Roastman Pat Avis 

Ok here we go first a tale of woe, 2 weeks ago i ordered my favorite roast dinner to be delivered on a sat. Eagerly awaiting delivery and guess what the courier couldnt find my address. Contacted roastman pat and he looked into it, found they couldnt deliver but lo and behold they delivered late monday morning. I was advised to not eat it and bin it as we didnt know where it had been. Roastman phoned me personally with a resolution to my problem. A new lamb dinner dinner was dispatched wirh a few extras for my trouble. Now we get to the meat of rhe review (pun intended) after reheating the meat, gravy, and veggies, plus my favorite yorkie pud. Meat was tender, veggies and gravy and pud all tasty, i have to say the sticky toffee pudding was excellent. Overall the service and food was above my expextations and i would not hesitate to recommend them to all.

Sadly, the deal-breaker for me is NOT ONE review has been responded to which highlights Roastman Pat's apparent lack of interest in it's customers..... Would have been nice if they bothered....

Fantastic food!
When you live on your own, a roast dinner is quite often not a option, but these guys make it possible. the food is great and the delivery is reliable. You could even cheat and pass it off as your own!!

I have been using roastman pat now for a while and it’s amazing the food quality is brilliant and they are large portions. The ease of it as well is just perfect I highly recommend it I will certainly be ordering every week

Wow!!! Absolutely incredible roast dinner. A perfect home cooked meal without the mess or needing to cook! We had the beef and it was cooked to perfection, and I loved how I could make my roasts extra crispy and not so crispy for my partner 😅 everything arrives in little packages perfect for keeping in the fridge till you need it. 10/10

Ordered 2 dinners roast beef and pork. They were both beautiful and large portions. There was a slight problem with delivery but communication was brilliant and as an apology i was sent 2 free dinners which my daughter and husband loved. Ihave ordered again and my daughter will be as well.

Very big portions had the roast pork and got two massive piece of pork could quite easily feed two people tasted lovely and was simple to cook 5*

We had the roast beef with all the trimmings and enjoyed it very much, one little negative not enough gravy, but all in all very satisfied.

Ordered the roasts and they arrived next day. Well packaged and a good selection of veg. Now had the pork,lamb,chicken and belly pork and have to say enjoyed them all. Love the cauli cheese and red cabbage too so the portion is topped up, not cause they are small in anyway but I'm just a big lad.😂😂.

Will look at this option for Xmas rather than spending time cooking.

I've been ordering from roastman pat for about 3 months and every meal has been spot on,

Food was delivered on time, and well packaged. Good flavours and generous portion sizes, with the only slight negative is that I'm not sure it's one of those food types that travels/re-heats that well. I would order again however.

As a single person I thought “oh order a Sunday Roast” no eating the same stuff for three days.

What a mistake.

It all sounded so good on the website so for the pricey £26.50 inc delivery I ordered roast beef for one with a side of cauliflower cheese.

Never again! I attach photos of the disaster this was but;

• It says put in a tray and heat up at 180c for 10 mins on the site
• Instructions arrive and say same temp – 2 mins
• It says vacuum packed – well I guess their vacuum bit of packing is not working! The Yorkshire came half slung into a bit of cling film.
• Carrots and parsnips – yeah I like them but could you not have topped them before? I like non topped/tailed veg but not in large tough form!
• Cauliflower cheese -hmm a bag of kind of white mush
• The meat – if it had gone in oven for 10 mins described it would have been cremated
• The Yorkshire pudding is what I would describe as an old-fashioned bun size – yep I like small yorkies but one which would have been seriously burned if I had given it the cooking time suggested.
• The gravy OMG horrific – tasteless chuck a bit of not even bisto in the pot stuff.

I am now at 20 mins at 180c temp in oven

• The carrot and parsnip are still luke temp,
• I have taken the tiny yorkie out its soggy but I don’t want it to burn
• The potatoes – well all I can do is laugh, soggy, miserable and not tempting.
• Oh goodness I forgot there was a stem of broccoli in there! I wonder where is that!
• The beef I have not even contemplating putting in the oven. I like rare – it was medium on delivery
• I think another 6 mins and I will remove carrot, parsnip and well any broccoli I can find to the keep warm plate.
• Then put the potatoes back in to hopefully cook/crisp
• After that I will bob the diminutive Yorkshire pudding in to crisp up.
• Once all of this done I will try to heat the beef without it going even further over cooked and tip out the tasteless gravy on it!

I am writing this live so bear with me! I have just taken the cauliflower cheese and the ends of the parsnip and carrot out. The Yorkie is well out a long time ago, the beef doesn’t get a look in yet! Back on for another ten mins though I am not hopeful about the potatoes! So we are heading for 30 mins + whatever to warm up the beef ..and re-crisp the Yorkshire. Another ten mis later and I put the Yorkshire and beef in.

Oh god it was vile. I am sorry I was so hopeful but no my summary is ; Badly cooked, dreadful ingredients, poor packaging, questionable ingredients and misleading instruction/promises

Never again, do not waste your money. I am not sure if tested for nasties it would even pass!

I suspect that this company depend on one -time buyers. Reviews that say otherwise well tbh your love of food is a nonsense and you are wasting a huge amount of money.

In fact it was so bad my intention is to report the company to environmental health inspectors and possibly having only eaten a quarter get rid of it out of my body somehow!

Don’t waste your money. It’s a blumming great big miserable tasting con.

Amazing Lamb roast. Vegetables were great and roasted potatoes are mouthwatering. Tasty Yorkshire Pudding and gravy. Excellent value

Will be ordering again very soon

Had my first one and it was so lovely it did look small when arrived but actually we didn’t eat it all. The only thing I will do different is put the meat in the gravy when heating. Will be ordering again thanks Roastman Pat
