Shortland Horne Avis 

I would not recommend Shortland Horne, it was obvious that they had overpriced the value of our home and I questioned their valuation on the basis of comparative properties. We went with their advice and never had an enquiry for 5 months, they then advised us to drop the price by 50K which we did bringing it to a realistic price. Fortunately they did find us a cash buyer but after agreeing a price and instructing solicitors Shortland Horne after sales assistant Linda nearly lost us the sale by advising our buyers to ‘have a plan B’ and to keep looking at other properties, she then told us that unless we could speed up our solicitor our buyers may pull out, we found out from our buyers that they were lied to as well. In the end I complained to our solicitor and she sent Linda Collins an email asking her not to contact us again and to only contact her. We found her to be extremely rude, overbearing and deliberately misleading. John Bowden

SH have just helped us sell our mothers house, the fees were competitive, great photos, & literature. We didnt have to chase once, the whole process was seemless.

They was very good they did not sell our house it was on the market for 5 Mouths and we had 4 viewing in that time we thought that was low and could not understand why we was not getting more viewing. We would use them again but ask them to market the property different way. (the Parking)
We are going to try a different Estate Agent in the hope they sell our house time will tell.

Phone attendant was rude and unhelpful while trying to locate the property, I was there well before the agreed time. They left the property before I could view. I was being respectful trying to explain I couldn’t locate the block; I don’t think I’ve ever spoken to anyone so unprofessional before, like you’re doing me a favour or giving me a free house.

Advertising a property that’s not actually available for purchase. We made an offer after viewing and it took a whole week to be told they already have a buyer in place. Very Poor communication.
