Long story ended well
When we received the ReadyWalker the box was pretty badly beaten up. When the package was opened the cane unfolded and immediately came apart (Some assembly required? NO ). When I contacted the company the agent who responded was very helpful and asked for a photo. I sent a one of the cane in pieces next to the crushed box. I shortly received a response assuring me that a replacement would be shipped. We received two packages that appeared to be identical and both somewhat battered. We opened one and it extended without damage. From what I could see through the torn wrapping, the other package was the same thing in a slightly differently printed box. I alerted the company, telling them the cane we opened was fine and we had received a duplicate. I also pointed out that sturdier packaging might protect the shipment a little better. The agent who responded told us to keep the extra cane. Everyone involved was extremely helpful.

My husband Carlos likes the cane.
The only thing it oftens falls down, and batteries fall out. I tell my husband DO NOT try to pu batteties.. He broke his hip 1 year ago trying to pu something on the floor. 16 months of learning how to walk again. ( has had 3 smaill strokes and 1 stroke in 2023? Right arm/leg compromised.

It did not fit my height of 5’ 1”.
It did not fit my height of 5’ 1”. Too tall to use safely. Not adjustable enough. Not in the product description that it may not be a good choice for those 5’ 4” and under. I tried to use it 2weeks outside of the refund window. They would not give me my money back. Very disappointing experience.

Terrible customer service
I use this cane for a few weeks and cover for the battery compartment fell off and I could not locate it. I contacted the company and they said sorry but they wouldn’t do anything about it. I would not this came for this company. There are others out there who will stand behind their product

The handle …
I especially liked the handle that helps you get up . It is helpful. The light is bright (takes 3 batteries)and the alarm is loud for security.
The material could be better but it works,
I wish it had a notch lower as I am short. But I am o.k. with this walking stick,

We purchased a cane for post surgical…
We purchased a cane for post surgical hip replacement. Sturdy and generally stands on its own. However, our old house , that is not level can cause it to tip if not situated properly. But, the nite light is invaluable for night trips as needed. The cane fell and the battery door latch broke. Customer service responded immediately after I notified them. I sent a pic of the broken door. They immediately have ordered a new cane to be sent to replace the one we have. No need to return the broken one. Efficient and responsive service. Would order again if needed.

PRO: Height adjustable. Extra handle to assist with standing up.
CON: The foot/base is very small and does not really give confident support/stability. Because the base is small, it causes the cane to easily fall over when not being used.
When attempting to stand, the cane easily tips. Light on handle (on off switch) seems to be in a bad location; easily turns on while walking.
Although, I am keeping it, too much of hassle to return. I do not recommend. Item currently sitting in corner of our dining room unused.

Excellent product with many practical applications and features!
Excellent product with many practical features. I am very confident of not falling when using it. My balance has improved significantly since using it. I love the handle that helps me get up from a sitting position. The only product improvement I would suggest if the bottom legs could be adjusted in case the floor is not perfectly level to keep it from falling over. My walker fell over a couple of times and I broke the wires on my light. You have to make sure is very stable after using or it could topple over.

Nice features and value for the money.
Got this for my 84 year old mother who is going through some temporary health issues. I love the alarm feature. She pushes it in the night so I know she is getting up to go to the bathroom. She is on the first floor and I'm staying on the 2nd floor and have no problem hearing it.

The Good and Not-so-Good of my new Cane
I like the feel of the cane, and how it grips the ground. That said, even though I am only 5' 10" tall, the cane is still a bit short for me, even at the tallest setting. Also, I'm disappointed in that when I set it down, vertically, it often falls down anyway. I didn't think it was supposed to.
