Even if this company wasn't closing down I would never order from them again thanks to David from customer service, what a rude person to deal with, unable to help with any problem caused by Scents Soaps and Candles, if you don't want to help people with problems your company causes (aka do your job) then maybe get a job where you don't have to deal with people directly, instead of being so rude and condescending.

Disappointed with the customer service from David at Scents Soaps & Candles. Received wicks with unclear labeling, making them unusable. Despite this being their mistake, they refused to cover return postage. Given this attitude, it’s no surprise they’re closing down—good customer service matters. I also see how others are spoken to on here in the responses from the company- very unprofessional.

Update: I am sure this reply is from David! There was no demand (I have the emails if you’d like me to post them!) it was a polite request to return them, but not at my expense. You have said that you “identified” the wicks but I’m not going to use them as they could be a size 10 or 16 which makes a huge difference. In actual fact you’ve guessed what the wicks could be! I’ve only gone to use the wicks this week, and shouldn’t have to check if the writing on them is legible on receipt!

Terrible customer service, I have been buying for over a year now but the last 6 months their quality and customer service has been declining.
David from customer services is specially rude when answering to customers.
If you place an order with this company and need ANY type of help you’re better off just making a chargeback with your credit card as they either refuse to help or don’t even bother to reply to you.
Extremely disappointed as this was one of my fixed suppliers but will be buying from Nikura, Fragrance Oil Studio and Craftovator from now on

I have sent three emails over the last month asking for advice and received no response at all. I have been using this company for a long time but will place my large xmas and subsequent orders with the two companies that responded with very helpful advice.

To all you fellow customers. Yesterday I won my case against the owner Mr T Gibson in our trial in Court. He violated my consumer rights and mistreated me after I faithfully purchased from his online store.

I sincerely hope that this experience for him will serve as a wake up call and he won’t repeat the same nasty behaviour towards people who give him custom in the future.

I’m afraid he completely embarrassed himself and walked out of Court with his tail between his legs.

Although he was horrible to me, I actually hope that he can self reflect and better himself through this defeat and financial loss.

Simply Perfect.

Placed an order as a new customer yesterday morning and my items arrived at 9:30 am today. Everything was well packed and arrived in perfect condition. Will definitely be ordering from scentssoapsandcandles.co.uk again. Very impressed.

Always find the delivery experience with these guys super fast and reliable, unlike a lot of other suppliers in the space. Recommend!

Unfortunately, the item I ordered turned out to be not as described on the product page. I contacted the seller, offering to return the item, but they did not accept a return and refused to refund me. After several messages, they stopped responding to me. Thankfully, I had paid for the item using PayPal and I used PayPal's, buyer protection. PayPal reviewed the case and refunded me in full. I would not recommend 'Scents Soaps & Candles' due to the awful service I received. If you really must purchase something from them, please make sure you pay for the item using PayPal, Credit Card or another method with buyer protection, so you can claim a refund including the cost of postage paid when ordering your product if your purchase goes bad.

Ordered 3000ml of oils. Including Amber, Patchouli and Bergamot.

There is no way Bergamot has weak scent. Unusual. Looks like it was diluted with Almond oil or other carrier oil. Very bad.

Another is an Amber oil, as they call it Egyptian Amber oil, not real Amber scent. Very sweet and also seems to be diluted with something as smell is weak and smells absolutely different. I'm absolutely not happy with my order and paid over £220.00

In their return policy they said: you can return anything back for refund, but You are paying for postage, and you can't return oils. (But that's what they sell)

Will definitely let people in all groups and social communities and groups know that quality of thr product is bad and absolutely not what we know as Amber oil and Bergamot oil.

Best company for candle jars and soy wax, the fragrance oils could use some work but everything else is of the best quality.
I've bought over 500 candle jars, only 2 came damaged once and after sending evidence they kindly replaced the damaged jars.

Purchased from Scents Soaps and Candles twice now. Scents are really great and make lovely smelling candles. Even handier is the ability to collect from the warehouse which is local to where I live.

I'd probably buy even more if the warehouse had a shop where you could browse and smell the Scents before buying, but then that would be bad for my wallet.

Easy to order quick delivery cannot recommend highly enough

Products are good quality and arrive when said. Just a shame the 1kg bags of was was only 780 grams.
Shame the company wasn’t interested when I sent photos. This wasn’t my first order, purchased many times. But this will be my last.
Shocking customer services!
It’s just a shame I cannot upload a picture I took, showing this, showing the bag doesn’t touch the work surface. Also I have the original box DPD delivered and there is no weight on the box.

I placed an order yesterday with “scent and soap candles UK”. Received my items today! All present and correct. My fragrance oils smell amazing. I will definitely use this company again. Highly recommended.

Very happy with my order. Good quality, fast delivery, can’t wait to use my wax from my hives over Xmas to make some candles.

Only suggestion would be to have more Selection in accessories, such as meting pots, metal spoons etc.

I placed my first order recently and everything was great. Very quick dispatch, a slight delay of 1 day due to DPD, not Scents Soaps and Candles, but tracking was provided and arrived the next day and still in time for what I needed. The prices were very competitive and the products were great, the wax worked beautifully and the scents were amazing, I especially loved the Sparkling Fizz and Citrus scent! Thank you.
