The item I received from Ruths Gems was not as presented in the pictures on FB. It was suppose to be hammered gold, thicker than the one I received and much better quality. The reviews on the site gave no indication whatsoever that the products being sold are substandard! Guess they only get to present stellar reviews, horrible!

What a disappointment! The ring I ordered was broken and the materials were cheap. It wasn’t worth the sales price, let alone what they said the original price was! I wish I had read the reviews and I hope this helps someone else not to be taken.

WHAT A SCAM!! The jewelry looks nothing like what is photograped. And the story "Hi I'm Ruth, and welcome to my studio! I have been running this shop for nearly 20 years with a lot of passion and dedication. Each piece of jewelry in my collection is made using only the highest quality materials" IS A COMPLETE FRAUD. The jewelry is JUNK. I am seeking a refund now.

Ordered 5 items. This is costume jewelry at best! It’s sod as sterling silver but is definitely not!!! Received Chinese crap jewelry not worth what I paid. Buyer beware!!!! Took many follow up’s with customer service to even get shipping info (came from China even tho advertised as USA). Deceiving sales practices!!!

If I could give this merchant zero stars I would. This merchant is not a US merchant, not an artisan and sells junk jewelry from China. They hide all of their customers angry comments on Facebook so people keep ordering from them and Facebook is complicit because they run ads in their fraud. DO NOT order from them.

One star review is one too many. Learned my lesson in trusting merchants before reading reviews. My experience mimics everyone else’s on here. Why is Facebook allowing them to continue? I noticed most all comments on the Ruth’s Gems Facebook page have been deleted.

What a joke! Total scam. I'm mad at myself for not reading reviews. Ordered 3 sets of earrings. One being the opal hoops. I received jade green! No opal in sight. The other 2 look cheap and are NOT hand made as claimed. Save yourself the frustration and keep on scrolling.

This is a fake! Do not buy from them! There is no “Ruth”
It’s a company in China not a woman in Arizona. It cost more to return an item than what you pay. I would have pad $75 to send back $71 of jewelry. They offered me 30% back & keep the crappy jewelry. My bad for not checking them out first.

Nothing looked like what was advertised. Total waste of money! Do not buy. This is clearly a big fat scam!!

Yep! I fell for the scam because I thought it was made in the USA. There are a number of other sites that seem similar (and suspect they may be scams as well).
Didn't realize it until I went to tracking my package and found that it has come from China. Such a disappointment.

I ask why didn't I check the reviews....this company cannot be contacted...the number doesn't work. So to even try to return them is useless.
The jewelry is NOT what you see in the pictures...not even close.
They are cheap and misrepresented.
I think that all qualifies as a scam...

Rip off! No way to reach them to return a pair of earrings that arrived broken. Email is a false address and phone number disconnected.

A giant scam jewelry came from china not United States - cost to return accd to post office would exceed cost of purchase - I was stupid to not read any reviews before ordering- jewelry is plastic crap. Have dispute pending with my cc company

I'll add my review that this is a total scam in the hopes that it'll help someone. Facebook is a trash social media site for allowing this garbage to run on our feeds. Beware - there are more of these scams on fb - jewelry and leather goods. The same story - little old lady is going out of business and selling her inventory. My earrings arrived today and they are very cheap - I'm afraid they will turn my ears green. Also, I ordered two different pairs of earrings and received two of the same exact thing. A total ripoff for what I paid. Avoid Ruths Gems and any other "going out of business" scams on facebook.

Cheapest jewelry EVER! You get what you pay for so I made a huge mistake. Don't fall for it. If I could have given "0" stars, I would have. Only good for costume jewelry for children who don't know better. Bad news.

I should have read the reviews before purchasing. I ordered and just received a shipping update. As soon as I saw the shipping company, I knew it was a scam. I have not received anything yet, so I am going to call Visa and see about getting the charge reversed. Ugh, I can believe I fell for this stupid scam!

this is a falls advertising, the company is from china, cheap item , you can buy from fleamarket for a $1.
I stop payment on my credit card for not receiving the item on time . took more than 13 days . after item arrived i contacted the company for return label , the customer service phone number is not working and they never issue or return my email. today I notice their website is not working either. I am concern about wearing these earring because or the material they are made of.
they are still on facebook and instgram, don't fall for this SCAM.

There is no 'Ruth' to begin with, and the products makes. Temu jewelry as luxury items. Amazing fake photograpgs at Ruth’s website.

How can they showcase photos that make the jewelry look nice when they actually send out cheap plastic pieces? Facebook should be held accountable for allowing this. PLEASE do not buy from this scam site. They also sell bags under different name.
