What a great and very helpful company. Although in the end due to curcumstances at my accomodation I didn't actually purchase a scooter they did everything possible to make things as easy as possible. We met the staff of Redlands Mobility at the Swallowfield Show, They loaned my wife who had just been released from Hospital after a major operation a Scooter for the two days that we were at the Show.
They were most helpfull and we decided that this is the company that we would purchase our Mobility Scooter from, many thanks for all their help and understanding.
1 star only because they came out to repair my mobility scooter said it had a warped break disc took it away for repair 7 days later i got it back it still makes the same squealing metal noise from the wheel presumably it still has a warped break disc as it still makes the same metallic squeeling noise and it's worse now then it was when it went away so i'm going to call them round again for this repair which is under warranty and hopefully this time they will actualy do the repair instead of sending it back broken this time. I'm not getting my hopes up though. Edit they came around to see it and said don't worry about the noise it's normal lol. Which of course it isn't because if it was normal it would have done it from the start which it didn't. Also just recently the repaired the speed dial which was falling out of the dashboard when the scooter came back to me there were huge chunks gouged out of the bodywork which they are refusing to repair.
I highly recommend Redland Mobility. I have have been exceedingly impressed with their proactivity, responsiveness and support.
We have been dealing with Chris Wilkins in adapting the access to our house to allow my sister to use her wheelchair.
This access is critical for my sister: this is the only way for her to enter or exit the house.
It has been a challenging fix and Chris has worked tirelessly to make sure that the ramp solution has been fit for purpose for my sister. He even fitted the ramps in the pouring rain!
We are very grateful for his diligence and commitment. The ramps make a material difference to my sister's day to day life.
