Please advise why you canceled my order. I have been a client of JM Bullion for years now, and my brother said I should give SD Bullion a try as you guys had good inventory and fair pricing.

I set up an account on your website, shopped for awhile and made a purchase. Received the Order Confirmation # and planned on wiring the funds from my bank account today to complete the transaction. Then, this morning before 6am my time, I received an email telling me you canceled my order and did not provide a reason for the cancellation.

This is definitely NOT a good first experience with your company, and I’d like to know why you canceled the order. As I check the current price of what I thought I had purchased from you, the price is almost $2,000 higher than when I made the purchase initially.

I’m puzzled why you would do this to me - please explain.

Posting this so others don’t get blindsided.

On 1/25/2026, I placed an order with SD Bullion for two 5‑oz silver rounds. Planned to pay by wire, but my bank wouldn’t process it. I immediately emailed SD Bullion to cancel.

Meanwhile, on 1/28/2026, I placed a bigger order with them — 20 Silver Eagles. So it’s not like I was trying to dodge anything. I was still giving them business.

SD Bullion didn’t touch the original order for almost a full month. Then on 2/24/2026, they finally canceled it — the same order I had already tried to cancel back in January.

Today (3/24/2026) I get a “Cancellation Invoice” for $245.41:
• $57.61 cancellation fee
• $187.80 “market loss”

Here’s the part that makes no sense: when I emailed them to cancel in late January, spot had gone UP, not down. And the 1/28/2026 order I placed was at an even higher spot price. So the idea of a “market loss” doesn’t line up with actual pricing at the time.

When I called them today, I was told cancellations must be done by phone, per their User Agreement. This requirement was never shown during checkout, never mentioned in the confirmation email, and never included in any communication I received. Yet it was used to justify charging me fees a month later.

And here’s the ironic part:

They hammer you with marketing emails constantly — multiple per week — so it’s not surprising people assume email is an acceptable way to communicate with them. But apparently, when it comes to cancellations, email suddenly doesn’t count.

I paid the invoice just to be done with it, but after this experience:

I won’t be doing business with SD Bullion again, and I strongly recommend others consider this experience before ordering from them.

Always prompt delivery and what you expected

good pricing, fair customer service ... received a 5 oz Libertad with edge damage...reported to CS thinking it would be handled by comp next order as I did not want to send back. Sent pics and invoice of damage. Nothing.

The silver I've bought from S Dis exquisite. I'm planning on cashing some of my silver in two years and buy a brick, detached house in a couple more in DC, and SD is the only Bullion dealer I plan to use to accomplish this goal. Thank you.

Easy. To order

Ordered four ounces of silver early December 2025 online. No order number appeared. Money was transferred by ACH. I have been sending emails and tried several times calling. No answer when calling. Response to emails is vague and superficial stating we need to send complaint by email used for order. Sent complaint with the order email and still get brushed off. Complaint to Ohio state regulator, as well as lawsuit are incoming.

I was informed from the beginning to the date of delivery . Good business to deal with that takes good good of their customers whether they are like old friends or newly customers.

Spoke with Jason; he was very helpful and accommodative.

Great this was my third order everything was going smoothly

I appreciate SD Bullion requiring a signature upon delivery. I travel frequently and am not always home to take delivery.
I feel secure in the fact that once shipped, an accountability trail is initiated through the requirement of someone at my address to take physical possession of my order.

Ease of use on the site.

I have worked with SD Bullion several times and I wouldn’t buy or sell to anyone else! They make it so easy and I have always bought or sold at a great price. Absolutely recommend them to everyone!

SD Bullion is charging me money for a product I never purchased. They are sending me to collections over $69.25. I attempted to purchase silver by connecting my bank account but our bank wouldn’t allow it so I called and left a message that I need to cancel the order. To be clear they have never shipped me any product and are now demanding I pay a restock fee and penalties since they deny they received a message to cancel the order. So I called today and was hoping a human would treat another human like a human. Nope. They said the best I can do is buy something else from them as they cannot just delete the order. I have a feeling they can. And should. Especially just to be a decent company which I could say nice things about if they would have just taken care of it. Don’t ever shop here. Ever

SD Bullion is the best! I’ve purchased gold and silver coins and bullion from about six different companies through the years, and SD Bullion is my favorite. The prices and selection are great, shipping is fast, and no order is ever lost in the mail. With the increase in the cost of precious metals over the past year, I also plan to sell some back to SD at some point to see how that process goes. In my experience the people of SD Bullion have demonstrated themselves to be very trustworthy.

I purchased a PAMP gold bar from SD Bullion based on the product image displayed on their website, which clearly showed the bar with a QR code. However, the item I received did not include the QR code and therefore did not match the product representation shown online.

When I contacted customer service (Jocie B) to return the item due to this discrepancy, I was informed that the return would be processed based on the current market price, which would result in a financial loss to me, despite the fact that the product delivered differed from the item advertised.

In my view, this constitutes a misrepresentation of the product and an unfair return practice. When a customer receives an item that does not match the advertised description, the seller should accept the return and issue a full refund without imposing market-based adjustments.

I’m very happy with my purchase, the wait time was a little longer than I anticipated but everything else was great, I should mention that when I made my purchase of silver, the silver market was going crazy, this was just before it went up to triple digit highs, so the demand for stock went through the roof, which probably caused some of the extra time, I’m sure.
