Shurgard Self Storage - Wandsworth Avis 

I was greeted warmly as soon as I stepped into the office and was offered assistance immediately. The lady, Margaret, if I remember rightly, was very kind and helpful. Solved my problems in no time at all.

Even though office was closed at Wandsworth, I had to drive @ 3 miles to the Putney office where the manager was very helpful. Everything was explained clearly and my experience so far in using the facility has been easy and great.

Thoroughly rude staff and underhand tactics used to extort more cash after the contract had ended by fabricating an alternative set of facts which ultimately were prroved to be entirely without basis

I wanted to highlight the kindness and understanding Lewis gave to me,who works at the Wandsworth Branch .
He has exceptional people skills and was very personable, when assisting me through some difficulty.
Very much appreciated.
Makes such a difference to people and their lives.

How to get into the storage was not properly explained. Nobody was there to provide support.

The service is quick and excellent

I booked a unit online went to the location .my codes were not recognised and when I rang support they said they were closed till Monday so I'd have to wait the weekend to get in . Terrible service

what made my experience is the ease of signing up with shurgard the customer service and the whole process of getting into the storage unit, only thing is
not a lot of cars especially removal vans in the car park overall

I use a location close where i live. i downloaded the Ap paid 18 quidd for the insurance grabbed the 1 quid a month deal and i had the access code on my phone as simple as that... oh and i got the largest storage like 25 sqmetres .AWESOME

The lift on site is very slow, and too small to take more than one of the trolleys provided

Semira the store manager has been super helpful and communicative with all my needs for the storage unit.

I gave notice a month before vacating a storage I had for 4.5 years with Shurgaard Wandsworth . That 's more than £10,500 that were paid to them to keep some furniture .

I vacated the storage 2 weeks before the end of term . I aknowledged it to Reception the day the removal company came to empty the space .

A month later to my surprise I received another invoice .
I had left the lock on the storage so that no one would use it for free and so that it would not be left open for squats or intruders or any illegal occupation since it was now empty

Shurgaard Wandsworh ( John , the manager ) is now telling me that although I gave my notice in due time that since the lock was still on the door I would be charged for an extra months AND that they would also charge me for removing the lock themselves . That 's an additional £ 300 for nothing and not using the storage .

The storage receptionnist had so many opportunities to directly , in person , tell me to remove the lock and they never did . This is absolutely unacceptable .
They were always rude and extremely unhelpful during the 4.5 years I went there , always ruthless and unfriendly . I would absolutely not recomment this storage facility who has no sense of costumer service in any way and is absolutely useless , the Manager is the most unfriendly and inappropriate Business Manager I have ever seen , his name is John .
It looks like more costumers have been going through a very rough time with this Manager ( see below )

I recommend to stay away from this self storage as they are very uncivilised and rude and dishonnest .
