Basic user experience is fine, advanced experience is negative

Basic user experience is fine. However as you try to do more advanced things with Rezgo, you run into many issues.

Recent examples: image display issues when using the Wordpress plugin, broken links and product pages not displaying at all, new releases (that are not advertised) have broken expensive customizations, fees are higher than most.

In short, it's a good place to start, but better to purchase a reservation software outright that you can control for the long term.

Thank you for the feedback. I'm sorry you haven't had the kind of experience with Rezgo that we would like. Advanced integrations, especially those involving custom code can always be a bit tricky. We try our best to be backwards compatible, but that isn't always possible. You can be assured that we will continue to make improvements to the WordPress plugin and other integration options. Hopefully we'll be able to reduce your customization costs in the future.

Rezgo is just amazing

Rezgo is just amazing! Flexible, easy to add and easy to understand. When we had questions, they always replied within a day or two. We recommend Rezgo to any company wanting to save time doing administration. Just fab!

Solid booking solution, integrations are risky

Having used Rezgo for over 5 years, we have appreciated much of the functionality. I would caution against deep integration with your website, as they roll new features that render previous integrations obsolete and break your site without warning. For example, they changed their image storage architecture without telling us and we still have broken images all over our site as a result. The cost of paying a developer to keep up with their changes is much higher than their service fee, so consider carefully before integrating closely.

Thank you for the feedback Mark and for your continued support of the system. You are correct that deeper integrations can sometimes cause issues especially with backwards compatibility. It just so happens that the issue you describe happened around the time that we released our major upgrade. In hindsight we could have communicated more and been a bit more proactive. Hopefully we'll do better with updates moving forward and your experience will only improve over time.

Great solution for tour operators

Great solution for tour operators. We use their wordpress plugin in various sites and the setup is done very quickly. On top their support usually sorts out any issue we have within a day or less. Absolutely recommended!

Good value and does the job

Good value and does the job, but there’s lots of little things that are a pain!

Update on things that are a pain as requested,
1. Family tickets don't exist, in my business I'd like to do a family rate where they can get a reduced rate for say 2+2, but you can't do this and still take 4 places out of the time slot.
2. Promo codes used to be able to be set that they could only be used a set number of times and then expire or for a set length of time and then expire. This function now doesn't exist.
3. People are now calling us regularly to say they can't book as it's saying there is no availability after they have gone through the whole booking process even though there is availability.
4. We have no way of seeing the google analytics for peoples actions through the booking system as it's run on the rezgo page rather than on our web page.

There's the top 4, if I had time I could list a few more, currently shopping around for another booking engine, the price is the only thing holding me at the moment.

Hi Gareth. Thanks for the feedback. I'm glad the system is generally working out for you. Would you mind sharing some of the little things that are a pain so we can find ways to make them less of a pain? Our goal is to reduce pain, not cause more of it, so hopefully we can reduce it for you too.

Thanks Aaron. We would love to add rentals to the system. It is on our wish list but we haven't had a chance to develop the functionality yet. Hopefully we'll be able to make room in the development schedule for this. We'll keep you posted.

Overall a good tour booking system for a small business

We have used Rezgo to set up a tour booking system. The customer service has been excellent and the co-branding service means that the Rezgo web pages now have the same feel as our main website. I like in particular the fact that there is no upfront fee and the costs are a percentage of bookings through the site. For a small business such as ourselves this is helpful. My only reservation is that some of the pages/labels/forms cannot be adapted, which limits the amount that one can personalise the service. But overall a good system
