Right2refund 

I had a refund from last year (probably september time) heard nothing apart from some security checks. I emailed them but it looks like they have stopped trading or something because the emails bounced back. Think ive been scammed

I received my money from their sister company go refunds however i then made a marriage allowance claim directly through hmrc but as go refunds had authority from 2019 to 2023 the money had been sent to go refunds instead of me which go refunds said they will transfer to me upon receipt. This money was issued by HMRC on 26/01/2024 which should have been received a week ago by go refunds i have emailed them everyday since to get vague replies. I spoke to hmrc today who sent me a payment reference the payment date and amount and everything but now all of a sudden the company have stopped taking phonecalls, all emails have started to bounce back they have scammed me off my £1000 payment which should have never been sent to them anyway and was supposed to be for my unborn baby. I have no means of getting in contact with them now or even getting my money from there and have raised this with hmrc who also cant do anything until they have launched a fraud investigation. PLEASE AVOID!!

Received tax rebate around November time using this company. (Zest refunds apparently the sister company) However, when attempting to log into my gateway account this company has control of it and I am unable to log in myself. I've read replies from the company on Trust Pilot, and it states they do log into your account but after a claim is completed remove themselves from it. This is not the case in my situation and it appears they have logged in again 2 months after I received the money. I have had to contact HMRC who are now investigating the matter. I have informed all my work colleagues to check their gateway user accounts as the majority of them used this company. I originally contacted right to refund, but they put me with their sister company zest refunds. Don't use any of these. Dread to think what they're doing with my information.

If I could give this company 0 stars, I would. They conned me to put a claim in with them last January 2023. I haven’t received a single penny of my refund, over a year later, despite them lying and telling me I was owed over £3000. I can no longer speak to a person over the phone and none of my emails are ever responded to. I am no longer bothered about the money, as I assumed it was all a con anyway, but I can no longer get into my tax account as they’ve taken control of it. This is having repercussions for my latest tax returns. I know some people have received money from them, but it’s a huge risk and I must have been one of the unlucky ones. Please AVOID!!!

Very poor customer service. I believe its a scam as I supplied all documents only to be told I'm not entitled to anything, although previous I was told on numerous occasions I'd qualify for a refund.
When I contacted them on several occasions I've had no reply.
If something appears to good to be true..... it normally is.

Do yourself a favour and stay well away from this company, you might get a claim but trust me hrmc will take it back ,worst mistake I ever made ,,,,,reply no its nothing to do with my employer I have never had any reimbursement ever , I contacted hmrc and I have recived fines with interest for you filing in my tax return forms late I spoke to your customer care team sent then the evidence and was told not to worry they will sort it out ,then you stoped replying to emails, my company employs 900 people so you lost out on a lot of custom as I have spread the word far and wide to avoid you like the plage total cons

Complete and utter Crooks!

Submitted my claim March 2023, was prompted by "Laura" of Right2Refund what I was entitled too. Probably one of the worst mistakes I've ever made, from start to present an absolutely disaster of a company.

Clueless when questioned on where the Claim is, incorrectly submitted 2 Self Assessments claims on my behalf, issued 2 UTR codes due to their incompetence, all of which I had to resolve myself with HMRC.

Claim has been processed through HMRC security checks twice due to the incorrectly submitted claims which Right2 Refund tried to deny until I had written evidence from HMRC, now the Claim is to be put through HMRC compliance checks Right2Refund or "Zest" are no longer willing to deal with the claim and their Accountants, Global Prosper Ltd, have retired their involvement and left myself to pick up the pieces.

Fraudulent crooks looking to take advantage of individuals tax accounts that are clueless and should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law, I will be reporting Right2Refund and Zest refunds to the Financial Ombudsman, HMRC and what ever other agency can prosecute or shut them down.

This company clearly doesn’t do things properly ! Doesn’t even TPS check numbers and then when you tell them your registered, they try and argue with you and still try and tell you they are doing you a favour! Staff clearly are not trained so why would you even want to begin to give your personal data to a business like this! Marcus @ right2refund clearly needs some training !! Right2refund did exactly what they said they were going to do. Process took about 6 weeks in total. I received payment in my bank 3 days after they said my claim had been approved. No complaints from me. Thank you!

From my personal experience if you are looking for a company to act on your behalf for self assessment claims don’t use this one. 11 weeks since I first started the process, was told 6-8 weeks in total yet I still haven't received the money 11 weeks later . I was quoted 2500 after there fees. I did advise my salary changed over the 3 years they were claiming from but they used the highest amount and claimed for top amounts of everything so it gave a better figure to lure you into using them, HMRC confirmed amount no where near that and I’m not the only one from my work who has used this company where they have over quoted the figure , they have done it to us all! Part of the delay in fairness was down to the HMRC taking longer to provide a UTR number but then this company after giving them the UTR failed to request the next step (SA code) within a timely manner and further delay from these submitting the claim, HMRC confirmed payment was being sent but these took ages to pass on that figure and request bank details. This company just takes there time doing anything and replying to messages . I went with these guys due to colleagues using them however I wish I checked around first . Other companies have lower fees and are completing a lot quicker so do your research before hand.
Gave my bank details Tuesday so hopefully some time soon they will bother to send the payment . Considering they take 33% plus 5% vat and £5 processing fee you would think they would work quicker! Personally I wish I done the claim my self directly with HMRC and cut out this guys over inflated fees , would have been quicker!

Do not go near this company,I had a rebate through them, my tax code changed, I had to pay it back including the percentage they took! SCAM ARTISTS

I began the process in September 2022 with this company and was informed by HMRC that my refund was sent directly to right2refund in February 2023.

I have since not received any refund and right2refund are denying receiving the payment. Neither right2refund nor the HMRC are concerned, they do not reply to my queries and aren’t helping me to resolve this.

How can I take this further?

I started my claim back in August 2022, still waiting, I have had to contact them on several occassions as no correspondence from them as to what is taking so long with my claim, only that HMRC are doing security checks. This has been going on for over a year now. I have been told by other sources that once you get your UTR number the claim should be finalised but not with this company apparently. I would seriously think about using this company. The service is shocking for the % they take.

Right 2 Refund were really helpful I was doubtful at first around the legitimacy of this based on other reviews on here, however after a conversation with an advisor and a couple of follow ups. I was put at ease followed through the process and submitted the required documents and after 8 weeks of no updates I got a letter from HMRC Confirming I will be entitled to over £2000.00, after Right 2 Refund took their percentage I got just under £1500.00

I must admit that on many occasions I am usually sceptical with these processes but after reading the reviews I decided to give a go! And I must admit I was nicely surprised with the professional process and explanation and in the end received £1600 which I am grateful for as I am on maternity leave so this will nicely support me and my income! The company do charge quite a bit but without them I wouldn’t have even that amount. So I am very grateful thank you!

Submitted my claim back on january 8th and still waiting now after being told it would be 6 to 8 weeks for the claim to come through. It is now the end of june and have given uo hope. All i get is i will be told when my claim is ready and hmrc are doing security checks?? How long exactly do these take? No proper explanation at all just keep getting fobbed off

DO NOT USE. This company is an absolute scam, they commit acts of fraud, take all your personal information from you, act on your behalf for you to hear nothing for weeks on end, only for them to tell you your claim is ineligible

I was disappointed with the amount of the refund I received through this company. I felt like their fees were high and the amount I received back wasn't worth it.

They take around 30%, but then you do end up getting some money back which is much needed at the moment

Absolute scam, they take all your details, have photocopies of private documents to sit on them for 4 months and then tell you there's no claim as you have filed a tax return - when I haven't
