We really enjoyed our three virtual sessions with Sydney. This was my second birth, and I wanted to feel informed and confident about all aspects of childbirth. With my first, I went in unsure of what questions to ask and what the procedures actually involved and meanings of medical terms. Sydney covered everything thoroughly and in a way that was easy to understand, which helped me feel calm and mentally prepared. I went on to have a really positive birth experience and am so grateful for the knowledge and guidance. Thank you!

Sydney is honestly so amazing! Not only is she incredible knowledgable, she listens to you which I have really enjoyed throughout the process! Her classes are a mix of techniques to help during labour, preparation and education which has been brilliant and very helpful so far! She’s so attentive and always gets back to you on any questions outside of the classes too. I can’t recommend her enough to any soon to be mums out there! She’s also hilarious, which makes it even better 🤍

As first time parents, the whole having a baby and what to expect at birth was completely new to us. We only had friends and family experiences (people love to tell you their birthing stories).

Sydney went through all the possible scenarios and what can happen. She talked through aspects of the birth i was nervous or unsure of. The most importantly she put things into prospective and gave us statistics and the right information.

I went into my birth with a set of preferences. All of which I was unable to do because of our particular circumstances. This is where Sydney and her course became the most valuable, as we together as a couple were able to ask the right questions, which gave us the confidence to trust ourselves and the decisions we made.

My birth was not what i envisioned but i felt i was not just a passenger, and I felt I part of the decision making process. In the end our son was delivered safely and I had a positive birthing experience.

Finding Sydney was such a a godsend.

She really enabled me to be ready for labour. I had ideas of what I wanted and could handle but through her calm approach she made comfortable with every possible obstacle I could face on the path of meeting my baby.

Her recorded meditations are so peaceful, I also used them when my little one was struggling to sleep and they have continued to help me find my inner calm.

I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Her straight forward approach combined with holistic techniques helped me to feel prepared.

She is so supportive and was there when ever I needed advice including helping me feel informed for going to my final appointments with my consultants knowing I was having my opinions taken into account.

I believe I managed the first stage of labour so well as she guided me so well in our sessions together.

Sydney provides such a safe and comfortable atmosphere during her hypnobirthing classes. She provided us, as a couple, with amazing tools and knowledge in preparation for such a massive experience and put us completely at ease. I had quite a full on birth experience due to circumstances out of our control but utilised all of the tools Sydney had provided and it genuinely helped and made a big difference! Highly recommend Sydney and her hypnobirthing classes and am truly grateful for a wonderful experience!

Sydney is simply fantastic! I did a ‘top up’ session to refresh ready for my second birth, and actually learnt a whole lot more about hypnobirthing with Sydney. I am someone who likes to feel in control of a situation and birth obviously takes the path it chooses, however after my session I felt so much more confident and knowledgeable about different scenarios and had a very positive experience because of this. Which we are so so grateful for!
I particularly love that Sydney has midwifery knowledge and experience. The session was delivered clearly online and the communication we had coming up to my due date was really reassuring.

Sydney was a great support in my twin pregnancy and birthing experience. I was lucky enough to have her living with me at the time so I really got the first hand experience. She is extremely passionate about hypnobirthing and is very knowledgeable as a midwife. She supported me through my birth and was incredible, I really don’t think my birth would have been as smooth sailing as it was if it wasn’t from the knowledge I gained from Sydney. She instilled confidence in my ability to birth my twins and for that I’m forever grateful. I would highly recommend Sydney for hypnobirthing - she is a fantastic teacher!

Sydney was absolutely amazing. The education around labour and birth was unbelievable! It made me so calm as his due date approached, and even once I had finished all my sessions with Sydney she was always just a message away and talked me through those last couple of days! Couldn’t recommend her course more to any expecting parents wanting to be educated and best prepared for welcoming their baby into the world!

Wow..what can I say. I honestly feel so lucky to have found Sydney.

I opted for the online course. I started the process with so many worries and fears. After each video that I watched I felt more and more calm to the point where now I have just finished all 8 sessions and I feel so calm and ready for birth which is something I never thought I would say.

I have learnt so much, all of my questions and fears were addressed and you get some amazing tips and knowledge that you just wouldn’t get from someone that isn’t as highly qualified and experienced as Sydney.

I would highly recommend Serene Birthing to anyone.

Sydney was amazing! I began my pregnancy journey quite terrified of labour and birth. I had been told that it would be painful, difficult and require pain management. This is what I’d heard from friends and social media, which created beliefs that held a lot of fear. I thought Hypnobirthing would be a good place to start addressing the worries and concerns I had. Sydney was incredible in teaching me to reframe and create new beliefs about birth and my capacity to do this in a way that aligned with my values and birth preferences. She prepared and educated me for the interventions that may be offered in hospital and how to advocate for myself within a medical model. There was so much education within the course which I valued.

I really enjoyed my nightly meditations and continued these post birth. Sydney also offered check in messages which were so helpful! As a first time mum, there was so much anxiety so I really valued this.

Could not recommend Sydney enough. Not only does she have a wonderful course, that helped with my labour and birth, she is an incredibly warm and caring person who genuinely cares for the woman she supports. For anyone on the fence about Hypnobirthing, do it! You won’t regret it

We started working with Sydney when I was around 20(ish) weeks pregnant. I wanted to feel educated and empowered as I got further into my pregnancy and prepped for birth. Sydney made each session interesting and informative but mostly she made it feel relaxed. She talked us through everything and made me feel ready and prepared for the “big day”. When it came to my labour and birth I was educated and felt ready! The sessions taught my husband and I that we could advocate for what I wanted safely, but mostly they taught us that my body is doing what it needs to do to bring my baby into the world. The breathing techniques for each stage of labour were helpful and meant I could channel my energy and mind. I know that the techniques, support and guidance Sydney gave me over those weeks supported my labour and birth, which meant that my experience was positive and empowering. I would really recommend working with Sydney!

I had been extremely anxious during my pregnancy and was worried about birth. Sydney helped me and my partner break down all our concerns and gave really clear information which helped us make choices and even relax and enjoy parts of pregnancy. Although my birth was difficult and did end up being assisted, the skills Sydney taught me were invaluable for advocating for myself and my baby and really helped us to understand what happened and why certain decisions were made by the medical team. Sydney is calm, honest and kind and made such a difference to my pregnancy and birth. I would definitely recommend!
