The worst Customer Service I have ever…
The worst Customer Service I have ever dealt with
I signed up as this service was recommended to me as I live outside wired broadband areas so I needed a reliable service but this was the total opposite of a reliable service. It worked great for the 1st month or so but then it went down on a Friday and as there is no weekend support we were left without internet and no way of finding out what may be wrong. I called customer service on the monday and was informed that there was issues with some customers and to wait and service will be restored, I waited until the following friday and called again as it was now a full week with no internet and NO ONE had contacted me and I didnt see any outage notification on their website, I was told it was being worked on but there was NO eta for service return. the 2nd weekend past so I emailed and and got a reply saying it was a network provider issue and they would send a new sim card and to make sure and return the old one as I would be charged for 2 accounts if not. I was told that i would receive a 10 euro discount for the now 2 weeks of non service which I did receive. The coverage was very bad and I contacted customer support again and after pleading with them to send a replacement sim as they had me on a Vodafone Sim which I know from experience this was no good in our area and that three network is better and they said they would send me a replacement, I NEVER received it. I eventually gave up waiting and went to Starlink (Best choice I have ever made) and waited for the contract to expire, I messaged them 5 weeks before contract expiry to make sure it would be cancelled but again customer service didnt check the email account they use to sign people up so again I started receiving emails saying I owe them money and that service would be cut off. I had to email another one of their accounts to get them to check the email I sent and they found it and accepted their error and after explaining all the issues I had they asked did I still want the new sim for their service, I said no

Upon investigation, it appears that there was a delay in receiving your email due to it being sent to the wrong team. Once we received your email on March 20th, we took immediate steps to rectify the situation
I understand your frustration regarding the network provider issues and the subsequent delay in receiving the replacement SIM card. Your feedback regarding the choice of network provider is valuable, and I'm sorry for any inconvenience it caused. After looking into this I can see during a system upgrade, a glitch occurred with the network Provider without our knowledge, affecting a batch of customer accounts. Despite assurances from our network providers that this background change wouldn't impact customers, we discovered the issue when customers contacted us about connectivity problems..
While this experience falls short of our usual standards, I want to assure you that it was an isolated incident. Our team is committed to providing timely and efficient support to all our customers, and we regret any inconvenience this may have caused. As a small family-run Irish business, reviews and customer satisfaction are paramount, which is why we're proud to have won Best Customer Service twice in a row. Instances like this are a rarity, and we're continuously striving to improve our services.

I had a problem with my Wi Fi connection
I had a problem with my Wi Fi connection dropping out but Sam at Rural Wi-Fi sorted it out for me after having problems with the delivery of a new router. He was very patient and understanding and very clear in his instructions for how to overcome the problem. I couldn’t have asked for better service.

Tech support was extremely good
Tech support was extremely good. Sam showed extreme patience. His instructions were very clear and I know this sounds mad but when you are concentrating on olinstruction being given to you about technical issues that you don't completely understand, it is a Godsend when that person speaks slowly and with perfect diction. Sam didn't hurry or rush but explain things in a very clear manner.
I am very impressed with the tech support I have recieved from Rural Wifi

Very happy and highly recommend
Last month we were looking for a new internet provider and spent some time reading reviews of the providers in our area. After readig them and talking about our choices, my wife and I liked the reviews of Rural Wifi, they had lots of them and the comments were very positive. So after all our research, we made our decision and are very happy with it. They offer great service which is hard to find these days and they also have a wonderful and friendly customer service team when you need them.

First Class Support, highly recommend Rural WiFi
When our FTTC contract with a bigwig provider (*V) expired, fibre had just arrived in the area, so we decided to switch to another bigwig provider (*S) and get FTTH installed, thinking we would get a better deal. Huge mistake, installation date was cancelled 3 times and their customer service was frankly appalling.
I gave up and later decided to sign up with Rural WiFi (which was seemless), however the bigwig provider (*S) didn't bother cancelling the pending installation order on the property despite multiple calls & complaints filed. Trying to cancel the order with *S was a nightmare, it went for weeks.
However Rural WiFi were just fantastic throughout the mess.
The agent who signed me up (Andrei) kept in contact with us while we tried to sort out the cancellation issue over the past few weeks and was so patient and helpful. Glad to say we finally have a date for fibre installation and never again will I go to any of the bigwig providers.

For any leadership in Rural WiFi who might be reading this review, you've got a great employee working for ye!

Router issue
My router died on me Monday morning, I called Ruralwifi and spoke to Ciara. She was super helpful and sent out a new router asap. I received it Wednesday morning, and she also helped me to reset it.
