HORRIBLE COMPANY. They do not treat you like a paying client and work with you. They are generic and have horrible customer service. You need to stay on top of them

EDIT: I didn’t know they didn’t receive the resume because no one contacted me. I write full details and attached a resume and cover letter so clearly their website is unreliable. And their customer service is horrible considering no one followed up after days of me patiently waiting. I also asked several questions before paying for the service and not once was informed all communications would be done via their website. They are not a company that works directly with the client. When my concerns were raised, I was told I need to be accountable for not checking their website because they sent me a “live chat.” Anyone who has ever worked with clients, knows to take ownership for THEIR part and the confusion THEY caused and then promise to deliver as oppose to assigning blame. This is not a company that works closely or directly with their clients. And prior to me paying for the services, Ryan was emailing me and calling me constantly. After I paid for the service, they put my account on hold and just waited for me to realize and somehow know all communication will be done through the website. They don’t care once they make the sale

I have a lot to say on my resume but can't pair it down to an easy to read format and limited amount of words. So, that's why I hired Resume Writing Service, and did a Fantastic job!

The job markets these days are wild. This I knew. So, when I went looking for a resume building service, I knew I wanted something that would give me any edge to stand out. Cue Resume Writing Group. They took my wants and needs and built me a beautiful resume. At the time I didn't know it but fast forward a year or so and I was in an office position, where I was put in charge of hiring, off of indeed. Let me tell you, Indeed resumes just don't cut it. After looking at literally thousands of resumes and learning how they look to employers (me in this case) I figured out very quickly why my old indeed resume wasn't getting me the jobs I wanted. With this new knowledge, I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that having a resume professionally tailored will not only help applicants stand out more it will make them look more professional as well! The resume writing group gave me quick and solid service, not to mention follow up service a year later! I have nothing but good things to say and we all need that extra help these days. It is absolutely worth the cost.

1st time using a resume writing service and it's been great. Searched a few services and found this to be the best. Called and listened to everything I said about my previous jobs and added my past job as I described it. Also added a cover letter which was great and I've never had one before so was excited about that also. I generally don't write reviews but I was so unhappy with the service I received I had to write this in hopes that it saves someone else $200.

The only good part about my experience was that I called them, and even though I didn't leave a message, I received a return call quickly. I discussed what I was looking for (combining 2 resumes into 1) and was told they could do that. Well they did but it was subpar. Only only real work they did was formatting my resume, and not doing much with the content. It actually feels like they just ran it through ChapGPT b/c the resume they gave me is not better than what I provided to them.

I called both numbers and both numbers appeared to be disconnected. I chatted them via their website and was told I could only communicate with them via their website, and they could not call me back. I sent messages through their portal, with specific questions. They questions weren't answered / there was no discussion, they performed simple updates and set it back to me. I'm so frustrated with their service, or lack thereof.

My recommendation: find another company, especially at their rates.

Don't use this company! I could not find a way to cancel this subscription, and I never agreed to have this company bill my credit card monthly. I needed a one-time service. I could have used AI and received cheaper and better results. I finally reported the billing as fraud and complained to the BBB.

The personal experience, Ryan listened to me and assured me that my resume would look professional.

The person that wrote my resume had no concept of what a mortgage closer is. They used sensationalized verbage such as "Spearheaded audits...", I did not spearhead anything in that particular role, and added a skill set I used at only 1 job to every job list on my resume. Again no concept of what a mortgage closer does. It was a complete waste of $150 and I have to now write my own resume. Do not recommend.

Working with the team on my resume was simple. I was surprised how fast and knowledgeable they were. After getting my new resume back, I started getting way more interview requests than befor. Now I just got a great job offer!!!

This company has been charging $9.95 monthly to my credit card without me ever giving them authorization for such. Very sneaky scammer!!! I provided them my credit card for a one time fee for a service ONLY! Why would I need to have them charge me $9.95 to my credit card months after I received from them the completed service of rewriting my resume (which by the way was a joke! They even removed my LinkedIn address from my resume and I had to enter it myself later on when I realized they had done this without reviewing with me first - which resume writing company does that?!?!?).

On February 7th, 2024, I spoke to a representative named Ryan from Resume Writing Group. I was drawn to their services primarily because of their advertised money back guarantee. During our conversation, I emphasized the importance of having a science-based resume tailored to my chemistry degree, as well as ensuring compatibility with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).

Ryan assured me that their resume writers were capable of crafting a strong, industry-standard science-based resume. He also outlined the terms of their money back guarantee, stating that I would need to diligently apply for job postings and provide proof of application for a refund. I specifically asked for clarification on what proof would be required, and Ryan stated that automated emails confirming I applied would suffice.

Feeling reassured by our conversation and the company's guarantee, I decided to proceed with Resume Writing Group. On February 9th, 2024, I received a voicemail from Ryan following up with me about my decision. I still called other resume services just to be sure. after carefully reviewing my notes and gathering all necessary information, I initiated the resume writing process through their website.

However, my experience with Resume Writing Group fell short of expectations. Despite providing detailed instructions and emphasizing the need for a science-based resume, the final product did not meet industry standards. I had conversation with the writer Rita to make it as good as possible and even informed Ryan through the portal I wasn’t as confident in the resume being up to standard for science. Furthermore, the resume did not get me any interview in the allotted timeframe.

When I reached out to Resume Writing Group to request a refund as per their money back guarantee, they refused to honor it, citing insufficient proof of job applications. I was informed that I will need in addition to applying for resumes online, fax and mail certify 40 resumes to each job. I did read this once I had paid for my services, and I was sent the “how to properly market your resume” this however was not stated on the initial website on the homepage nor was it relay in the phone consultation with Ryan. I asked for my call to be pulled and listened to with me. Despite this, Resume Writing Group failed to acknowledge my efforts and adhere to their guarantee I was verbally told. My expertise is forensic science and crime labs do not have fax numbers and incoming mail that the get. I also would not have paid for Resume Writing Group because as I stated to them that would have been an added financial burden on top of the 269.00. That would also defeat the purpose of hiring a resume service that states they will build a resume that is ATS compatible if I need to send a fax or certified mail to them in order to be eligible for a refund.

This experience has left me feeling misled and frustrated with Resume Writing Group's lack of accountability. I believe their money back guarantee policy is deceptive and fails to deliver on its promises.
