We bought the hand held radios for our harvesting crew and these radios worked all the way from Texas to North Dakota and I could hear our crew from home base in North East Nebraska! Plus the warranty on these radios is very good! We haven’t had any issues at all with these radios! Very good product for the price!!!!

I first purchased two radios. They worked excellent in the USA. We too a trip to Europe which included a transatlancic cruise. We paid the additional fee and used the abroad. They worked flawless Im Spain, Morocco, Bermudas and in the ship. I ordered two more radios before we made it home. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Rapid Radios are wonderful! My wife and I work from home at opposite ends of the house we used to use either GMRS or even FRS to communicate breaks and lunches and short chit-chat throughout the day. Even when using privacy codes GMRS/FRS is vulnerable to anyone with a radio or scanner who can listen in.
Rapid Radios use AES-256 military-grade end-to-end encryption with no data storage, only direct audio streams, which means it’s extremely difficult and unlikely for eavesdroppers due to strong encryption.
I have one in my truck and surprisingly the sound clarity is superb. Coming home from a road trip, I noticed the USB plug had wires exposed. All it took was an email on my way home and before I arrived, Patsy had already emailed me an invoice for $5.99 which I paid and expect to receive my new power chord in a few days. I highly recommend Rapid Radios to anyone who values private communications and stellar service!

We just purchased a 6th Rapid Radio, the new R1 model. We had a technical question and sent an email. We received a 100% helpful response within 5 minutes. ALL these radios are great and we have used them Internationally. No gaps, and now we have one that even works on WiFi! Great engineering and support!! - Jon M.

Rapid Radios has an excellent customer support department. One of the radios we ordered wasn't working correctly, and they replaced it for free. Every email is answered quickly, and they are always so nice! I really appreciate them

We live on a ranch with spotty celluar service. My Husband works on a ranch about 45 minutes away also in a very remote area. We tried many celluar services and different phones over the past decade but nothing worked. Our cell phones were unreliable. Rapid Radio bypasses the towers that are down or not working and allows us to talk from ranch to ranch like we are in the same room! We love our Rapid Radios and the Peace of Mind we have using them.

Ya know, these days, customer service as a whole has turned to shit. HOWEVER, the folks at RAPID RADIO are TOP NOTCH! Let me just say that goes a LONG way in my book!
Problem or no problem they are SUPER quick to reply to emails, each and every time, and just as quick to take care of what ever you contacted them for. I think it took a whole 6 minutes from the time i pushed send to the time I got a reply saying all was done. They changed the names on our 4 radios that quick. This was the second time we changed the names at that and there was zero issues with that request.
I really dont get why many are so upset over the yearly charge. You get service for a whole YEAR for that PLUS you get a business that has one of the TOP customer service reps there for you every single day,365. Any questions, any guidance, ANYTHING they are there…to my family and I…thats priceless! We got them in case of any more Hurricanes as we were all in different locations in Florida, last year we couldnt power up our phones that were dead. These will be a lifesaver should that happen again. And nothing is better than peace of mind! In the mean time, I am sure we will use them for all kinds of things.
My only suggestion, Rapid..is to come out with some TINY gadget to secure to a part of the talkie that isnt seen or wont be removable that will track the things if they are lost…food for thought!

Got them when my daughter went off to college. Love the clarity of talking to her 500 miles away. Just ordered another one for three total as we are all traveling to different places. Love the piece of mind it brings us if anything happens.

Update- rapid radio just shipped a new radio to replace the broken radio, so far rapid radio has stood behind their product in today's world I find that to be amazing!!! They deserve 5 stars

Bought 2 of the LTE models at the first of the year 2025. Have tested them and used them with great success. Customer service has been top notch from day 1. If you can't read that they have an annual fee, not a monthly fee, maybe you should pay better attention to detail. NOTHING IS FREE!!!!
I hope that people have as much of a positive experience as I have had with this company... THANKS for a great product & always wonderful customer service.... I just ordered a base unit and the new R1 radio last week(Late Oct./2025) & I am excited about receiving them and putting them into good use.... Keep up the good work!!!!!

Well I ordered the new R1 radio with some other things. My order said it would ship on 03 Nov 2025. I have only received 1 Email from them to cofirm my order. I called and they said it would be late. 11 days now and counting. I will update this when RECIEVE MY ORDER.

I spoke with customer service today 19 Nov. 2025.... I still did not get a ship date. They could not give me one either. I am not saying anything derogatory about these radios. Better planning might have to happen to make sure that customers get what they order in a timely fashion. I just want what I paid for in a reasonable time frame.
I like the radios I have, As I said before... Let's get this backlog squared away, so I receive my equipment... I have been very patient, and hopefully I'll get them soon....... If it goes past 10 more days I may change my mind about this order. You all have my contact info already, so I will not be sending it to you again....
Update #3:
I got an email from customer service and they told me that the warehouse shipped my order today 19 Nov 2025..... I was told that I would receive an e-mail with shipping details. I have received a tracking number. So I'll be waiting with baited breath.... If I get my order in the next ten days I'll update this again.....
UPDATE #4:
Well got the radios today 21 Nov. 2025 and can't wait to test them long range.
I will be using them over the Thanksgiving holiday. They came set up and ready to go.
Beside the delay in shipping I am very pleased with my purchase. Customer service actually came through on this one. Now get some xtra batteries for the R1 made!!!! Keep up the good fight Y'all.

We bought two Rapid Radio’s and then decided to buy two more because my father-in-law who is in his 80s goes up to the mountains for the summer and we wanted to be in contact with him when my husband got up there in Colorado the radio did not work. We contacted Rapid Radio’s and they said that that is the only area just a small area that the radio wouldn’t work we asked for a refund and he said he would send us information and never did we wasted several hundred dollars and are very disappointed.

I bought three radios for myself and my two sons. This radio has been used to check in at home in Texas. The radios have been to Colorado, Utah, New Mexico, Montana, California, Florida and many places in between. They’ve been used while on hunting trips and vacations. It’s awesome that we can check in with each other when cell service isn’t available. At a time when customer service isn’t always what it should be. I’ve been impressed with the service we received from the team at rapid radios.
