Revo Fitness staff are intolerable

MOST REVO Fitness staff at Sydneys Westfield are intolerable! Rude, unprofessional & some of the most pretensious sad individuals I've come across. Any good staff leave pretty quick, leaving what can only be described a crud! Harassing members seems to be at the top of there agenda. But when you ask for assistance you're usually ignored or insulted. AVOID cheap YES on every level I'm afraid. Check out reviews from other sites which are all predominantly NEGATIVE.

Revo is absolutely one of the best gyms…

Revo is absolutely one of the best gyms I have ever been to.
I have worked in the industry for more than 17 years and this is the best Gym I have ever trained in handsdown
It’s spacious it’s affordable. It’s convenient that you can go to all the other gyms. We travelled from Queensland down to South Australia and W.A. and we joined up in South Australia and absolutely loved it. Just so waiting for them to open up Revo Fitness in Queensland. Please please open up a Revo fitness gym at the Gold Coast

Have charged our cc without…

Have charged our cc without authentication, over $700. Promised full refund only received $80 back, no head office number dealing with stuff at gym is a joke being run by kids that have no idea, no customer service or care of anything, don’t join stay clear

abusive unprofessional and patronizing phone call

@RevoFitnessAU Just received a very abusive unprofessional and patronizing phone call from a Revo staff member named "Paul Christidis "making false accusations about me and not giving me time to reply .
I will consider my next move after obtaining some legal advice.
.Bad Business !!

Don’t believe their claims of "no hidden fees" or "no lock-in contracts

Revo Fitness promotes itself as having "no hidden fees" and "no lock-in contracts."
However, if you don’t have sufficient funds during their first attempt to process your payment, they charge you AUD 60 instead of the agreed monthly fee of AUD 43—just for missing one payment attempt.

When I asked to cancel my membership, they required me to visit in person to do so. I couldn’t manage that due to my busy schedule.

After a few months, I sent another email stating that I would take action if they didn’t cancel my membership. They responded saying they would cancel it, but I would still need to pay AUD 28 due to their "30-day notice period."

I am now planning to take the necessary action against them.
In short: don’t believe their claims of "no hidden fees" or "no lock-in contracts."

I've been comeing to the Revo gym for five weeks …

I've been comeing to the Revo gym for the last five weeks now.

I go the to the one on main north road Blair athol. As I am waiting for the one at hollywoood plaza to be built

Everyone time I have been in there lately I see. No one using towels or wiping everything down after use.

Also I find the staff very unfriendly never wants to have a chat to you when u walk in the gym I feel like she's very bleh. Not a welcoming staff member I asked for some help with a belt for a machine I wanted to use she didn't really wanna help me in anyway. There is no staff on the floor to show people how to use the machines at all. I had a man ask me to help him to use a machine lucky I know how to use that one.

I miss my old gym. But had no choice to find a cheap gym to join and make use of it. But I feel like the staff could be me more friendly I know if I worked in a gym I'd love help someone and be more bubbly with customers.

It's off putting when u don't get that welcoming vibe.

Since Revo Fitness took over Crunch Fitness in Mentone, the experience has been nothing short of disappointing. The transition has been poorly managed, leaving members like me frustrated and questioning whether staying with this gym is even worth it.

First, the lack of communication about membership terms is unacceptable. I paid for six months upfront—does that still stand, or is Revo now converting it into weekly deductions without notice? No one has clarified this, and it feels like we’re being left in the dark.

Then, the gym is shutting down for **six weeks** for renovations. While upgrades can be good, forcing members to go without access for that long is ridiculous. Many of us chose this gym because of its convenience—I walk there since my family shares one car. Why not renovate in stages, after hours, or on certain days to minimize disruption? We don’t care about rebranding; we just want to work out.

To make matters worse, reliability is nonexistent. This morning, I showed up at the promised opening time of 7:00 AM—only to wait until 7:10 AM with no staff in sight. By the time they finally opened (if they even did—I had to leave by 7:40 AM), my workout was ruined.

Revo had a chance to make a good impression after taking over Crunch, but instead, they’ve delivered confusion, inconvenience, and broken promises. If this is how they run a business, I’ll be reconsidering my membership once (or *if*) my prepaid term is honored.

