I should’ve read reviews before I ordered. Everything is from China lightweight painted plastic crap. Nothing feels like metal and anll are so shiny and bright they look fake. I’m also concerned about lead since they arrived from China, which is not indicated when placing an order. Going to dispute the charge if they won’t refund everything.

Not allowing me to rate anything below one. This is a scam site. There is no Ruth, the phone number is disconnected and the AOL site cannot be found. I received two pair of inferior, cheaply made minuscule earrings that nowhere matches what is on the site. I will report this to my bank and will continue to put out the warning that this is a scam. In the future I will check all sites I purchase from. I am seeing that many have been duped and essentially had their money stolen by the illegal site. Seeing they are not located in the US probably limits the ability to retrieve funds but I will try.

NOT a US company, Chinese. Very poor quality jewelry, not at all like the pics show. Have to mail it back to china to return it.

Terrible. Bull-s**t company; there is no Ruth. Jewelry took weeks to arrive and when it did it was cheap, junky China-made crap.

I would give zero stars if I could. This is jewelry you would have found in a box of crackerjack. Don’t believe the l’m a US based artist story. It’s a crock TOTAL SCAM !

False advertising. Pictures LOOK like real jewelry, priced like real jewelry...... actual product is plastic costume jewelry from China. If you want your money back, you must ship back to China on your own dime.

This is not a retired lady out of her home. It’s mass production, cheap materials not worth the price. The products left China were delivered to Jamaica, New York and then to my house the delivery took forever. I would return the items but afraid I’m not gonna get my money back. DO NOT buy from them.

I am a fool for ordering. I started to check out companies before buying but didn't.
Horrible product and will most likely cost more to send back to CHINA (not handmade in Southwest).
This is second time I've been scammed. Am hopeful will be the last.

Chinese products, golden color is actually orange, silver is chrome. Very poor quality, nothing to do with pictures of products !!! SCAM

I wish I could rate zero stars! I am also a victim of fraud for the “going out of business” scam for Ruth’s gems and am now waiting for some package coming from China. I can’t believe I fell for it. I thought I was getting some unique jewelry gifts for Christmas presents. I can’t believe they can’t stop this ad.

FRAUD Alert!!! The website and story look good, but this jewelry is not handcrafted in Arizona. It is made in China. I haven't received my order yet, but shipping says it is coming from China. Based on this and the on the other reviews here, I realize I've fallen for a scam. Wish I had done my research. Adding to the pile of poor reviews in hopes it helps someone else avoid falling for this in the future.

I never take the time to write reviews, especially negative ones but I am so mad for falling for this scam that I hope I can save someone else. First, there is no "Ruth" - the jewelry comes from China, which is why it took over a month. And then the quality is crap. I went back and saw the "30 day money back guarantee" but there is no record of my order, hence nothing to return. I was charged of course. I have learned a hard lesson but stay far away from this site!!

Jewelry does not look at all like pic. Seems to be made out of plastic. Ring sizes are not accurate. No response from “Ruth”. Do not waste your money.

Horrible company! I should have known better and read the reviews before I placed an order. Everything that was said in other reviews is absolutely correct. They place a lot of ads on Facebook. Buyer beware. Angry and disappointed!

Sent a cheap knock-off that looks nothing like the opal earrings I ordered. What they send was a cheap, oversized plastic bead. They answered my email and refused to replace it with what I actually ordered. That’s because they don’t have the nice jewelry that they advertise. Their phone number is out of order, and they won’t reply to my request for return. This is not a little old lady from AZ, it’s a rip off Chinese company that deals in scams.
