Rapid Health Avis 

I work in a gp surgery and this new government system is just awful.
I feel so sorry for the older patients who may not have smartphones or the Internet. To go through all those questions when they call is absurd.
The waiting time to get through to speak to us has gone up as we try to help the patients not able to do it online.
I could have made 10 appointments in the time it takes to go through the questions with them.
Awful awful system. So robotic and the care and help has totally gone out the
window.

This is the most absurd, time wasting and dr - gatekeeping system ever imagined. Impossible to get an appointment, end up going round in circles with the poor receptionists that have had to use such a system. I don’t often feel sorry for drs receptionists but on this occasion I do as they must have to listen to so many complaints. For some reason the NHS is deliberately being destroyed to the point that we will be asking for private healthcare. Systems like this are helping to put the final nails in the coffin

If I could give no stars I would. I have used this system twice and each time it was completely frustrating! The last time I was offered an appointment I couldn’t make with an option of 2 staff I didn’t know! Not sure they’re even GPs. I had to ring the surgery (1.5 hours wait) and was told I had to accept the appointment and then ring in to rearrange it! That meant going through the whole triage system again. No way is this quicker or easier or patient friendly. I guess it saves surgeries money on employing receptionists. Definitely not a positive experience.

Awful awful system! I have no idea how software so bad can be raking in NHS money like it is. It attempts to lead you through endless questions just to be able to speak to a doctor. Many questions don't offer a relevant answer and nothing allows you to add text for context. And no indication of how safe our data is either!

Terrible. I have had a painful shoulder problem for around nine months, which is slowly getting (significantly) worse and I can't even get an appointment to see my GP!

Since my GP practice has switched to Rapidhealth, it has become a nightmare. The reason it claims that it has got better for the practice is because patients can no longer get appointments, go in loops, and eventually get an email on a lottery system. The practice was already bad and not it is worse. 8 months and I cannot get an appointment!

My local GP practice, as announced on their website, have just taken on this outfit. So I clicked on the link. At first I thought it might be some kind of a joke - or worse.
The first things you are asked when you request a 'service' via this link are (a) are you having a heart attack? and (b) are you about to commit suicide?
I have neither of these. I just wanted to make an appointment.
But next it asks you to describe your symptoms. Excuse me! but I'm only prepared to do that with my doctor or with their receptionist.
I have a suspicion that this is a scam, devised to harvest patients' medical data for commercial purposes. We've seen plenty of that.
Avoid at all costs! And if your GP takes them on, ask them to dump them forthwith.
