I'd used Noom before, and this is a sub-parr version of that. Referred to via the NHS, totally unsuitable for my needs.

Giving public money to something like this is a disgrace. Whomever decided that this third party product was suitable for the NHS needs to be investigated for fraud.

No contact, not great to use. I'll try to make this awful tool work for me out of sheer bloody mindedness, cursing the folk who built it all the way.

I am 2 months into the programme and so far the service has been great, There is a lot of support available and I love the community on the app which helps me to understand that some of the side effects I feel are normal. Thank you SN.

Delighted with second nature - initially for accepting me onto their programme where others had not, and secondly for the "complete package" offered - not just the drugs but the care that goes along side it.

I did not qualify for the NHS Funded Weight Loss Program but my GP referred me to Second Nature and initially I started with their Nutritional Program but requested to swap to the Weight Loss Program after a few weeks as I was eating healthily enough but still not losing weight. The switch from one program to the other was simple and quick and the entire program has been exceptional. They provided me with a Recipe Book (all the recipes are absolutely delicious and simple to make), Digital Scale that sync's to the App that allows you to track your weight, sleep, steps and also has the recipes online. You are part of a group which includes chats and advice from other members and also has 1:1 chats with a coach. The program also provides daily articles and podcasts that are very helpful and enlightening. On a monthly basis the team contact me for 'check in's' which assess your progress and your choice to increase your dosage or remain. Once the check in is complete they use DPD to deliver the medication and this is also managed by the team at Second Nature. You are given a date and time frame for delivery and each delivery has been on time. I was able to plan my day around it within a 2 hour window. I was prescribed Mounjaro and started at the lowest dosage. Initially I was experiencing heart flutters but my coach referred me to a pharmacist that contacted me telephonically to discuss the issue. He advised that it was probably trapped gas pushing against my diaphragm and by the next dosage this had stopped and I've not had any further side effects even at 7.5mg. He did also advise that if it felt more 'serious' that I should go to A&E but fortunately that was not necessary. This program has been a fantastic learning tool even with the medication at a higher cost than other suppliers but with everything that they provide it has been worth it (they do however, have a loyalty program and the pricing slides down instead of up month to month and dose to dose unlike other suppliers whose prices increase with the higher doses). Up until the recent price hike with Eli Lilly I have been very happy being on the Second Nature Weight Loss Program (as a private paying client) but the recent unexpected price hikes have made the new pricing structure unaffordable and out of my planned budget for a long term program and I must look at other suppliers to continue with Mounjaro but I feel that I have learned enough on the program to be able to manage my weight loss journey to my goal and beyond and hopefully I will eventually be able to maintain my goal weight rather than regain the weight because of the weight loss education I received on this program.

Only on week 3. Coach is very helpful and there is lots of help and information on the group. All other participants are able to compare experiences.
Not an easy journey, side effects from medication just have to work through

I can not praise Second Nature enough. Since even enquiring about SN I have had constant contact & support. Once I joined the programme I was given a designated health coach and am part of a group of other members who are also on their weight loss journey. There is never any pressure & you can choose to stay on lower dose of medication if you want to. I would highly recommend Second Nature

Second Nature have taught me the science behind the food we eat and understanding why some foods are eaten together so that ratio of sugar and fats does not get stored in body but work together helping balance and provide nutrients to sustain a healthy life style and help to keep energy levels even.
