Shoppay Avis 

Stay away from this app at all costs. In the tiny print, it says it saves your credit card. It then automatically charges items that you may accidentally put in a card. Too late to change. Shoppay has already charged it and it is impossible to cancel the order because no one answers their customer service phone OR their chat. Hideous app.

This company is a complete scam ordered goods via there site never received the goods do not use this site.

I ordered a gift to be delivered to the recipient; Shoppay gratuitously changed the delivery address to my own. I thought I changed it back, but Shoppay had the gift sent to my address anyway. I am no fan of algorithms that know what I want better than I do.

There is no assistance when items don't arrive. I ordered artwork, the email that I received had a non valid Track your order link so I could not report the issue to Shop Pay as without this you can't complete the query. Paypal will be my go to from here as it has a genuine dispute resolution process. I can't even put a complaint in to warn other purchasers.

Shop pay is just a scam offered by shopify to add insulation to sellers. It offers zero protection to buyers and directly enables clearly fraudulent sellers. Obviously there are plenty of legitimate businesses that use it but don't assume for a second that any kind of vetting or service is being provided to buyers. Shop pay does nothing to resolve disputes. NEVER use a debit card and never purchase from a company that you can't independently verify the details of

I paid £40 on my Credit Card which was declined so they allowed the company to take three payments out of my debit account for the same amount. My bank notice and contacted me to question the transactions...Do not ever use this company. They are also owned by a Canadian company who trade as Spotify.YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED 31.8.2025

Never signed up with them. Never shared data with them, however they keep popping up all the time.
Deleted my account twice and they still reappear out of nowhere with all my data.
They need to be banned!!!

I gave them 1 star but they don't deserve any. I thought I purchased a fan got nothing but a delivery message, no product. Shop pay makes you wait 30 days to report an issue. After the 30 days past they allow you to send a message to the seller, which means nothing because the fake site was down the next day and the email came back with errors, this is my 2nd time seeing this happen. Shop pay sidesteps any accountability. So they’ve created a platform for people to create fake products and scam you and you get nothing but conversation. I’ll never use them again. Ever!

This is a scam website. Signed up to track a parcel through a clothing company. Had no idea that when I was purchasing via a third party payment method and I had not authorised this company to take my money, I didn’t provide my card details so no idea how they obtained this. The purchase was completed before I had time to select a payment method and update my details. There is nothing to confirm that you even want to make the payment , it’s like magic boom your money is gone .

Shop Pay is enabling scam websites to operate by failing to properly vet their merchants. I made a purchase through a website that used Shop Pay for payment processing, only to discover it was a fraudulent store that never sent the goods and ignored all contact.

If Shop Pay wants to be trusted, they need to take responsibility for who they process payments for, vet sellers before onboarding, and swiftly remove any merchant found to be defrauding customers. Until then, I would strongly advise against using Shop Pay.

Shoppay is merchant biased and non customer friendly. I bought a dress that looks NOTHING like the pics and videos and they refuse to make the merchant accept a return. PayPal is the leader in this field as it supports its customers and I will never purchase through Shoppay again.

Good luck to anyone who insists on using this platform. I have tried to delete my account. Impossible. Apparently, I need an access code which I do not believe exists. I attempted to send a message and all shaded out on 'submit'.
This is all time consuming and irritating. I hold a subscription with an agency who remove personal details when idiots like this one refuse to do so.

Scam be careful I didn’t know they had my details. I put my card on Omaze as a charity subscription I didn’t know it was through Shoppay, now every time I browse the internet I’m one step away from accidentally buying things. They store you card and the security pin and if you accidentally press the wrong thing too late you’ve paid no security check !!! Then to make it worse they have no customer service they just tell you to go to store of purchase which if your browsing or on instagram could be any dodgy site, like I found out today. How dare they store your details and security I thought banks were cracking down on this I know I have to answer 20 questions to transfer between my own accounts!!!!

Worst Company. You can't call this company to speak to a live person. You have to go through their website or app and click on the help button and email them. They respond when they feel like it and most of their responses are canned. So then when you respond to the canned email, they just don't answer you. So it's just a vicious circle of unanswered emails and unresolved issues. They keep reporting the wrong address to all three credit bureaus and they refused to take the address out of their system. They keep telling me to go into my shop account on the app or website and change the address myself but the address that they are falsely reporting is not showing on my account on my end. It's on their end. Only they can remove it from my account. I'm not associated with this address, I've never lived at this address and they are refusing to remove it. And every single month they keep reporting this false address to all three credit bureaus and are refusing to remove it. I requested them to remove it 10 times with nothing with the runaround....

Made a purchase to ceylon organic using shop pay 1.5 months ago. Still haven't received my order & both companies give me the runaround

I have been scammed by a bogus retailer selling through shoppay. Shop pay offer no assistance whatsoever. Hopefully Credit card company can resolve. Beware that shoppay is not a safe payment platform.

I placed an order through shop pay twice now and have not received the items and they offered no help to resolve this, I tried contacting the seller but they can no longer be contacted.
Don't use shop pay to purchase anything

If shop pay needs any proof or evidence regarding my order /payment can provide to shop pay.

Probably the most devious and intrusive marketing app I have seen. Mascerading to naive customers as a "convenient payment way" it collects ALL your data anywhere you shop and submits them to countless targeted advertising companies.
Customers often are not even aware they have created accounts with Shop pay and given their rights away. Retailers should be advised to offer customers notification about Shop Pay, and options to stop Shop Pay for their accounts.

This is a hacking and fraudulent piece of software I found on a pet food site named Skippers. I did not look at a card to use, I did not enter a card number at any time. But still a payment was taken. Having checked my Android Wallet I do have card details stored there and have notified Google of this problem. Will not be storing card details here again. I will notify my bank asap even though my intention was to purchase the product. If you see Shop Pay, steer well clear. I have good reason to think that Shop Pay loaded itself on my phone during a short period of idle usage.
