A decent data scraping service with a slippery, lawyerly, sleazy, gotcha business model.

This was a useful service that I attempted to cancel once I realized that I did not use it all that much.

I received a call from someone purporting to help me with it. I told that person that I no longer wanted the product, and he told me that I had missed the 60-day notice cancelation period, spelled out deep in the fine print of the loong contract.

It didn't matter that I had made repeated attempts to cancel my subscription via email and phone calls before. I had not submitted an official authorized cancellation in the official, authorized manner, and so they were determined to charge me an additional $2,600 for another year of a service that I did not want. And try they did, over and over until finally they hit my card on file just before my mortgage was due.

I do not treat people and I do not treat my customers in this way. If someone no longer wants my services, and they tell me so repeatedly, I respect their wish.

It seems that this slippery, lawyerly, sleazy gotcha tactic is their business model.

If you need contact info data scraping services I recommend you try one of their many fine competitors, who hopefully do not rely on a sleazy cancellation policy to get customers to come back for a second and final year.

Horrible. I am being continuously harrassed. I cancelled many months ago and yet their system is still trying to run my card. I have written many times to their accounts section but it falls on deaf ears. This company will soon be out of business. STAY AWAY.

Also, read the fine print. You have to give them 60 days notice to cancel. They also don't send you reminders because their purpose is to covertly try and trick you on their terms of service.

Terrible customer service. Tried to cancel, wouldnt let me, auto renewed for another year. The product(information) I did recieve from them seemed to be incomplete and outdated. Stay away from this outfit.

They don't comply with GDPR, I don't know why EU authorities don't fine them

It's against LinkedIn's TOS to automate the collection of user data. Beware!

A bunch of gangsters that's all I can say, there is zero service and they tried to collect money after the contract expired and they actually threaten you stay away from this company

The opener Zack- convinced me to take a demo with a promise of every car dealer in USA and manager contact numbers. 1 min into the zoom demo the presenter let me know that i had to import my contacts (they don't provide). I explained why I'm now angry and he (click) killed the zoom. Terrible experience from opener's lie to presenter's handling of an aggrevated prospect.

This product does not use AI. This product sources from all publicly available information and serves mostly to get outdated information about small to midsize companies. It is a web and database scraping tool using a simple script. It also attaches a chrome extension to your browser to scrape your information. someone wrote a scrip that scrapes the web. The marketing folks here decided to use the word AI which is not true. Then they hire salespeople that get youon and off the phone in 30 minutes with high pressure transactional sales . You then sing an agreement that locks you in for a year with a 60 day notice out close or you get automatically renewed. No reputable enterprise organization uses this tool. It is a marketing gimmick that is making young kids rich and its executive team. They pay so little to run the script that they can afford to pay out huge commissions to any kid that is aggressive enough to sell seats to this garbage. Be warned . This product does not deploy or use AI and it is a scam.

Before you sign with is platform allow me to warn you.

The data is outdated and full of useless info. Looks good when you start but it fizzles out under a deeper dive.

Lusha (lusha.com)provides the same info for a fraction of the cost. FYI, I am not affiliated with Lusha.

Customer service is horrid. And, the cancellation process is when they put the noose around your neck. You can’t cancel by the industry standard of, “at any time.”

You have to cancel 60 days out.

My experience is this is a waste of money from a platform with bad results and worse customer care.

Like others on here, I didn't realize they had an autorenew clause with a 60 day advance notice you have to provide. We paid for one year because a salesperson of ours at the time wanted to use it. We agreed to try it the first year. No where did I catch the auto-renew. Totally my fault for not catching that but what a total scam of a company this is. We've not used their service in a year and yet still just dished out thousands more. I tried disputing with AmEx and they reversed the dispute.

This whole platform is outdated data. Total waste of money and they keep trying every other day to charge my credit card. Run !!! They lie and put on pressure with different salespeople to sign you up.

Companies is very outdated and not useful. I started using Zoominfo and found it to be a kick better and more up to date database.

I’m addition, you have to sign up for a one year service with Seamless.
I was unaware that there was an auto renewal in place when I signed up. I had quit using Seamless for several months prior to my year being expired. When I found out I was charged by Seamelss I told them I was unaware of the renewal and that I no longer used the service.

Seamless said since I did not contact them 60 before the service was to renew that I would not be given any refunds.

I live in Washington state and the contract law states the service provider is supposed to send a reminder that a service is up for renewal prior to the service being renewed. I pointed out to Seamless that they are in violation of Washington State law. Seamless did not care about the law and refused to refund me. I have filed a complaint with the Washington AG office against Seamless.

Anyone that does business like this is very unethical. I would highly recommend not subscribing or using Seamless AI.

They tell you lies to get your money, friendly until to join and spend your money, then you can't find anyone for help. 60% of the contacts were returned, bad emails, bad phone numbers and most of the contacts didn't even work at the companies anymore. This platform is a waste of time and money. B.S. After your cancel they will continue billing you, trying to hit your credit card and will send your info to a collection agency. Bad Bad company.
