Terrible experience. I used shootproof through localgrapher thinking I would get high quality prints I got 4x6 prints when I ordered 10x15. No response from them on the issue despite several emails they just send back a response stating they will get back to me which they do not. I have filed a complaint with localgrapher and feel like I was taken advantage of paying for items I did not get and the 4x6 prints I did get were blurry. I do not recommend this company. Drugstore prints were better sadly.

I have been using ShootProof to deliver photo galleries to my clients for 16 years. The platform is easy for clients to navigate, and the ordering process is straightforward enough that they can complete purchases without needing any guidance from me. The promo code feature is something I use regularly to give clients print and digital credits as part of their packages, and it works exactly as expected.
Their support team is responsive when it matters. I once needed help with a reprint due to a lab error and they handled it quickly and professionally.
The one area where ShootProof falls short is the booking feature. It does not allow clients to choose from multiple packages, which makes it too basic for real-world use. I had to find a workaround outside the platform for that part of my workflow.
Overall, ShootProof does what it promises. If you are a photographer who needs a clean, client-friendly gallery delivery system with solid print fulfillment and dependable support, it is worth considering.

Shootproof always runs smoothly. They have a great user interface and offer great products at a great price for photographers like myself. On top of that, their staff is always friendly and helpful whenever I need support.
STAY FAR AWAY FROM THEM. THEY CHARGE WITH NO INVOICES, IT DOESN'T ALLOW YOU TO REMOVE YOUR CREDIT CARD. IT DOESNT ALLOW YOU DO DOWNGRADE. IT IS NOT MOBILE FRIENDLY. THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY WITH NO INVOICE.

I can't put zero star so one it is. Last month, I was very surprised to see a fee taken on my credit card for a service I'm not using (Archived gallery...I have none). After trying to reach out to Shootproof and not getting any answers, and not being able to stop the feature, it does not appear anywhere, I switched my card to a Virtual one that I canceled so the fee wouln't be taken anymore. And guess what, they tried to take money from my account again for a service I have never agreed to and that I'm not using either. I cancelled my account, but it won't be effective for this billing cycle...hpefully by the next one this is dealt with and I don't receive another email telling me I haven't paid.

I’ve used ShootProof for a year and honestly don’t recommend it. I joined after a 50% Black Friday deal, but the platform turned out to be outdated and full of issues. The interface looks old, the Spanish templates and invoices have typos, and their billing system overcharges you—they change album settings automatically to charge extra each month.
Their customer service is non-existent; they never reply to emails or chats. The so-called “new features” each year are minimal and don’t improve anything. They also don’t support many currencies, which is frustrating for international users.
After a full year of use, I can say ShootProof isn’t reliable or professional. They take your money, ignore your issues, and don’t deliver what they promise.
I signed up for SHootProof to deliver galleries to my clients this fall. I've heard from my clients that their experience is very easy and looks beautiful! I also decided to start using their booking feature so I wouldn't have to pay for my other service anymore (that was $25/month just for booking!). Setting up my sessions was easy and the learning curve was short :)

It's pretty apparent that they are not interested in solving the problems. Very disappointing
Customer service has gone way down hill over the last year or so. I would avoid them at all costs. They charge you when they’re not supposed to and if you disagree they don’t respond and close your account.
On 11.05.24, their system was hacked and customers charged $100 fraudulently - they sent an email to all customers to advise and stated stripe.com would reverse the charge in two days. As of today, 11.12.24, the charge has not been reversed so cancelled card and filed fraud complaint.

Went from loving it to hating it! I've used it for years and suddenly it all went downhill. One of my clients ordered prints for the first time and somehow I lost $55 on the entire order because Shootproof screwed up! For some weird reason, they decided to change the prices on my prints without telling me anything!!!! On top of that, there was a shipping fee that the client should have been charged (NOT ME) because that's how I set it up but they charged me!! And all the extra fees I was completely unaware of!!! I wrote to them 3 TIMES with a complaint and not a single of my emails has been answered!!!! It's been about a month and they're just simply ignoring me. Now I hate Shootproof with a passion and will LITERALLY NEVER USE THEM AGAIN!!!
I enjoy the product and I have tried a few different programs. However, be advised that if a buyer makes an error in their order and files a dispute, YOU, their paying customer, are charged a fee for the investigation of the dispute.
I received a notification that somebody had flagged the charge from Shootproof as fraudulent, upon investigation it was clearly an error on the part of the person purchasing pictures. I offered to resolve it directly with the customer, which I was happy to do, but Shootproof refused to remove the $15 charge for the "investigation."
Love this platform! ShootProof is such a great platform and their team is super responsive and customer-sensitive. SO easy for my clients to use to download images and purchase products!
I gave them 2 stars for a clean appearance and ease of sharing. Otherwise, GOOD LUCK with all the upset & exasperated clients you will have to deal with over the years.
I shoot actors & work closely with talent agents in Los Angeles. Shootproof's glitchy software has LOST ME ENTIRE AGENCIES because they simply hate dealing with these galleries!
There is a huge GLITCH in the "favorites" system which causes a client's favorites to simply disappear. There is another glitch that causes one client to be able to over-write another user's favorites even when logged in using a different email. There is another glitch that shows favorites being narrowed down, but later you realize they didn't narrow because you were un-starring from the thumbnail view. But there is a star there! And sometimes that method works! Sometimes it doesn't! WTAF???!!
I hate these galleries and cannot wait to find a new company. This is the last straw.
Very Disappointing. Zero customer service. I was with them for years and the whole system is a mess compared to what I am with now.
They didn't try to fix anything, offer support or improve their services in that time. I also paid a year upfront and closed my account after 2 months - they are keeping the whole years payment and didn't even look for feedback why I left.
A poor business that I wouldn't recommend.

I've had shootproof for a while and when I did my first photoshoot I was quite simply out of my depth with how to provide my customer with what she wanted to order. I upgraded to a paid account and found there is loads of information in the help sections but I had no time to take learning it all. I contacted Shootproof and Rayne has been amazing over the last few days, guiding me through everything and answering questions so promptly that I wasn't worried. Thank you Rayne and Shootproof. I'm on holiday next week and promise to read all of the help sections :-)
