I love this towelling beach dress - its already had lots of outings. Its made of nice thick absorbent towelling and has a pocket! Also enjoyed the fun website and clear, friendly communication.

Terrible comms, bad service. Took more than 3 weeks to receive my item. Emailed multiple times. Only one reply, which was rude and aggressive. Avoid these jerks of a business acting as if they run a nice family own company. Who cares if you act like a jerk.

Hi Doron, as mentioned in your wife Poppy’s emails and review prior to this one, this was a clearance sale she purchased from. Feel free to visit our warehouse in person and meet the whole family. I’ll personally introduce you. It’s a pretty poor way to be to both try and bring down a small family-owned business because you had to wait for your order and were given responses and continuous updates along the way. I’m happy to share these, as we do quite often share our reviews and customer stories online to show just how real we are. Perhaps try and read the sale T & Cs before purchasing and take some accountability rather then slander and blame the company who have done nothing but try hard to get your order out as quickly as they can. 50-70% off items are sold below cost , which means we do not have the funds to hire hundreds of staff to fast track these . We work with the small team we have, give the best service possible and provide a quality product that is actually deigned from scratch and simply cannot be bought elsewhere. Hence why you purchased from us in the first place . There is no aggression here, we just actually stand up for ourselves and staff and do not stand for rudeness and disrespect.
It is strange how you go to great lengths to leave constant negative reviews to small businesses accusing them of being “ dodgy” both on google and trust pilot when things don’t happen quick enough , even when you are yourself a business owner in the same industry as us. It seems the entitlement is real. Pull your head in, we are not robots, we are humans , we deserve to be treated with respect just like any other business or person. Our hundreds of 5 star reviews on Google are a testament to who we are and our outstanding service and product. However we all know you aren’t a real business if you don’t get the spiteful ones from the odd entitled bunch right?
We have done the best we can and sorry your wife has had to go to great lengths to prove her utter disappointment by both of you leaving a 1 star review. Great job team 👏🏻

Salty Shreds has amazing designs, styles and fabrics for all the family. I can buy products that suit us all-from Grandma, to my adult kids, to the grandkids. My buying online experience was easy. My purchases arrived within an acceptable time frame. SS uses excellent quality material that washes well. We all have a go on the balance board-some better than others!!

I love everything I have ever purchased from this store, the sizing is accurate, the quality is amazing , the colours are divine.
The postage can take some time, but that's made very clear on their website when ordering because they are a small family business. But so long as you have patience, your order will come and it will not be a disappointment at all.
Iv bought goodies, jackets, kids bathers, skirts, denim , t shirts... honestly all amazing.
Don't listen to the fake reviews on here. Just have patience and enjoy the beauty of an Aussie business.

We do try and be as transparent as possible during these times. Our normal dispatch is 1-3 business days, and sales can significantly increase these time frames, but your order will always come. ABUSED BY THE OWNER OVER MY REVIEW-3 weeks for 2 little dresses and a jump…
EDIT: after leaving a review (below), I was immediately sent an email from the owner of the company demanding that I remove it- she stated the I’m disgusting for being honest about my experience- she attempted to guilt trip me into removing it stating that I had purchased clearance items and had no right to be unhappy about the almost month wait time, as other people had paid full price. This is absolutely unacceptable- I paid postage and purchased the items just like anyone else, but according to the owner of this business, you go to the back of the line unless you pay full price instead of paying a discounted price. The owner has sent me two abusive emails today, demanding that I remove the review and to never buy anything from their business again- she stated that I’m now “banned” 😂 from buying anything from their website because of my honest review.
Be careful with this company- they’re abusive - they’re slow in posting your items and take zero responsibility for their actions!
3 weeks for 2 little dresses and a jump suit to arrive in the post- clothes were okay- no dramas there- but if you plan on needing the items don’t plan on getting them within a reasonable time frame

I was hesitant in responding here but honestly, I think the online world deserves an honest and real point of view. As i am sure , I am not the only one who has dealt with Damon Bradley.
Damon left a 1 star review based on the dispatch time frame for a couple of items he purchased at $10 a piece, that are from our " Bin here" and outlet collection. Which we state very clearly online that the time frame to dispatch is a lot longer, due to the insane volume we receive. These products are giveaways and brand new, amazing quality but we are selling at below cost to make space in our warehouse.
I politely emailed and explained again why he received his order in a couple of weeks, and explained in length the product, our small business, my four little ones I juggle and how hard we try and work to move things as fast as possible. I kindly asked if he wouldn't mind removing his review, as it has a huge negative impact on our family and business and was super disappointing when we truly tried our best.
There was not one abusive word or tone in the email, in fact, he then abused myself and told me he would go harder and leave reviews all over the internet and how he doesn't care about family ect ect. That i had no right to ask him to remove his review ( which is correct, I have no right to expect him to remove his review, but i reached out , as a parent to another parent, explaining circumstances hoping he would have some sort of understanding & heart ). HIs response was disgusting to say the least, almost like he had some personal vendetta or something or has been through this before with other businesses or Women. He then threatened me further, to which i asked him to never return to our store and called him out for his appalling nasty email.
We are not robots, we are people. We deserve respect and he has continued to harass me in which I have had to actually issue him a cease and desist notice. I would love him to share this so called " abuse".
His outbursts are a little crazy to say the least, and he has been blocked on all platforms and yes, banned from our store .
Happy to chat about this further for anyone who wants to email me directly - see correspondence for peace of mind :)
In the meantime, don't let some crazy nut on the internet get you down or ruin your day like I did. It's simply not worth it guys, and certainly not what we are about.

Missing Order -- No Help
Order placed, tracking info without any helpful tracking. Package has been stuck for over 2 weeks without updates. Customer service is non-existent. Have now contacted 2x on the website and through customer service email without ANY response. Parcel service is just as terrible, cannot submit inquiry or claim. Lost my $140 dollars to this poorly run, all aesthetic, no substance company.

Hi Lana, This is completely incorrect. You failed to pickup your parcel. We emailed you 5 times prior to this ( I have all the correspondence proof), and asked you to pick up your parcel awaiting collection as you were not home. We expressed the importance of picking it up so it was not sent back. You then lodged a Chargeback and cost us more money, and we never got the parcel back, and are now out of pocked the money + additional fees and the goods. You did not lose anything, so anything you have posted here is a complete lie. Happy to share with anyone who needs the proof :)
Terrible customer service and poor…
Terrible customer service and poor quality for the price they ask. I spent over $100 and one pair of pants had poor stitching and small holes created from poor stitching. At first they were happy for me to send back but made it clear if they didn’t deem it faulty I would need to pay the return postage. Of course they didn’t deem them faulty and took no responsibility for the small holes in the fabric, instead telling me me would wash out and wear out (yeah right!) To get the pants back I had to pay postage or cut the loss. As I suspected, my son wore the pants, the hole stretched as it was on the bottom and the stitching on the other side (other back pocket) has now pulled another hole in the fabric. What happened to keep customers happy so they come back, Ash clearly does not value her customers nor her product. I wish I read these reviews before, would not and will not waste my money here again. I have friends appalled by her email responses and lack of customer care, they too will not be returning. I showed several people the pants and all said they would have asked for a refund or change over, if they received the same item, even if it was on sale for $30.
