Don't go to this garage. Brought a ford focus, in 3 weeks it experienced complete engine failure. We did our right to refuse, which they rudely argued with us about but finally accepted and cancelled the finance, but they are holding on the £2500 of our money. I went to collect a cheque as agreed and they argued with me and said I had to paid mileage and £120 valet. Said they would transfer the money a few days later nothing happened. No contact, so we called them only for more arguing and the promise of a letter which we are still waiting for a week later. We are going to have to take them to court if they don't give us our money. They are rude crooks, kept promising us paperwork for the car but it just never appeared. Don't trust them. Liars.

We have Mercedes B class 2015reg. from Dream Car. Very nice place and service. Very good staff (sale and mechanics).Always answer for my email very quick and sort my request quick was possible-Thank you.We will be back in Future to this place. It is safe place to buy car with very good garage, so if you need service you have all in one place. If you have any problems or questions staff is always happy to help. I wish say Thank you to this place and good luck in future. I saw bad opinion before and after in internet but in my opinion you can trust this place because they will sort all what you need. Also what i think is very important They have garage so any service or repair they will sort for you- Cars coming with warranty, so I will say you are in safe place. Approach with upmost caution and eyes wide open. I think I had a lucky escape here. Not being local, I put a deposit on a 4 year old car having discussed the car over the phone. The salesman had initially confirmed there was no service history because he told me that cars do not need a service for the first 3 years! First red flag! Phone call later and they had managed to source a dealership service history -great I thought. I asked when the service was last done, the response was its got 6 months left on it, when I pressed for the date of the last service it was Oct 24, we are now in July, so only just over 2 months left. 2nd red flag. I did ask that they put it through a full service and use original manufacturer parts, which they said they would. I asked how they would guarantee this, the response was, we will write it on the paperwork that we have done this. 3rd red flag (7 year warranty is invalid if faults occur due to non-original parts)! There was quite a bit of sales pressure at this point, where the salesman actually started to argue with me, which I did not appreciate. I then looked at the reviews on here, which matched up with others' negative experience. The car may well have been fine as well as the car service, but my trust had been lost due to the bull*hit that I had been given. Know your stuff before engaging in any conversation with them and take them with a heavy pinch of salt. Deposit was paid back without issue to be fair to them.

Must've been a quiet day to write all these reviews, and Google translate from "broken english" to the "queen's english" makes it sound even funnier haha. The keywords on each review is funny "professionalism, amazing, unbelievable, amazing salesman" who the hell even writes this after buying a 2nd/3rd hand car - it's not a day out at a swingers party, it's literally buying a car. Stay away from these blaggers, it'll cost you in the long run.

Akeel, polite, very helpful and nothing was to much trouble, would highly recommend, part exchanged my own vehicle and got a decent price and the deal was done straight away to everybody's satisfaction, and came away with a smile on my face.

I had to file a chargeback to get my £100 deposit back even after I called them to explain that I couldn’t afford the car anymore. Very rude on the phone too. AVOID!

I made a complaint via the car finance company and they had to pay out thousands for repairs as Shawn Dream Cars had clearly lied and neglected to fulfil their warranty.

Excellent service all round - great guys to buy and sell a car with. Was a really simple process with great prices. Nothing is too much trouble, it was late in the day when I visited and purchased and went way past closing time but as I’m not that local the effort was made so I could drive away that evening. Would highly recommend.

If I could give this place negative stars, I would. This dealership is the definition of a scam operation! They sold me a car that looked decent on the outside, only to break down two days later. Turns out, it was a lemon that should never have been on the road in the first place. They put on a great show of being helpful and trustworthy when you’re buying, but once you drive off the lot, they couldn’t care less about the disaster they’ve sold you.

Their customer service is a joke—they act shocked when you tell them the car they sold you is already falling apart. Instead of fixing the issue or even pretending to care, they gave me the runaround for weeks, trying to convince me it was somehow MY fault that THEIR junk car didn’t last a week. The moment they have your money, you’re dead to them. They refuse to honor their so-called “warranty,” which, as it turns out, is about as real as their honesty.

This place is nothing but a den of thieves selling overpriced, broken-down cars to unsuspecting customers. If you value your sanity, your wallet, and your time, avoid this place like the plague. I wouldn’t recommend this dealership to my worst enemy. Save yourself the headache and go literally ANYWHERE else!

Initially attracted to Shaun Dream Car due to the excellent prices. Was given a good p/x price for my car. I’m based up in Scotland and Akeel was able to arrange delivery for me quickly and much cheaper than other garages. Car is lovely, I’m very happy with it. Akeel always on hand to answer my questions. This is my first ever review on trust pilot and this is a genuine post - If you're googling reviews for this garage, please take this with a pinch of salt. None of these 5 star ratings are real, doesn't take a genius to see the patterns - I counted 56 5 star ratings on the autotrader website in one day, i don't even think thats even possible considering most reputable car dealerships don't get that in a month.



I wish i had done my research before purchasing my Vehicle, but hindsight is a great thing - So you have been warned guys, stay absolutely well clear of these guys and spend the extra to avoid hassle like myself.

I bought a Landrover discovery off these guys, and prior to buying it they replaced the timing chain as a good will gesture and at the time i thought great! Pick my car up a week later and drive back home, feeling really pleased with my purchase. Fast forward a month, my car goes into limp mode and i have limp it back home with an error "Oil levels critically low" - ok, no problems i top the car up with oil. A week goes by, the engine light appears and luckily i have a ECU scanner and i plugged the car in to find car faults! as i'm still in 'Warranty' i email shawns dream cars to let them know ive got issues and that i'll need this sorting. A week goes by no response, so i phone and i get the old "i'll get someone to call you back" This obviously never happened, so i then emailed again (so i had a paper trail) - still NOTHING. Shortly after this my car breaks down, absolutely dead. The RAC are called out and managed to get this back to my house, they plug their ECU scanner and it picked up 78 car faults! The faults were devastating the car would need a huge amount of repairs - The car has been off the road since may of 2023 and i'm still in back and forward with the finance company. The car has been stripped down to its bare bones (cost me £1000 to get this stripped) and the findings were unbelievable, the timing chain that got fitted was attached to ONE bolt, the piston rings and engine bearings melted, turbocharger disintergrated and all gaskets knackered. I got an independant report for this vehicle and they have catergorically said the car was purchased faulty with the castatrophic failings in such a short space of time. The truth is, the engine needs a full rebuild and the bill i've received is worth more than the car - The fact there was also a crack in the engine, the oil that was added to the vehicle was just leaking into the core of the engine and melting everything as this was burning at huge temperatures. They sold this car to me with my family and at the time a 6 month old baby knowing it was a deathtrap - so guys do your research and buy from a reputable garage.
