Zenfolio lives up to its name
Overall, I have to say I am very satisfied with Zenfolio. There was a time last year I experienced some technical problems with my website as some of the photo previews weren't loading properly. I remember giving them a lot of grief then because it was a persistent problem, and it was getting under my skin. They weren't able to fix it either, and I felt like they were dragging their feet...
I was honestly at the point of considering whether or not to choose another platform, but after repeated talks with their support, I could tell that they cared at least. I am personally convinced they did everything in their power to fix the problem, but for whatever reason it just wasn't working. Like a freak accident, and I suppose these things happen once in a while...
I need to remind myself that I've been with Zenfolio since 2016, so 10 years and counting, and it works great most of the time. Quick to complain the moment something goes wrong, but I have a bad habit of staying quiet when it comes to recognizing all the many things they did right. My website also seems to be working more efficiently now after repeated talks with their customer support.
Zenfolio might have not have been able to fix that one stubborn problem, but I know I can trust them now. I still continue to encounter the occasional hiccups, and message their support about them as needed, but they're always around to help. Plus I have to remember that my website works great most of the time, and I have Zenfolio to thank for building such a wonderful platform 🙏

Customer service doesn't reply
Customer service doesn't reply. Built a gallery and then I was locked out of my account with no prior warning, no ability to reset my password to regain access, waste of time. I wouldn't bother using them, plenty of alternatives.

It’s 2025 and after ten years still no app to organize my website on iPhone, still no way to browse the editor in safari or any mobile browser, I’m forced to use a computer to do as little as turning on a downloading option for clients, user interface is SO outdated, user experience is a nightmare, my galleries at arbitrarily “archived” by Zenfolio rendering them unavailable for my clients, it’s IMPOSSIBLE to remove my credit card from my payment options, subscription price in incredibly high and not justified and there is NO button in the accounts settings to terminate the subscription. I wish I didn’t start my website using Zenfolio more than 10 years ago. Feels like a total scam.

Zenfolio ist toll, solange die Galerien nicht "archiviert" werden. Das geschieht automatisch nach einigen inaktiven Monaten. Für das Reaktivieren benötigt Zenfolio bis zu 24 Stunden, und die Bilder sind dann wild durcheinander gewürfelt. Der Arbeitsaufwand für das sorgfältige Zusammenstellen der Alben ist zunichte gemacht.

I just want to try Zenfolie. I was a good start. but next day I was nor abel to login, I contact to custumer suport unfortunaly there is no help, Even I can acces my data. This is not acceptabel.

Customer service is terrible
NOT WORTH THE MONEY
Customer service is a coin flip between mediocrity with rare moments of decency, and completely dismissing you and wasting your time. They'll also write you a million flowerly emails, but never get anything done.
Thanks "Rob"! Your unprofessional apathetic customer service response brought me here. Not sure what else I can do to motivate Zenfolio to have proper customer service, other than switch to another website provider and leave bad reviews when they frustrate me.
They have some great features and the stability is OK (definitely not perfect), but their customer service works at a snails pace and you may have to try 3 or 4 times to get someone to actually read or respond to your complaint.
Considering they can cost 10X as much as their competitors, I'll definitely be reviewing my options for the future today.

When I need help Alex is always there to help me. Iam not all that good using a computer but with Alex helping me it works out great.

Rip-off and scam practices
Well after a year of what seemed reasonable service this month they just increased the 500GB storage we were paying extra for by 240% No notification nothing.. No information on website saying there's a a different price or you'll be charge a higher price, nothing.
Smacks of greed and scamy practice!! Cost for additional storage went from £5 per month what my daughter was paying to £17pm, for 500gb which is a total rip-off!!!
Now looking to close the account, we can't even change the subscription.

Not Recommended
Unfortunately, I can no longer recommend Zenfolio. They charged my account after I canceled their service and it seems they no longer have any actual customer service reps to respond to inquiries, only the bot. They provide a phone number, but you cannot get past the menu to get to an agent.

I’ve been with Zenfolio for 10 years…
I’ve been with Zenfolio for 10 years and they have been nothing but helpful in the process of building and revamping my website. Their growth on providing new and modern websites has been so worth it to have them as my platform of choice!

Long Distance Service
I live in Ireland - all of 6,000 miles from where Zenfolio are based yet the customer service, even with the 8 hour time difference, is very good. I find them to be a very decent, accommodating company. I booked a 'Success' session with Dennis and he was excellent .

Great experience
Great experience, an issue with billing currency switching was resolved by customer service, that included some gifted credit for disruption caused. These guys are fabulous to deal with.
