We have just had the most amazing guy on the phone named Bill. We are a retired couple in our 70s and he talked us through all the procedure on our account as we are not that good with IT and sorted it for us. Definitely first class service from him and worthy of a mention. Thanks again Bill!

Though I have had few interactions so far with II, I was very pleased with the speed of response and advice to my online query. My phone call to the Helpline was also very quick and efficient. I spoke to a young man called Dean who was extremely helpful, patient and resourceful. The whole experience was pleasant and successful- not something one often gets these days! Keep up the good work.

Impossible to contact poor customer service
Impossible to contact. II's online login is hopeless. You have to try repeatedly to receive a text code to login in but the texts never come. You then have to wait ages on the phone to get through to customer services who are slow, pedantic and not at all helpful
"Going the extra mile" for his client
Abrdn recently transferred 3 investment plans to I.I. without my consent. I had need to "hunt them down" so that I could encash them. Having done so, I then tried to encash them, but without success, as the I.I. system was not able to send me a 6-digit reference number to my mobile phone to complete the transaction. Despite a couple of calls over a number of days, nobody seemed to know why, even though they were really trying to be helpful, until at the third time of calling, I was then put through to "Billy" who tried every manner and means to sort the matter out, keeping "at it" with several departments, keeping me informed at every stage of a 30 minute call, until he got an answer (a glitch in their system). Billy then suggested (with a bit of lateral thinking) an alternative route which his boss approved, and I got my money the next day. He was brilliant! And I told him so. I.I should know about Billy's excellent customer service on their behalf.

Excellent customer service. I needed help with sourcing consolidated tax certificates, dividends and interest for tax purposes. Also needed to change my address. The person who answered my call is called Abby. She couldn’t have been more helpful. I was talked through the whole process in a patient and knowledgeable way. Thank you so much.

I got excellent help and support from the ii advisor Ola. He spotted that there was an error in my email details that had been stopping me from logging in . I have a hearing disability, and would normally prefer to avoid using the telephone, but Ola patiently put up with me asking him to repeat what he had said until I got everything done that I needed to do.
Sam was very clear
Sam was very clear, polite, with a friendly tone on the phone.
He kept me informed at each stage of my query as to how he was addressing the problem, to whom he was talking and how long approximately the wait would be.
My query was dealt with, and confirmation on what would occur after the call was concluded wS to be by secure message.
I am happy with the call, and the manner it was handled.
