BE AWARE!! Misleading listing information. I just bid and bought a pair of Apple iPod Pro's fully aware of the risk involved in them not working properly, HOWEVER they arrived in the box which clearly states, 'Connection Fault'. Other AirPods listed had their fualts mentioned so you at least knew what you were buying, there was no justifiable reason for this listing not to have the clearly indicated fault mentioned. A complete waste of money.
Used For the first time and was really disappointed. The toaster I bought wouldn’t turn on at all. I get there not checked when returned but it’s disappointing when you’ve paid good money.
My husband has been buying from Simon Charles Auctioneers for last couple of years. 99% of the items he won in auctions were absolute crap and ended in the bin and skip; they were unusable. Electric/electronic items never worked. The rest of the items were in used dirty filthy condition, all beyond repair (!) except for 1 item which was OK. Oh yes, they have it in their condtions, that they are not responsible for teh state of their crap they let you bid on their website. I don't understand how can they get away with it when everything is damaged beyond repair and electric items are dangerous faulty items sold to public. No refund, no warranty, no repair. They make money selling such a crap and you save them even more money as you have to take it to the skip for them.
Example of items we bought:
* 2 electronic tablets, £40, faulty,didn't work, not worth having them fixed. Had to go to bin.
* 2 garden gazebos, bought on separate occasions. Over £20 each, they said RRP £300 but they were broken beyond repair! Used condition, filthy, smelly, 50% of the bars were broken and smashed, fabric ripped, we couldn't use it, not possible to fix something like that! Another over £40 into bin.
* electr. flying toy helicopter, expensive one. Used condition and not working!!! Bin again.
* 2 electronic toys, also not cheap, again none was working! Had to go to bin.
* electric driller - used condition, and charger missing.
Just avoid these scammers. They con people. They know they sell crap and they do not care. They would let you bid hundreds of pounds on items that are worth £0, damaged beyond repair. Shame on you. Sure you're going to say to read your terms and conditions. I would still not imagine somebody would sell such a damaged crap for money, cannot believe it... On Ebay you wouldn't get away with it!!! Won't bid again, today was a last crap we have collected from you. £20 and the item is again damaged beyond repair. Wish I could post photos here to show people what we bought from you.

Disgusting customer service, my daughter bid on doors when collecting they gave the wrong one when asked for a refund on the one door out of a few they said they couldn’t do partial refunds only to take all items or have a full refund. All items left and a full refund requested. Advised this would be back in the account 3-5 days and now no money has been revised weeks on ans they keep making an excuse that a manger has to call first!! Why you took the money and kept the items with no refund it is technically THEFT!! Refund the money like you are obligated too within a reasonable time this is ridiculous you dragging it out like this! What is the reason? No excuse is good enough
We've spent around 10k with Simon Charles over the last 12 months . Service has been excellent , from picking accuracy to deliver speed . Some of these reviews are hilarious , because you demonstrate your greed . Weighing in with your bids before reading the small print . They even say you are not buying what you see ( ie catalogue picture etc ) then people complain when they receive 1 leg of a kitchen table or electrics that dont work . DO YOUR HOMEWORK . ASK FOR AN APPRAISAL . Dont blame them when its your error
Purchased a shaver and charger only received charger after numerous ignored emails I got a message to say they had found shaver when I received shaver the head was missing so unusable I emailed them sent picture from their page showing shaver I won had head on they just ignore emails
Waste of money.
Please and please rather giving your money to this company, donate it to your local charity.

Sorry we missed you but we have got you we will try redeliver tomorrow. Tomorrow came and went no card either day not on my video door bell either.
Phoned to be told I am not there customer I am a customer of Simon Charles even though I paid for the delivery through Simon Charles.
Paid for home delivery as only option DPD only delivered to the 4th closest pickup shop 2 miles away the closest is 1 mile with 2 more in-between.
Phone Simon Charles to be told they can request it back and redeliver at my expense. I said that's not the case as I still have not recieved it as the contact hasn't been fulfilled as I paid for home delivery. I Requested a refund to be told I will have to email them and request one as they can't do it over the phone and I would loose out on delivery and charges not worth it now absolute joke.
My only option now is to go get from shop at my expense or have it redelivered at my expense. Will not be ordering again as this was a 1st and a last. Girl who answered the phone wasn't helpfull or sympathetic in the slightest. Still don't even know if they work.
Complaint submitted now.

I thought this was a reputable auction company not a bin dipping bunch of criminals. Bought a few things and so far nothing has worked. Not a problem I say to myself, I'm handy with a screwdriver so I'll fix things up. Still fixing....
Last straw was a ninja cooker that arrived that looked like stig of the dump had been using it as a latrine! Don't say its unprocessed raw eturns when it's clearly been used for months in your staff kitchen!!!