**Advice to Revo:** Communicate clearly, respect your members’ time, and stop treating the gym like it’s *your* project instead of *our* fitness space. This takeover has been a masterclass in how to alienate loyal customers.

My experience after the theft of our car

My experience after the theft of our car and personal property at Revo Fitness Blair Athol on 16 June 2025 was harrowing. The theft was made possible by a faulty security door left unrepaired for over a month. Our car was recently recovered completely stripped. And mind you they took an additonal 1.5 months to fully fix the security door, despite their own staff members, personal trainers and members highlighting to them of the security door not working. I have videos of the faulty door - if you the reader would like more information contact me and I'd be more than happy to chat.

To make matters worse, police confirm another theft happened at the Modbury branch - same offender, potentially enabled by internal security issues.

Revo has offered only a 2‑month refund and membership freeze until October - which is an absolute joke. No apology. No public warning to members. No transparency. But rather, stating that it was our fault for leaving personal belongings in their pigeon holes - an area frequently used by members to store belongings. And mind you their "24/7 high-resolution cameras" do not cover critical areas around the gym. When they know they have high traffic during unstaffed hours they should have made the attempt to fix the door promptly, or at the least pay staff members to be there during high member traffic hours.

Claiming “tailgating” and blaming members, while refusing to share CCTV footage or issue advisories, is unacceptable. Revos website promises "24/7 high‑resolution security cameras;" they clearly aren’t being used to protect members.

If you care about safety and accountability - think twice before trusting Revo. They will probably respond to this comment with false claims, or saying it is not their liability or that they have tried to resolve this matter. Do not trust them - they neither care about member safety or having a humane understanding about safety of their members. They clearly value profits and brand, over members stafety.

This matter has caused sever emotional distress to both me and my partner - on the day their staff member did not care to check on us, their emails cold, measured, and calculated to protect their own safety.

Avoid Revo Fitness if you care about your personal safety, I highly doubt they would care if you were harmed within their gyms either.

Revo Girrawheen. Where the toilets smell unclean

Revo Girrawheen’s staff on the phone, treats their clientele exactly, how the rest of these millennial, gen y, whatever generation, treats them. With bad manners, deflecting, catch phrase blabbering talking points. I was put on speaker phone during a time when i was expressing my disgust at being overcharged and then being told i would basically have to suck it up and wait a month to get back the losses. I could hear the audible change of muffled laughter echoing down the line as she switched from headset to speaker phone. Thanks Brit or Bri. This is the cost of your arrogant sarcastic attitude. This review! You’re welcome.
There’s a recognisable decrease in customer service the longer the public education system ‘educates’ these airheads, most of whom can’t even write cursive unless it’s done for them on an app.
I would also not recommend anyone who values quiet peaceful workouts to use this gym. I was doing some heavy bag work for cardio before my workout and had to take a quick toilet break only to walk up behind some cauliflower headed ‘Gym bros’ laughing saying “check out that old d’head on the bag! Haha”.
Water off a ducks back but these gyms are all infested with noodle armed, gangs of jealous 20 something sociopaths sporting the very latest sports gear, and side eyeing everyone in sight who, appears out of place because they’re not gazing into their iphone instagram account. Put the phone away you generation of weirdo’s. Oh and Revo, sayonara suckers!!!

complete rip off joined revofitness…

complete rip off joined revofitness they took $57.00 from card. I decided withing the 7 day cooling period to cancel the membership. They would not return the payment and have now charged a further $30.00 cooling off cancelation fee. Thats $87.00 of pure rip off. Avoid this gym there are plenty of others do not join this one it will cost you.

A "Health" club? More like a "Covid" club

Members of the Charlestown gym have low compliance with Covid check-ins after hours. I brought it up with staff, they seemed aware of it. They claim to review footage, though I have seen no observable improvement.

I guess it's the price you pay for el-cheapo establishments like this. I chose to cancel the membership as I didn't enjoy the idea of using Covid covered gym equipment.

If health matters to you in this climate, choose a gym that is staffed when open.
