but their online class said nothing and I had given them all my info so I assumed there was an exception. NO. So then I find out on my own you can ship it to a FFL dealer so I DID. I placed the order on 11/28 and they didn’t process the order until 11/30. By then I changed my billing zip code and they canceled the Tarus. I chatted back and forth and they just didn’t care. I assumed the GLOCK was okay but just found out today 12 days later that it TOO was canceled. Still charged my card. I reached out to their customer service and its a flat out ZERO. I reached out to Florida Gun Exchage which is where it was supposed to go and they said they would have reached out to me first to correct any mistakes on billing.

Placed and online order for a part /…

Placed and online order for a part / tool. After a week of hearing nothing from them, I contacted support to inquire on the status. They replied there was a problem in shipping, and the order would need to be re-shipped. Days go by, I hear nothing. I reply to the email(s). Nothing. I call in, and am promised a call back. Nothing. Now another week has gone by. I call in, and they, once again, promise to get back to me later today. This is my first time dealing with this company, and will be my last, as I'm not getting paid to help them troubleshoot their order processing system, and they appear to have no concern about resolving the issue. Glad I paid via credit card, or I'd likely be out my payment.

Recent visit to Range USA North…

Recent visit to Range USA North Richland Hills, TX will be my last.
Received an email on bulk ammo sales so thought I would swing in and purchase a box or two. Upon arriving at the check out counter the cashier asked for my drivers license. l thought ...standard operating proceedure to ensure only legal age buyers can purchase (I am almost 60 so I think it was obvious I was). Anyway, before I could say anything, the cashier flipped over my license and scanned the code on the back.
I asked why do you need to scan the back of my drivers license? He replied to get you in the system. REALLY! What system? I already got an email about the ammo sale so obviously I am in the system. He even mentioned that is a good price. I told him, I got an email and thought so as welI. I was also paying with cash so, to verify I was the same as the person using a credit card was not a factor.
He did not ask if I was already in the system or if I wanted to receive info, sales, etc and give me the opportunity to say no. Again what system are you putting me in?
Never have I been ask to show a drivers license when purchasing ammo unless it is to verify the name matches the credit card and it is my mug that is on the drivers license.

Decided to go check out range usa

Decided to go check out range usa. To my dispare it was just your run of the mill weapons..nothing to look at. Small range. Staff couldn't answer basic gun questions poor customer service. Don't waste your time. Go to fletchers. Family owned and actually has knowledge on the gun community. Stay away
