Avoid Regus at All Costs
Avoid Regus at All Costs – Predatory Contracts and Zero Accountability
Our small business signed up with Regus for what we thought was a simple 3-month virtual office agreement while we relocated to a larger facility. What we got instead was a trap that locked us into two years of payments, despite repeated attempts to cancel.
We emailed and called well in advance to end our contract. Regus acknowledged the communication, only to later claim cancellations cannot be made by phone or email. They refused to guide us on how to cancel through their website—a process so intentionally buried and convoluted that it feels like a deliberate scam.
They auto-renew contracts THREE MONTHS before they expire without proper notice, and once that early renewal hits, you're stuck. Even though our contract was set to end, we were told it had already auto-renewed and there was no way to cancel it anymore. We've now been paying for over a year on a service we explicitly ended, and will be forced to continue paying until March 2026.
Their customer service staff are sympathetic but completely powerless—they can’t process cancellations or escalate issues. All they can do is express empathy, which is honestly worse than nothing when you're trapped in a billing nightmare.
This company preys on small businesses, especially first-time users. Every part of the process—from hidden cancellation procedures to premature auto-renewals—is built to trap you into long-term payments. It’s deceptive, unethical, and shameful.
Unless you have 12 spare hours, legal support, and nerves of steel, DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH REGUS. Their practices are closer to a scam than a service.
