Purchased "Large Cooked and Peeled…
Purchased "Large Cooked and Peeled Black Tiger King Prawns (500g)" for £15.00
to replace" Iceland 300g ,£5.00 Arctic Black Tiger King Prawns which is currently un-available.
seafoodbysykes version was totally "tasteless & bland" & costs more than Iceland.
Also "XXL Cold Water Cooked & Peeled Prawns (454g)"-£9.00 I'd give a c-plus.
I think its better to purchase from major supermarkets ,Iceland,Tesco taste is far better & works out cheaper.

I'm sorry to hear that you weren't satisfied with your order from Seafood by Sykes. Arctic Royal is a brand owned by Sykes Seafood and the products you've mentioned are from the same region, packaged in the same factory and everything you received is identical in terms of quality and preparation to products that we stock in Iceland.
I also regret that you did not enjoy our XXL Cold Water Prawns. Again, these are a Royal Greenland product that is identical to those stocked in Supermarkets by their brand. Please also understand that we're a small business operating in our first year. Encouraging potential customers to use major supermarkets can be extremely damaging and these huge franchise chains can afford to pay less for what they stock and sell it for less. We offer a first class frozen delivery service that we believe is among the best in the UK for businesses of our size. This is why our costs may seem higher than what you would find in a supermarket.
I can't see that you've tried to contact us regarding you order which is disappointing as we always aim to make our customers happy, give product recommendations and do what we can to turn your experience with us around.

Why we love seafood
OMG. First time buyer of Sykes Seafood and have to say how much I was impressed by the quality of the produce on offer. Especially the smoked salmon ( you could end war with this, truthfully) Sincerely recommend it. 10/10

Cant fault the service
Cant fault the service, delivery,quantity or product,my first time ordering seafood and my first time eating seafood, lobster was lovely and so were the king prawns....scallops are a no no from me , ,really don't know what all the fuss is about them :/

Really good quality fish, large fillets frozen from fresh. I’m very impressed, I will keep reordering every month. Thank You for a great service reasonable prices and quick delivery.

Amazing
Amazing. Best seafood ever. I always order the boxes and it works out cheaper. Salmon is brilliant quality and cod loins are large and great too. Best are the cooked prawns that they usually out in as a freebie with your box. Massive , juicy little blighters!

Just 1 star My seafood which i purchased for a surprise early Valentine’s Day meal wasn’t great . The Muscle were robbery and my Fish Had no test . The sea food was obviously kept in the freezer for a long time So i do not recommend them and I will never order again 👎

Everything was AMAZING
Everything was AMAZING! I am an avid seafood lover - though trying crab and lobster properly for my first time through them! And it was so fresh and so delicious and delicate. Everything was fresh and packed tightly and securely.
As well as this, the delivery time came a lot earlier than planned and this was amazing!
Everything was perfect and you’ve made me very happy for my anniversary. Will be ordering again and you’ve got a customer for life.

Fantastic website - I've used Hello Fresh and Gousto before, but I thought Seafood by Sykes had a more intuitive website. Choice was amazing, and I've just ordered my third box. Can't wait to try some of their new range!
