Lost my entire drive thanks to an overactive grandchild. I had a lot of pictures going back at least 10 years and also some very important files. The process of contacting and getting the drive to securedatarecovery.ca was smooth and effortless. Had a hard drive that would not initialize, could not get it to do anything. Had 8+ years of back up data on it. I am a retired Navy Cryptologist, my story is I have corrupt data on my NAS drive that contained pictures from my 9/11 deployment that is irreplaceable to me. I called Secure Data Recovery for help. Chris McMacken answered at the other end. I explained that I went to another company and after waiting 4 weeks just to find out that they couldn't do anything for me. Chris explained in detail the entire process and was confident that they could retrieve that data. He then within minutes sent me an email with a customer service number assigned to me. I dropped off the drive and the NEXT day they sent me an email confirming that it was in their hands and diagnose with the problem and a solution. A quote was given and the scope of work needed. The entire process was painless and flawless.

My laptop hard drive crashed. I could boot off a DVD and a USB drive. However, Dell could not manage to walk me through restoring my Image Data Backup. After three days I pretty much gave up on Dell. Sure, they shipped me a new hard drive overnight. But even though I backed up regularly, I could not get my data back. All my tax data was on that drive. So much for going paperless. I googled and found that Secure Data Recovery had the best reputation, so I call them and was routed to Rob Anderson. He emailed me a FedEx label and I shipped the drive to him. They diagnosed what went wrong. They took the drive into a clean room and data platter by platter, sector by sector. They gave me access to a list of the directories and a list of the files they could recover. I told them to go ahead. In a few days I had everything that had been on my old drive back. They were fast, courteous, responsive to my many requests for status updates, they got the job done, and they have one very satisfied customer. Even though it was not inexpensive, when you absolutely need the data back, you absolutely have to go to Secure Data Recovery. Bob, you saved the day. And I took away a lesson. Mirror your drives. Don;t depend on being able to get your backup back. The cost of an additional drive or two is not much compared to getting back your data. However, if it's too late for that, it's not too late, provided you go to Secure Data Recovery

Lost a data drive with my life and work on it, just after I lost my backup. Secure Data Recovery delivered as promised, all is well, and Rob couldn't have been more helpful.

One of our clients had all there financial information on there local hard drive. Never backed it up. One day the hard drive started clicking and all the sudden was broke. We sent the drive in, and with a day or two we proceceeded with the recovery. After about 4 days they had sent us a list of files able to be recovered. I worked with Rob Anderson on a failed 1 TB hard drive that was about 3/4 full of raw and edited high definition video files. Even though I had backed up the disk using a cloud service, it turned out that because the disk failed, the back up service deleted my cloud data after 30 days. I recently, and unfortunately, had the need for a data recovery service. After researching several services, I decided on Secure Data Recovery based on the service description and customer reviews. I contacted SDR and was able to drop my hard drive off locally for shipment to their lab. I was contacted by a representative who was very helpful and communicative throughout the process. Within a few days, I received an assessment of the likelihood of recovering my data and the cost to use a recovery service again, but if I do, I'll head straight to Secure recover it. It wasn't cheap, but recovering my data was critical and I wanted the work to be done by a company that I felt I could trust. Ultimately, most of my data was recovered and returned to me. I was trying to format my computer hard drive and forgot to disconnect my external hard drive from the computer. I hurried and set the computer to format the drive so I could reload Windows and when I came back it showed that I had formatted the wrong drive. I was devastated because we had all our baby pictures and important things saved on that external drive. I didn't think we could do any thing until I spoke with Rob at SecureDataRecovery. I would like to thank everyone who helped with literally saving my practice. Early this December, my computer failed and I LOST 18 years worth of data due to 2 failed hard drives. I lost everything, chart notes, x-rays, patient history, all my account information, my entire schedule past, present and future. All of my accounts receivables.