The customer service team do their best in difficult circumstances.
The owner which i named but he raised an objection to trust pilot and wanted his name removing, wonder why mmm should be ashamed but he wont be as hes a crook.He drives around with his fancy porsche and fantastic tan yet his warehouse staff are working their socks off for 9.50 per hour for all the lifting they do etc. I went 3 months ago to handforth and again last week.The manager had left and every single 1 of the warehouse staff have left bar 1. No wonder they are losing items left right and centre. The postage can take weeks to get delivered and in general the owner is not bothered because he has plenty of fools like you and me to buy his stuff. I do often wonder how this can be legal for a company to sell broken items regardless of whether it says these items are not tested.
The staff are clearly as unhappy as the customers yet the owner whom i am now not allowed to name as he objected to trust pilot is very happy. My advice would be to him to change his attitude, look after your staff and they will look after you. Look after your customers and they will look after you by returning time and time again. My advice to customers would be to go and view the items first if everyone went to view the items people would say im not buying that and the owner whom objected to me mentioning his name would be left with more and more crap to fill up his warehouse. Have a good day.

I don't know if you go to their warehouse and see the things and test in there. This is the only time I paid someone to dump his/her rubish on me and charge me so I will dump it again and get charged by the waste collection company. They send me items that has got a big handwriting " Not working" and they sold it to me.
One of the worse customer service there is on earth. Right from the collection gate u start getting bullied. Talk more about the mad wait in there to collect. You stay in line for hours and to think the line has just 10 customers. Workers just chatting in there and your product is guaranteed not to be complete. What a rip off
To whom it may concern,
I arrived at the auction at 12:20pm and wasn't seen until 3:47 which is absolutely atrocious.
Out of the 3 items that was for collection 1 was missing and was told someone will co tact you IF they find it. Also the items was stamped on with foot prints on which it didn't have during when bidding.
So not only have they damaged the item they lost the other one.
I asked to speak to manager who was called "Steve/ Steven" who mentioned he only started last Monday and doesn't have a clue and will take him few months to sort the place out.
If I don't receive any correspondence within 3 days of today (11/07/2022) I will be taking to small claims court.

I bought thousands of pounds worth goods from this company previously before lock down. Can't say they were all good, a lot of them I have to dump in the skip! Recently they changed to postal service, and hype the postage charges. Despite me paying a pricey posting, I had to wait for weeks for my goods to be processed and still been delayed. The customer services were as useless as anything I have seen, they are simpletons, have very little if any IQs, on top of that they treat customers like dirt. They can not handle a simple question such as "where is my post?", also I have no idea why they should be placed there as a dummy. STAY AWAY FROM THIS CROOOK company. Better do business elsewhere. John Pye Auctioneer or others similar.

I would like to inform people the large amount of negative feedback threw me into anger mode and almost a small claims court . No need they refunded without a fight and apologised . So I was refunded and they restored my faith with little or no hassle . The lesson learned is to view at what ever the cost and check ( take pics ext ) of what you wish to buy . Thank you Simon Charles for your correspondence and refunds . Would def use you again .

I bought a LOL glamper van for my granddaughter having “won” an auction. The site tells you that it has not been inspected and it may miss parts. However, I found that the photograph (one only) that they took for this is very deceptive and misleads in to bidding for the item. I refer in case to this item where the photographer took a photo of the “passenger” side of the vehicle which looked good. The side that was not photographed was missing the drivers door and the front of the vehicle, also not photographed was missing the bonnet.
I emailed the company saying that their photo was deceitful but they just send a standard pre worded reply saying that it could be missing parts.
THEY DID NOT ADDRESS THE ISSUE THAT THEIR PHOTO WAS DECEITFUL.
I probably will not bid on this site again and would warn anyone who is going to bid, if they do not show all sides in an ad, DO NOT BUY - it’s probably missing a part that they do not want you to see.
AND WHEN YOU WRITE A BAD REVIEW THEY BLOCK YOUR ACCOUNT!

New to this company, I recently bid on a lot for a stainless steel deep fat fryer
and was unfortunate to win, received a totally different model to what I bid for (broken) and when I complained was told this was the one I ordered,
If anyone reading this is still nieve enough to deal with this company make sure you take a picture from your phone, laptop, showing the item you bid for otherwise you will have the same problem I had, good luck you will need it.
Borderline dishonest, goods are sketchy at best. Description and pics usually don't match the item received.
Customer service is poor at best
Disgusting attitude to customers ! Ready to take your money fast enough and speak to you like dirt for asking when will someone take care of the queue! Then after travelling and paying for a van goods are not even there ! And then fighting for your money back to be then locked out of your account ! WOW ! Absolute crooks !
