Shady company

I purchased a reliefband as a present for myself for an overseas trip. Motion sickness has had a huge impact on my life, same with anyone else who gets this device. It didn’t work for me—that’s fine. That’s not why I’m leaving a bad review. I purchased the band in advance of my trip, and therefore didn’t know it didn’t work for me within the return window. They refused a return, and customer service was extremely unsympathetic to my situation. When you as a company admit that your product does not work for ~10% of people, why have such a short, inflexible return policy? Not even 30 days?!? Was I supposed to make myself sick on purpose to test it immediately? If your product is good, you don’t need to have shady policies where you have to trick someone into keeping a product that doesn’t work for them. They pressure you into buying with flash sales, when the reality is you have to be very careful when you purchase to time it so that you are motion sick within 14 days, which is so ridiculous. In my mind, this company is a scam. I just paid off my last monthly installment and it makes me so upset thinking about how much money I lost for no reason.

TL;DR: Extremely short and inflexible return window. Don’t get scammed out of $200 like me!

14 day return policy, no exceptions

The band on the premier+ loosens as the wrist moves. As my wife was sleeping the band would loosen, stop working and the gel dries out! This really sucks as she is going through chemotherapy.

We were 5 days past the 14 day policy and they won't help. So there goes $374.

This company is a joke. If you don’t return their product in 14 days, they will refuse to refund, ask yourself if it works, why 14 days?!

I currently bought the sport model at…

I currently bought the sport model at the Chicago Travel show last weekend. I tried it Monday night. I had cancer surgery in 2003 and I have had very high anxiety at night and I was taking RX medication. IT WORKS!!! NO MEDICATION AND NO ANXIETY!!!!! I have motion sickness all my life. I look forward to going to an amusement park in the spring for the first time in my life.
My only suggestion is that it is difficult to put the cover on the Battery port. In the future please design a better cover

I’m sorry you’re having issues with your Reliefband Classic device. I’ll be happy to provide you with some troubleshooting tips to ensure the device provides optimal therapy!

Classic Battery Door Tips:
Make sure that the red battery tray is inserted properly into the device.
Make sure that the thin blue strip (left end of the battery door) is inside the device.
Push the left side of the blue battery door until snuggly inserted into the left lip of the opening.
Working from left to right, tuck the top part of the door into the device, and lock in the right side of the door.
Working from left to right, tuck the bottom lip of the battery door into the device.
If the battery door still sticks out, roll the battery door (while tucked into the device) on a hard, flat surface to flatten the battery door into the device about 5 or 6 times to secure the battery door.

Excellent customer service and response time to emails

I had my shipment get lost in the mail. Reliefband immediately shipped out another replacement with free expedited shipping. They were extremely helpful with working on getting this resolved and had EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE and response with communications. Thank you for much Reliefband!! Awesome product!

Don not hesitate, get one!

This will be my third relief band . This one is because I had to finally get myself one. My daughter is a pilot and this is perfect for FAA professionals. I got the water resistant for those snorkeling moments and another I had given to my mother recovering from surgery. They truly work. I get motion sick even on a swing..haha

Relief from a lifetime of motion sickness

My wife has tried everything---pills, shots, hypnotherapy---to overcome her lifetime motion sickness. She swears by the Reliefband. It gives her the ability to ride in cars and airliners without the use of drugs, making our trips much more pleasurable. She's come to rely on the Reliefband so much that we bought several, just in case the batteries run out on one.

What a RELIEF!

Easy to order. Good sale! I have used reliefband for cruises and long car or bus rides for the past 6 years. I have gotten great relief from my motion sickness and my Disembarkation syndrome symptoms. The only problem I had with my last band was the battery cover kept coming off and was so annoying eventually that I tore it off completely. I ordered this one for a cruise I will be going on in January. I am expecting the same great relief but hope the battery cover is sturdier. I also intend to get the band that will connect to my reliefband as well as my smart watch.

I take Mounjaro for my diabetes

I take Mounjaro for my diabetes. It sometimes causes nausea. The Relief Band really helps me with it. I have told others how great it is. I showed the ad to my doctor and he is going to recommend it to his patients.

Took 4 weeks to get a refund processed

Took 4 weeks to get a refund processed, which is ridiculous! Then they charged be $35 for shipping and handling for the return. That is outrageous. I don't know how they run their company but that is poor customer support. I wish I had never bought the relief band. It didn't work and getting my money back was so much work.

This is based on company policy. The Reliefband is effective for about 85% of the users who try it. We do offer FREE ground shipping and offer expedited to consumers. Again, we are sorry for your frustration with the return process. We are an FDA-Cleared Class II medical device and returns are required to be tested prior to refund or replacement.

Quit working after a year

I purchased the Relief Sport band a little over a year ago. It worked great on planes, boats, and car rides. I could actually read a little in the car without getting ill and I didn't feel the typical woozy feeling after a long journey. I am disappointed however that it quit working after the 1 yr warranty expired. I can't push the center button to turn it on. I was able to pop it back in place by pressing extra hard but it's still very difficult to press to get to the level of sensation I need. For the price, this should last more than a year. Very disappointing.

Poor customer service from the…

Re: Order #1234545 confirmed.
Poor customer service from the beginning. I paid extra for fast shipping and had issues. The product stopped working within the first few days. Then they only warranty the main device and not the extra components that were purchased with the main device. After 6 weeks of waiting I finally get a refund for mush less than the purchased price. They have all of the devices that were purchased.
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY
