Did Not Choose SHOP Pay

When I purchased some nail wraps at a reputable well known retailer, the process somehow went through SHOP Pay, which I did not choose or click on their purple logo button. The next day that card was used several times on unauthorized charges. One was a $3500 Louis Vuitton handbag!!

Today I was checking out at an apparel establishment online. I did not click on SHOP Pay or PayPal. The credit card area was down below that. I filled out everything, expecting that area to be direct with the apparel company. After I hit submit order, it came up and said your information has been saved on SHOP!! OMG!!

I immediately went to the SHOP site and deleted my "account" and all data connected with it but that it could take up to 30 days! UGH! Run from SHOP Pay anytime you see it.

I purchased a a pocket-size MagSafe selfie-stick tripod with Bluetooth remote. It costs me $51 CAD. once I received the product, it wasn't working and I reached out to them, they refuse to refund my money, only 25% of the money they are willing to refund. I highly recommend everyone to avoid the frustration at all costs, don't buy anything from them.

Once you're in you can't get out!

Don't know how I became a member of this website but irritated by the prompt for a code on some of the websites I shop on so tried to cancel membership. Also concerned about credit card claims if a product doesn't arrive or is damaged as you're buying via a third party. Got as far as 'delete account' when it asked me to log in (I'd already logged in to get that far). As soon as I logged in it asked for a six digit code sent to my phone. Only trouble was It refused to send me a code despite several attempts so I couldn't proceed. Amazing how the six digit code works ok if you're logging in or buying something but not if you're trying to leave. I now have a note next to my screen to deter any members of my family from using their prompt. I also haven't advised them of my new credit card number so they're wasting their time with me. Avoid like the plague.

Dodgy website through Shoppay

Made a purchase through Shoppay for some products that were clearly through a scam company. The company appears legitimate and shop pay happily took my money. I have never received the goods. The owner of the company just keeps lying the latest saying the goods have been sent when he can not provide me with any proof of posting. Shoppay take no responsibility for refund or looking into the problem with the company they have allowed to use their system. I will not use Shop pay again and therefore cannot recommend them to other users.

Purchased a Mobile Phone Mount in…

Purchased a Mobile Phone Mount in September 2025 and after 4 months the magnetic ring and arm fell off while driving. I attempted to remove it to see if it could be put back together and everything fell apart. I emailed them to advise of the issue and they replied that they will send a replacement. It has been 3 weeks and no replacement. SCAM BUSINESS AVOID AT ALL COST.

I made a purchase through Shoppay

I made a purchase through Shoppay. I contacted the company I received my product through for a refund which they did back to Shoppay. I have been contacting them for weeks regarding my money. They at first claimed I need to reach out to the manufacturer. When I explained that I did, they then claim that any refund they receive will be applied to any payment set up for this order. Previous payments were already made to them so I should be receiving 75% of my refund back. They just continue to same me the identical message saying to contact the manufacturer, so basically they have kept my refund. I will never use them again for anything.

It's a real pain for me

It's a real pain for me. I have to be vigilant about making sure I correct the mailing address when I buy from each new vendor because Shop atomically uses an old address. There's no way to update a central address one time - it must be done with each vendor. What makes the situation even more frustrating is that it appears to be a know problem, but they can't or won't fix it. Shop itself recommends deleting credit card information and re-entering it to resolve the problem, but I tried it and it doesn't work. Whenever possible, I opt out of using Shop because it's a hassle, and I've even stopped using vendors because I couldn't opt out or they made it difficult.

Scam

I saw the product and I like it so order it, but did not get it the tracker showed it was somewhere else I didn’t get my product I feel it was a scam I stay with SHEIN and Temu. So disappointed

Just a hassle

Just a hassle. I have no idea what phone number is associated with my account and why. So when I try to buy something a code is sent to an incorrect phone number. Because I don't receive the code I can't place the order. Totally useless and frustrating. I wish companies wouldn't use this "service"

its REALLY bad

its bad. thnx to this new method alot of american sites no longer accept paypal or Bank from different nations because this was suppose to replace it, yet it only gives you creditcard options which is also the only thing these american sites offer. its basically forces you to get a credit card to buy anything. And creditcards are just not wildy a thing in europe and is higly despised because its easy to get into debt. HUGE MISS

Worst company ever

Worst company ever! I have been trying to make my payments for weeks. I have proof its the app and customer service is refusing to help blame affirm. I show nothing owing with affirm, then blamed it on mt having put a different email on my order then my log in email!! Horrible customer service, horrible interactions, saying im not making payments, same card on file, funds have always been there, just horrible wont ever use them again!!

Can't communicate with them

Can't communicate with them. They have help but the help form submit button is greyed out. I had issue with a credit card stored on another persons account and they are impossible to communicate with.

Unauthorized Transactions (Shop Pay)

Shop Pay stole a purchase of mine. I was on the Klarna App and making a purchase from Hourglass. When suddenly Shop Pay snatched a full payment from my bank account. I tried to cancel the transaction to no avail. The Shop Pay App kept buffering for hours each time I tried to access it. I contacted Hourglass immediately after Shop Pay snatched the full payment only to be told Hourglass does not cancel order transactions. I was told the order goes immediately to the processing center. Yet the order isn’t processed for a few days. My bank sent a fraud alert to ask if I made the transaction. I said yes through Klarna not knowing the the transaction was really through Shop Pay. I then contacted Klarna and was told there had been a mixup.
How is this legal when a customer doesn’t choose Shop Pay to handle the transaction. This is not the first time Shop Pay has done this to me.
Something should be done about this.

ShopPay Fraud, hijacks ccards

I didn't sign up for SHopPay, and in trying to delete any info ShopPay has about me, it wants all my personal info. NO customer service. This is a fraud site, which hijacks credit cards,

Have had 3 fraudulent transactions…

Have had 3 fraudulent transactions charged through Shop Pay on the credit card on file with them. Deleted and locked my card and tried to delete my account, but you can't delete an account that has set up installment payments, which was done on one on the fraudulent transactions. There is NO ONE to help you with anything. DO NOT USE SHOP PAY. It will cost you, and good luck getting it resolved.

THIS COMPANY IS THE WORST. THEY HAVE SO MANY COMPANIES ON THEIR SHOPPING LIST. SO TECHNICALLY THEY PROMOTE THESE COMPANIES BUT WHEN YOU HAVE ISSUES OR COMPLAINTS NO ONE IS TO BE FOUND. EVEN IF DONT WANT TO USE SHOP PAY THEY STILL APPEAR ON CERTAIN PURCHASES. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. ALL THEY TELL YOU IS CONTACT THE STORE WHEN THERE ISNT A STORE. THEY GIVE A BOGGUS TRACKING NUMBER. AND THEY JUST TAKE YOUR MONEY. AND DISAPPEAR. AND SHOP PAY IS ALLOWING THIS TO HAPPEN. THIS COMPANY IS TRASH!!!!
